Dawg House Saloon & Sports Book

Dawg House Saloon traces its roots back to Nashville’s Music Row, where the original location was established. Though it has since expanded to Las Vegas on the Resorts World property, it remains reminiscent of a classic Nashville sports bar.

The classic Nashville sports bar is a fun atmosphere of amazing food, live music, dancing, sports, and customer service. Dawg House Saloon Las Vegas boasts more than 15,000 square feet and caters to those 21 and older.

Dawg House  Menu

The Dawg House Saloon serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to the full-service restaurant, they have a full bar and a food truck called Mouse House available.

On the breakfast menu, you’ll find breakfast sandwiches, large plates, extras, and drink specials.

The breakfast sandwiches include selections such as the Wake and Bake with bacon, eggs, and cheese on a brioche bun; Caprese with heirloom tomato, burrata, basil, and two fried eggs all on herb ciabatta bread; and the Dawghouse Saloon version of avocado toast. All of the breakfast sandwiches are served with tater tots.

Large plates offer selections like Nashville Chicken & Waffles, which are an ode to the original location on Nashville’s Music Row, Biscuits & Gravy, and a Smoked Salmon Platter.

Extras

Hash tots, which are loaded tater tots, and bacon are both extras that can be added to any order.

Drinks

When it comes to having a drink or two, during breakfast time, carafes of Bloody Mary or mimosas are available, as well as bottomless mimosas and The Hair of the Dog, which is a Bloody Mary with a triple shot of vodka and a meat and cheese skewer.

The breakfast menu is provided by the food truck within Dawg House Saloon – the Mouse House – and ranges in price from just under $15 up to around $25.

All-Day Menu

The all-day menu consists of classic American pub fare with a Southern Twist.

Start out with some Smoked Chicken Wings, Bacon Candy, or Nachos during lunch or dinner. Other starters perfect for snacking while watching the game include Buffalo Cauliflower, Smoked Tuna Dip, Smoked Sausage Platter, or Nashville Hot Chicken Bites.

Entrees are divided into hot dogs (Dawgs), soups & salads, burgers, and sandwiches.

Try the Chopped Salad with Smoky French Onion Soup, the Aloha Dawg that has pineapple relish, bacon, and scallion, or the Poodle Burger, which is topped with cherry peppers, mushrooms, and spicy queso.

If you are in the mood for a sandwich, the Nashville Hot Chicken embraces the roots of the original location on Nashville’s Music Row, while the 10-ounce Ribeye Sandwich is reminiscent of the over-the-top experience Las Vegas is known for. All of the burgers, dogs, and sandwiches are served with the infamous Dawg House Saloon tater tots.

Pricing of the all-day menu ranges from $10 to $35, depending on your sections.

Drinks

Dawg House Saloon offers a full bar with everything you expect. However, the specialty cocktails such as the Southern Belle Smash with Jack Daniel’s, peach nectar, and citrus soda and The NashVegas with rye, peach whiskey, orange, and bourbon cherry are a fun and fresh take on more traditional drink menus.

For the kids, their specialty juice and sodas are a favorite.

Dawg House Reviews

Though Dawg House Saloon won the title of Sports Bar of the Year in 2022 by the Industry Excellence Awards, recent reviews are mixed.

Negative Reviews

One review states they heard staff complaining to a friend about how busy the restaurant was and having to work long shifts while the patrons were sitting at a table watching a sports game. Others have complained about how much money the sports bar charges for the quality of the food.

Positive Reviews

On the more positive side, the review points out that Dawg House Saloon honestly offers more than other sports bars, has plenty of room for dancing and plenty of places to sit, and the servers are knowledgeable and friendly.

Patrons also boast about the selection of draft beers, the location next to the casino, and the ability to watch their favorite game. There’s even a review stating how much the server saved them money with their suggestions.

It seems your experience or service may rest on the day of the week you visit your expectations of a classic Nashville sports bar.

  1. What night is karaoke and how much a bottle of beer? Is there a karaoke night on regular schedule? Crowd size and hours of karaoke?

    1. There is no karaoke at Dawg House. They do have live music Tuesday – Sunday. I just called for beer prices today and found the bottles range from $10.50 – $14/each.
