January 2025 Events in Las Vegas

These Las Vegas events in January 2025 will keep the good times rolling and make for an unforgettable Sin City experience. Kick off the new year in a special way with these events, and don’t let the cooler temperatures stop your fun!

New Year’s Celebrations

If you like to celebrate New Year’s with crowds of people in a crazy, fun party environment, Las Vegas is the place to be. The Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street are closed down to traffic, and they transform into a giant party on New Year’s Eve.

The celebrations are complete with an explosive fireworks display, live concerts, and infectious energy all around.

Plus, the fun carries on until the wee hours of the morning with parties in almost every bar, nightclub, and restaurant in the city.

One thing to note is that hotels and resorts in Vegas fill up fast as the new year approaches. The sooner you book your stay, the better! Certain NYE celebrations do require tickets, like the Time of Your Life Festival on Fremont Street.

Conventions, Expos & Trade Shows

Conventions and trade shows might not be your idea of “hot Vegas fun,” but this time of year is ripe for them in Las Vegas. Many different industries call Las Vegas home for their conventions and trade shows, with January kicking off one of the busiest convention seasons.

CES Las Vegas

  • Dates: January 7 -10, 2025
  • Location: Las Vegas Convention Center
CES Las Vegas

CES (Computer Electronics Show) is considered to be one of the most influential trade shows in the tech industry. CES has taken place annually since the 1970s, with various locations across the United States, including Las Vegas. It was the 1997 CES event that took place in Las Vegas that solidified Sin City as the convention’s home for all the years to come.

CES last year brought in more than 138,000 attendees from across the globe, from 160 countries. Top exhibitors at the event included Panasonic, LG, Sierra Space, Intel, Oracle, Nvidia, and Voxx International, among others.

The main events and exhibitions are typically held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with some events sprawling out into other venues. This January trade show is huge among Las Vegas events for the month, so make sure to reserve accommodations early for the best prices.

SHOT Show

  • Dates: January 21 – 24, 2025
  • Location: Venetian Expo & Caesars Forum

SHOT Show is the largest professional event for the sport hunting, fishing, and outdoor industry in the USA. The show has live product demonstrations, exhibitions, and exciting activities for outdoor enthusiasts.

This show is not open to the public – it’s restricted to professionals in the trade, as well as commercial buyers and sellers of the relevant products and technologies.

World of Concrete

World of Concrete convention
  • Dates: January 21-23
  • Location: Las Vegas Convention Center

More than 60,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the World of Concrete 2025. This is an excellent networking opportunity for people in the field, but it’s also a learning opportunity! Attend a 3 or 4-hour certification seminar or workshop to further your concrete expertise.

World of Concrete is another industry-only trade show, meaning it is not open to the public. More industry-only shows in January 2024 include:

  • PPAI
  • International Surface Event
  • Glass Vegas
  • Total Products Expo
  • Fancy Food Show

AVN Adult Expo

  • Dates: January 22-25, 2025
  • Location: Resorts World Las Vegas

AVN Adult Expo is the world’s largest adult entertainment convention, so it’s no surprise it’s hosted in Sin City! More than 5,000 adult entertainers will attend the event, and many are happy to mingle with fans. This is, obviously, an adults-only event.

The event is open to the public with the purchase of a ticket. The expo features hundreds of vendors selling adult entertainment, toys, lingerie, and so much more.
