Ice skating Las Vegas-style is a great way to spend the day with friends, family, and loved ones. Whether you’re an experienced skater or have never tried it before, there is plenty of fun to be had on the ice in Sin City – even if it is in the middle of a desert!

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is known for its lavish restaurants, top-notch casinos, and luxurious guest rooms. Every holiday season, the iconic hotel offers an attraction that’s sure to become a holiday tradition for many families: an ice rink. 

To welcome the holiday season, the Cosmopolitan transforms into what can only be described as a magical winter wonderland high above the city, with the glittering lights of Las Vegas in the background as you make loops around the ice skating rink while enjoying light snowfall. 

The Cosmpolitan turns their famous Boulevard pool into an ice skating rink with more than 4,000 sq ft of ice and breathtaking views of Las Vegas. When you’re done skating in the park-like atmosphere surrounded by twinkling lights, warm up by the fire in the Chalet, where you can indulge yourself with tasty seasonal food and beverage offerings.

Think along the lines of fire pits where you can roast s’mores, hot chocolate, warm cocktails, and other tasty treats. Winter in Las Vegas never tasted so good! 

Hours & Location 

The ice skating rink at the Cosmopolitan is located at the Boulevard Pool and is open seasonally. Hours for the 2022 winter season and beyond have not yet been announced but will be posted on the Cosmopolitan website when available. 

City National Arena 

City National Arena is one of the favorite ice skating rinks in Las Vegas. This venue is open year-round and offers the opportunity to skate on real ice in a professional-level Arena.

They offer open public skate sessions for all skill levels, along with a skate school that provides lessons in figure skating, adult ice skating, and skating lessons for kids. Skate rental prices are extra.

This is also where you can see the Lil’ Knights in action! We’ve seen them play and are sure there are some future Vegas Golden Knights in the making. 

Hours & Location

Find them located on South Pavilion Center Drive in Las Vegas, NV. The ice rink is open daily from 5:30 AM – 10 PM. However, there are set hours for open skate sessions, lessons, and other events. 

Las Vegas Ice Center

Las Vegas Ice Center is a great place to grab your skates and hit the ice rink in Sin City. They offer open skate sessions, as well as being one of the more popular skate schools if you’re looking to take lessons. 

Learn to figure skate, take part in their open Stick & Puck for hockey players, or just chill on the ice making your own freestyle moves. Did we mention they also have NHL-sized ice sheets? 

The admission price for public skating includes the price of skate rentals. Skate walkers are available for a small additional fee. 

Hours & Location 

They’re located at 9295 W Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV. They’re open from 7 AM to 10 PM daily, but there is a schedule for open skating, private lessons, and other events.

The venue is also open for private events and birthday parties. 

Pepsi Ice Arena

The Pepsi Ice Arena is a no-frills ice rink area that makes for a great place to get some practice in or have fun on the ice. You don’t need any reservations to take part in their public skating, and you can rent skates if you don’t have them. Skate rentals start at just $4. 

There’s also a pro shop on-site for equipment and ice skating advice. There’s also a snack bar to grab a bite to eat, and yes, you can enjoy a nice cold Pepsi here!

Pepsi Ice Arena

The Pepsi Ice Area is located in the Fiesta Rancho Hotel on Rancho Dr in Las Vegas, NV. Hours may vary.
