Vegas Food & Fun is a guide to the best food, shows, hotels, and things to do in Las Vegas. We are Bob and Jenn Bassett, your tour guides. We’ve been venturing around this city for 19 years trying to find not just the fun and flashy, but also the hidden gems the locals love.
We started this website after a visit to Las Vegas with our son. We ended up wandering the streets lost looking for Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum, which didn’t exist anymore. All the Vegas websites had outdated information.
So we decided we would do it better with real info, updated regularly. We also try to create a community feel, so you can ask anything, and if we don’t know, we’ll go find the answers for you. Our mission is to make Las Vegas travel fun!
When we first started coming to Vegas, our cash flow was more of a cash trickle. 😉 So we were always on the lookout for a great deal (which is why we added coupons on the site).
While we still love a great deal, over the years we’ve expanded our taste to include higher-end fine dining, nicer hotels, and we spring for the valet parking. But we still love down-home comfort foods (like the mac n cheese burger at Fieri’s), the free shows on the Strip still left, and everything in between.
The shows originally brought us to Las Vegas. Every type of show is available here from full-production Cirque du Soleil shows to amazing comedy acts to magicians. You can see shows here you’ll never find anywhere else!
