venetian valet parking

Driving through Sin City is challenging enough, but Las Vegas parking can be even more difficult, especially if you’re not familiar with the city and all of the places that are available for you to park.

If you’re on the Las Vegas Strip, you want a place to park that offers accessibility to all the entertainment and dining, but you might not want to spend a fortune on parking alone. The same is true for Downtown Las Vegas and the various event venues throughout the city.

Free parking in Las Vegas on the Strip might sound like a magical unicorn, but it is possible to find free parking right in the heart of the city’s dining, entertainment, and casinos.

Fontainebleau

Fontainebleau Las Vegas North entrance and valet

You wouldn’t expect a hotel as fancy as Fontainebleau to offer free parking, but you are going to be surprised. They offer free self parking for all hotel guests, and four hours free self parking for everyone.

You can even get your valet ticket validated (free) if you are dining at any of their sit down restaurants, or getting a cocktail in their bars or lounges.

Circus Circus

Circus Circus Las Vegas offers all guests and visitors free self-parking in their parking garage. If you’re interested in valet parking, they offer some of the most affordable in town.

Valet parking fees range from $12-$16 for an entire day, depending if you’re parking during the week or on the weekend.

Wynn & Encore Las Vegas

Self-parking is free for hotel guests at the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. The parking garages are easy to find, being located right off the Las Vegas Strip.

Free parking is subject to availability. Valet parking is also available at a cost that’s standard for the location.

MGM Signature

The MGM Signature offers free valet parking for hotel guests staying at the property. Free valet parking perks are extended to one vehicle per room.

Sahara Las Vegas

The Sahara has one of the most generous free parking policies on the Las Vegas Strip. They offer free parking for all guests and visitors in the parking garages. This includes both complimentary self-parking and valet parking without any restrictions.

Whether you’re there to enjoy one of the restaurants or are staying in the hotel, it’s all free! You don’t even have to worry about keeping track of your parking ticket.

Treasure Island

Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip offers complimentary self-parking for all guests staying at the hotel or visiting their casino.

Resorts World

One of the newest hotels on the Strip offers free parking for all guests. They also offer a great deal on valet parking, charging guests and visitors only $25 for an entire day.

Fashion Show Mall

Fashion Show Mall Parking

The Fashion Show Mall offers free parking in Las Vegas during regular mall hours. They have two multi-level self-parking garages for guests to use.

There are also several valet parking stations, and the nice part is that you can drop your car off at one valet station and pick it up at another, so you don’t have to walk all the way back to your starting point!

Shoppes at Mandalay Place

Shoppes at Mandalay Place

Just like the Fashion Show Mall, the Shoppes at Mandalay Bay also offer free parking during normal business hours. You can visit all the shops without feeling rushed because you don’t want to spend a fortune at the parking garage.

Free Parking Downtown Las Vegas

Free Parking Downtown Las Vegas

One might think it would be easier to find hotels and businesses that offer free parking in Downtown Las Vegas than it is on the Strip, but that isn’t necessarily the case. It’s actually more difficult to find parking you don’t have to pay for, but many locations offer parking that costs significantly less than paid parking on the Strip.

Most hotels that have a casino offer parking for guests and visitors, but others only allow guests staying at their hotel access to their parking garage. This is due entirely to space restriction issues.

The El Cortez does offer free parking for their guests in one of the attached parking garages. Parking for non-guests is super affordable, costing about $5 per day (prices frequently change in Las Vegas, so you might want to contact them and ask to just make sure).

The Fremont Hotel & Casino is an example of a hotel that usually restricts its parking to guests only. While it’s not free, it is reasonably priced for parking in Las Vegas, costing about $4 per hour, with a max daily parking fee.

If you can’t find parking at any of the resorts or hotels in Downtown Las Vegas, you can find other locations in the area to park, whether you’re Downtown for an event or are just wanting to wander around the Fremont Street Experience for a bit. Several self-parking garages are located throughout the area, and street parking is available.

Street Parking in Downtown Las Vegas

Street parking is available throughout Downtown Las Vegas. These are metered spots that are strictly enforced. Be mindful of your time there, however, because Las Vegas isn’t shy about issuing parking tickets!

Most metered parking is available from 8 am until 5 pm, but it can be tough to find a spot. If you’re up for a little adventure and have some time on your hands, there are a few free street parking spots available, but you really have to search for them.

Long Term Parking

Long-term parking is also available for those that need to leave their car at the airport for longer than a few hours. Long-term parking is in high demand and is frequently at capacity. If this is the case, pay attention to signs showing overflow guests where to park.

RV Parking in Las Vegas

Circus Circus RV Park

RV parking is something that Las Vegas doesn’t have a ton of, but there are a few great spots where you can park your RV or oversized vehicle in Sin City.

The Circus Circus RV Park is one of the best for RV parking in Las Vegas if you want to stay close to all the dining, entertainment, and casinos in the major resorts.

Circus Circus is the only RV park on the Strip, and they offer affordable pricing, plus many amenities, including a pool.

Other oversized parking for anyone staying at the MGM Resorts hotels on the Strip is at the Excalibur oversized parking lot.

Free & Discounted Parking Programs

Most Strip hotels offer up to three hours of free parking for Nevada residents who provide a valid local driver’s license.

Free parking is available daily but may be limited or restricted for special events.

Some Las Vegas hotel brands offer their own rewards program that comes with a free parking perk. Caesars Entertainment Properties offer their Caesars Rewards, which provides free-of-charge self-parking and valet parking (Gold status exclude) at Caesars properties in the city.

MGM Rewards or M Life Rewards members who are Pearl Status or higher receive free self-parking at any MGM resort. Gold status or higher also receives free valet parking benefits at all MGM properties.
