Circus Circus RV Park

The Strip has long been thought of as the epicenter of Las Vegas. Although Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street are equally deserving of attention, there’s just something iconic about the Las Vegas Strip, especially at night. If you’re traveling by RV and want to avoid staying in one of the hotels, the Circus Circus RV resort offers you a great location that’s within walking distance to all the major Strip casinos, dining, and entertainment in the area. 

Other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip offer oversized parking for guests with RVs staying in one of the property’s rooms or suites. These are all essentially a giant bare parking lot with lots of space to park your oversized vehicle. What Circus Circus offers is a more traditional RV park experience, with all the hook-ups and amenities you need for a safe and enjoyable stay in your RV on the Las Vegas Strip.

At first glance, there’s nothing too miraculous about the Circus Circus RV park. Once you slip off Las Vegas Blvd, the roadway to get to the RV park is quite unassuming, especially compared to the glitzy and glamorous face that the Strip likes to put on for its guests. 

The Circus Circus RV park is best described as a big parking lot with hookups, plus a long list of amenities to make your visit to the Las Vegas Strip as enjoyable as possible. Overall, the RV park offers 170 different-length spaces, including pull-throughs and back-ins. Although the attendants will do their best to accommodate your requests, you’ll be randomly assigned a location if you don’t specify which type of lot you’re interested in. 

In general, the Circus Circus property tends to cost more than other RV parks that aren’t located on Las Vegas Blvd. Some spaces, especially larger ones and those nearest to the shade and amenities, may cost more than others. Pricing is also higher during the weekends and peak tourist times in Las Vegas. 

It is strongly recommended that you make a reservation at the Circus Circus RV park before your arrival. Guests have been able to show up unannounced and score a spot in the big parking lot, but it’s not guaranteed. Plus, you’re less likely to get your pick of a site if you show up unannounced. 

The official check-in time at the RV park is 2 PM, and checkout is at 11 AM. The RV park offers RV check-in hours between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM. If you need to make arrangements outside of these times, stop at the front desk of the Circus Circus hotel, and one of the customer service assistants will be happy to help you. 

Some people worry that an RV park on the Strip isn’t the safest spot to park your rig in Las Vegas, NV. You can rest assured that Circus Circus takes the safety and wellbeing of all of their guests very seriously, whether they’re staying in the hotel or in the RV park. The RV park is well-lit and well-maintained, and security guards patrol the property consistently throughout the day and night. 

According to reviews, more guests are put off by the appearance and presence of longer-term campers (who might have more belongings and outdoor furniture scattered about at their sites) than any complaints about suspicious activities. The Circus Circus RV park does offer monthly rates for long-term stays, but this is Las Vegas, which means the price of a month on the Strip is more than what many can afford to pay. Because of this, the presence of long-term “residents” is really kept to a minimum.

While Circus Circus offers some nice amenities for guests parking at their RV resort, there are a few details to be aware of. For starters, guests of the RV parking area are charged a resort fee, just the same as guests who stay at the hotel. The resort fee covers the cost of using all of the perks, such as wi-fi, hot tub, and more. Currently, no cable TV feeds into the RV park, so plan on using your own devices and the WI FI or internet hotspots if you want to reliably watch any television. 

The Circus Circus RV park is pet friendly, so it’s no problem bringing your furry friend along, although you might want to call ahead to see their current policy on breed restrictions. 

The RV park features a pet run for your dog to get plenty of exercise. Still, you want to keep in mind that most of the park is covered in asphalt, so nice, grassy dog areas are minimal. Circus Circus is pretty strict on guests following common courtesy rules, so you want to make sure to keep your dog on a leash in common areas, try to control noise, and always clean up your dog poop! 

If you’re looking for a bit more space to let your dog run around, you have several options for a dog park in Las Vegas. There’s even one right on Las Vegas Strip at the Vdara, but you’ll find larger, greener dog parks in the Downtown Las Vegas area. 

While there’s a seasonal pool and hot tub at the RV park, guests are also welcome to use the pool, Splash Zone water park, and slides at the Circus Circus hotel for a small fee. This is a nice option if the seasonal pools at the RV parking area are closed, or you just want to experience a bit more of that Las Vegas vacation resort vibe. 

One of the biggest perks of staying at the Circus Circus RV park is that you’re right on Strip and have easy access to all it offers. When you’re at the Circus Circus RV campground, you’re about a ten-minute walk from the hotel itself. 

Circus Circus is home to many fun and enjoyable things to do and see, including Circus Circus Adventuredome, the Circus Circus Casino, free Circus Acts at the Midway, the Splash Zone Water Park, and a handful of enjoyable restaurants, including The Steak House and Blue Iguana Mexican. If you don’t mind a little walk, there are all sorts of other entertainment and dining options to explore nearby on the Strip. 

If you’re interested in exploring more of the LV Strip but aren’t in the mood to wear out your walking shoes, there’s also a bus stop located right outside the campground. Whether by direct route or transfer, this easily accessible bus will take you just about anywhere you want to go on the Strip or downtown. 

The official address of the Circus Circus RV park is 2880 South Las Vegas Blvd. Unlike all the big hotels with their flashing lights and eye-catching architecture, the RV park is much more unassuming. After all, it’s really just a parking lot with hook-ups and some extra amenities for you to enjoy. 

There are several ways to get to the RV park, but not all of them are super friendly for larger RVs that don’t do well with tight corners. There’s a back entrance off Industrial Road that makes for a non-fussy entrance. This is located to the west of the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino. 

You can also take either Sahara Ave or Circus Circus Dr off of the Strip. Circus Circus Dr is the most direct, and you’ll see signs pointing the way. For a little less congestion, try taking the Sahara Ave route and then turning onto Sammy Davis Jr Dr toward the park. This will take you to Circus Circus drive, where the signs will lead the way. We have two words of advice – go slow, and watch out for speed bumps! 

In all honestly, the Circus Circus RV park is a simple, no-frills place to stay and park your RV on the Las Vegas Strip. However, its great location and proximity to the top entertainment, dining, and sightseeing more than compensates for its bare-bones appearance. Look for the Circus Tent front office and pull in to enjoy a great stay on the Las Vegas Strip.
