Best Western Las Vegas Strip

The Best Western Las Vegas Strip is the perfect place to stay if you want a simple hotel with a great location – and you don’t want to pay premium Las Vegas resort prices.

Best Western Plus Casino Royale offers clean, safe, and comfortable rooms, a fun casino, and close proximity to everything that’s happening on the central Strip.

Best Western is typically touted as a great place for business travelers, and we don’t disagree with this.

However, we also think this is a really good budget option for couples, small groups of friends, or small families that want the Las Vegas experience without paying Sin City prices.

Rooms & Suites

Guest rooms and suites at Best Western Plus Casino Royale are clean, mostly renovated, and feature modern amenities. The Standard Room, both with two beds or a single king, is a nice room for a business traveler, couple, or close friends. The rooms are overly huge, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Amenities in the guest rooms include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a coffee machine, a mini refrigerator, soundproof windows, and more. You don’t really appreciate soundproof windows until you’ve stayed somewhere like the Strip!

For us, the fridge and coffee maker were a blessing. Many hotels don’t have them, or they charge extra if you request them. They’d much rather make money off of guests going to on-site coffee shops and not purchasing perishable foods to keep in their rooms.

The average nightly price may vary depending on if there are any big events in Las Vegas, and prices will be higher on weekends and during peak travel times. The average nightly price is about $100, give or take, but you can find room deals that make it more affordable if you plan ahead. Extra beds may be available upon request.

Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip features several styles of rooms and suites, including:

  • Standard Double Room
  • Standard King Room
  • Junior Suite
  • King Suite

Accessible Rooms

For guests who need accommodations, Best Western Plus Casino Royale offers a handful of accessible rooms. Honestly, there aren’t many accessible rooms here, so contact the hotel as soon as you know you’ll be heading to Las Vegas and make your reservation.

The accessible rooms include features such as:

  • Easy access ramps
  • Shower rails
  • Bathtub seat upon request
  • Raised toilet
  • Visual alarms
  • Accessible mini fridges
  • Free internet access

Dining

Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip location isn’t a place where you’re going to find a trendy culinary scene with award-winning restaurants and Michelin Star chefs. Don’t worry, though. There is plenty of that right down the street in any one of a number of major Las Vegas resorts.

But, if you’re looking for reliable, well-known favorites, fast food, and snack options, then Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip has several restaurants on site that will meet your needs. Plus, many of them are open 24/7.

Denny’s

Denny’s Las Vegas

Everyone knows Denny’s and probably has a story or two to tell from their college or bar-hopping days of late-night Denny’s adventures. They’re still around, serving reliable favorites like Moons Over My Hammy. Denny’s is also a favorite coffee shop at 3 am after coming from the casino!

Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steak is known around the country for their Aussie-tizers like their Bloomin Onion, coconut shrimp, and, of course, the steak! There are lots of great steakhouses in Las Vegas, but Outback is never hurting for business here!

Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut

Everyone’s favorite pizza place has a location on-site at Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip. Thin crust, deep dish, pepperoni? The pizza is always reliably good.

Hash House A Go Go

Hash House A Go Go

Hash House A Go Go isn’t actually at Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip, but it’s adjacent to it, so we say it’s close enough! If you’re not familiar with Hash House a Go Go, this is where you can feast on a massive dish of freshly made French toast, chicken & waffles, and really good elevated diner-style food.

Quick Eats

There are other fast, easier options for something to eat at Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip. Whether you just want to grab something from a snack bar or, need to satisfy your fast food White Castle cravings or order your favorite Subway sandwich, you have options.

Bars & Nightlife

Bars & Nightlife at Best Western Las Vegas Strip

If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Strip but also want to avoid the crowds of weekend partiers, Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip isn’t a bad option. The casino is high-energy, but as far as the bar scene goes, there’s not a lot going on here. Guests can enjoy drinks while at the casino or at the newly renovated hotel bar. There’s also a Fat Tuesdays on site with a great lineup of boozy, frozen drinks.

Pool

Best Western Las Vegas Pool

For many travelers, us included, one of the most important property amenities is a swimming pool. Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip offers an outdoor pool for hotel guests to enjoy.

The Best Western swimming pool is small by Las Vegas standards. There’s a limited number of lounge chairs, and we didn’t see any cabanas or daybeds, but what we did see was a really clean, well-kept-up pool area that was relaxing to spend the day at.

Fitness Center

Best Western Las Vegas Fitness Center

Best Western offers a 24-hour fitness center on-site at the hotel. This is great for business travelers who want to keep up their fitness routines while traveling, but really for anyone who doesn’t want to let all their hard work slip just because they’re on vacation in Sin City.

Casino

Best Western Las Vegas Strip Casino

The first thing we noticed as soon as we walked into Casino Royale was all the colorful, blinking lights and fun atmosphere. Casino Royale is a classic, and you can tell from the moment you enter that it was designed before many of the casinos at other major resorts on the Strip.

Casino Royale is a little more packed than other Las Vegas casinos. It definitely has a busy vibe, even if there aren’t many people sitting at the slots and electric games – which they have tons of. There are live table games with low-limit tables, so you don’t need to feel intimidated by the high rollers if you’re new to casino gaming.

Hotel Policies

Check-In & Check-Out Times

Check-in time at Best Western Plus Casino Royale on the Strip is 4 pm, with check-out time being 11 am on the day of your departure. If you have special requests regarding an early check-in or late departure, contact the helpful staff at the hotel front desk. We’ve found them to be accommodating, as long as it wasn’t a super busy peak time on the Strip.

Resort Fee

The Best Western Casino Royale hotel offers zero resort fees, which is something that’s rare in Las Vegas. This means that the price you see advertised for the room is the actual price, plus taxes and other fees, without needing to worry about an extra $25-$50 being tacked on.

Pet Policy

Currently, Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip location does not allow pets on the property. There are other pet-friendly hotels in Las Vegas, although you may end up paying a bit more, especially if you want to stay on the Center Strip. There’s also usually a hefty per-night pet fee, which can almost double the cost of the room at some hotels.

Service animals are an exception to the no-pet policy, but you’ll want to let the front desk know ahead of check-in so that they can set you up with the most suitable room or suite, including if you need an accessible room.

Smoking

Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip offers non-smoking rooms for their guests. The last we knew, all of their rooms were non-smoking, but definitely check with the front desk if that’s their current policy when making your reservation. Smoking policies are an area of the Las Vegas hospitality industry that seems to be changing frequently.

The hotel does still allow smoking in Casino Royale and other areas in and around the hotel.

Parking

Best Western Las Vegas Strip Casino Parking

Free parking on the Las Vegas Strip? Yes, please! Best Western Casino Royale offers 100% free parking for their guests. This isn’t the fanciest parking area on the Las Vegas Strip, but free is a really good deal.

Oversized Parking

Best Western Plus Casino Royale does offer oversized RV parking. Check with the front desk staff regarding availability before you arrive. You don’t want to show up and find out that all the oversized spaces have been taken.

Nearby Attractions

The main perk of staying at Best Western Plus Casino Royale Center Strip, aside from the budget-friendly pricing, is that it offers an excellent location that’s close to so much on the Strip. Even if you don’t feel like walking, you’re about a five-minute cab ride from anywhere on the central busy Strip. It’s also easy to get into downtown Las Vegas if you want to spend some time experiencing the Fremont Street Experience and all the great restaurants and attractions of the Downtown area.

For business travelers, the close proximity to the Venetian Expo (formerly the Sands Expo Convention Center) is a major plus. This Best Western location is also close to the City Center and super fun attractions, like the High Roller and Bellagio fountains.
