Store Directory

A main feature of the Boulevard Mall that endears it to us is the collection of stores. There are abundant high-end shopping venues in Las Vegas, but the Boulevard Mall offers a more relaxed shopping experience with a collection of unique boutiques and stores that are about as far from pretentious as you can get.

The retail options make this a great mall for hanging out and wandering around. If you’re of a ‘certain age’, like us, you’ll find the Boulevard Mall to be reminiscent of your mall rat days as a teen. There’s plenty here for families, too.

Entertainment Options

The Boulevard Mall is more than just fun shopping and good eats. They also offer top-notch entertainment options, including a highly-rated movie theater and SeaQuest Aquarium.

Galaxy Theatres

Galaxy Theatres at Boulevard Mall in Vegas

Every mall needs a great movie theater, and at The Boulevard Mall, it is the Galaxy Theatre. The Galaxy has earned great reviews, and we can’t find a single reason to disagree with them.

The theater shows new releases, along with movies for kids and classics. They also usually have at least one open caption movie playing.

One feature that helps this theater stand out is the seating. It’s plush, extra wide, and super comfortable with a tray for your food and drink. No more being crammed in and bumping elbows with the stranger in the seat next to you! A few people have even mentioned that the extra wide seats are great for cuddling while watching a movie, but we’ll leave that up to you!

Galaxy Theatre offers a reward program for frequent moviegoers, and you can purchase tickets to your favorite movie using their app.

SeaQuest Aquarium

The Boulevard Mall is home to SeaQuest Aquarium, which is an aquatic and safari experience that guests of all ages will love.

There are tons of interactive activities, including Asian otters and crested porcupines, and you can even dip your feet in the water and experience fishy kisses! Ok, this last one is not for the squeamish, but the little fishies do remove dead skin from the feet, so it’s like an aquarium and spa visit in one.

If the interactive exhibits aren’t your thing, there are still more than 1,200 animals from around the world to see during this adventure.

Our tip is to visit between Monday and Thursday when the tickets are offered at a discounted price.

Rex Center

Rex Center

The Rex Center is a family-fun venue at the Boulevard Mall. Adventure lovers will enjoy activities like go-karts, laser tag, and wall climbing. There’s also a fun dino-themed mini golf course. We’d say that the golf course is less adrenaline-pumping than the laser tag, but the challenge level of some of the holes proves otherwise.

There’s a food and drink menu with the standards, like pizza, fries, burgers, and cheese sticks, along with non-alcoholic beverages.

The Rex Center is open daily. Monday through Friday, the hours are 3 pm until 8 pm, and on the weekends, you can stop by from noon until 7 pm.

Juniper Express Railroad

The Juniper Express is a mini train that takes passengers on a 14-minute ride around the Boulevard Mall. It’s a fun, retro-looking train. that’s the perfect size for little ones — although those of us who are adult size can squeeze our bodies in there as well.

Parents are welcome to help their children board the train and then relax at the Depo, knowing that the train conductor is taking them on a safe tour around the mall. Tickets are currently $3 per person per ride.

The schedule of events at the Boulevard Mall changes regularly, so take a quick look at their site to see what’s going on before you go.

El Mercado

  • A unique section offering arts, crafts, and traditional foods.
  • Stores in El Mercado include 702-Churros & More, 911 Taco Bar, and others.

El Mercado is a part of the Boulevard Mall that celebrates Hispanic culture. There’s a fabulous collection of boutiques and artisan creators, all in a section that’s bursting with color, energy, and authentic atmosphere.

We love shopping at El Mercado, but let’s talk about the food. Oh, my goodness. The food. The offerings are located in an open food court-style space, so you can wander around and decide which sight or smell is capturing your attention the most. Be warned that it might be hard to decide, but picking up a treat to eat either now or later is a must.
