About Wynn’s Golf Course

Wynn’s Golf Course is the only casino resort golf course on the Vegas Strip. It is a 6,722-yard, par 70 18-hole championship course full of dramatic elevation changes, contoured fairways, over 8,000 trees, three lakes, and several meandering streams.

More than 400,000 cubic yards of earth were moved to create the elevation changes, which is a stark contrast to the rest of the Las Vegas Strip. The property was once the Desert Inn Golf Club and about 1,200 of the trees from that history still remain.

Golfers will encounter water on 12 of the 18 holes, including two marshland areas that are fed by natural groundwater. The layout truly makes it a bucket list to play on for all skill levels.

Architect

Tom Fazio, a legendary architect, was the original designer of the Wynn’s Golf Club back in 2005. Tom Fazio is also the designer of Shadow Creek, a well-known course in Northern Las Vegas.

Now, with the recent renovation and complete design change at Wynn’s Golf Club, Tom Fazio led the charge again, this time with his son, Logan Fazio, and the owner of Wynn Las Vegas, Steve Wynn.

Together they have created a truly unique experience. In the project, they created eight new holes while refurbishing the other 10. There are six par threes, including the final hole, where the green is laid beneath a roaring waterfall. Several water features dot the landscape, though arguably none are as picturesque as the 18th hole.

Amenities

The Golf Club is amenity-packed. They have a professional caddie program featuring PGA-member caddies, full-service locker rooms for men and women, electric golf carts that come completely stocked with beverages, an all-new practice putting green, and a netted full-swing warm-up area. You can also get fantastic food at one of the restaurants on the course as well.

Wynn Pro Shop

The Wynn Pro Shop is located on the Fairway Esplanade and has plenty of apparel for both men and women, equipment, shoes, and more. The pro shop is luxury compared to those available at other courses.

Rentals & Lessons

Though all skill levels are welcome, there are no lessons available. However, you can get complimentary rental clubs, which is a nice amenity. Individuals with less experience may want to consider grabbing some rental clubs and hitting the new practice putting green or warm-up area first to hone their skills before their tee time.

Greens Fees

Wynn Golf Course Green Fees

The greens fees are in the range of the most exclusive golf courses in the nation, coming in at over $500 for a round of 18 holes.

Now that may seem excessive for the average golfer, but it is important to consider what you are getting for the price. For one, the clubs are included. Plus, the course is right outside your hotel room if you stay at the Wynn Las Vegas. You also are playing on a championship course frequented by some of the best golfers in the world.

Overall, for the experience of playing a picturesque course in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, the cost can be justified a bit. Still, be prepared to shell out a chunk of change for a tee time.

  1. I recently visited the pro shop and there was a White Wynn golf hat on display in the Glass display in the foyer.Do you have online purchases?

    1. There doesn’t seem to be an option to order the hat online, but there are quite a few people reselling the hat on eBay. Otherwise, you’ll have to return to the shop to purchase.
