Delano Las Vegas is a non-gaming, all-suite boutique hotel offering a new Las Vegas experience. If you’re familiar with MGM Resorts International Properties, you already have an idea of what to expect.
In our opinion, Delano is an all-suite retreat that was designed for the discerning traveler who wants a great location on the Las Vegas Strip but doesn’t want to deal with the traffic and noise that’s so common at similar hotels.

Delano Suites
Delano King Suite
The King Suites are a refreshing retreat from the hecticness of Las Vegas. The decor is fresh and modern, featuring mostly white with a few modern accents. These hotel rooms measure 725 sq ft and feature a separate living area, floor-to-ceiling windows, overstuffed headboards, and spa-style baths. Extra beds may be available upon request.
The Delano King Suite features a single bed and accommodates up to three guests. This room is available in three options:
- Standard Delano King Suite
- Delano King Strip View
- Delano Stadium View
Delano Two Queen Suite
The Delano Two Queens Suite is designed exactly the same as the king suite, except with the obvious difference of two queen beds rather than a single king. The same refreshing color scheme is throughout, and the suite offers a separate living room, a private bathroom with spa-style soaking tub, and a fully stocked mini-bar, with water and coffee available for an additional cost upon request.
The Delano Queen Suite sleeps a maximum of four guests and is available in:
- Standard Delano Queen Suite
- Delano Queen Strip View
- Delano Queen Stadium View
Delano Scenic Suite
What sets the Delano Scenic Suite apart from other hotel rooms is the magnificent view. It’s still on the small side for a suite, measuring 741 sq ft, but the view is comparable to what you’d find in larger, more expensive suites on the Strip. Delano describes this suite as a picturesque escape, and we can’t find a reason to argue with that.
The Delano Scenic Suite features a single king bed, a private bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower and spa-style tub, plush robes, a mini bar, and more. It sleeps a maximum of two guests.
Delano Two Bedroom Suite
This unique configuration includes a Delano Queen Suite that’s partnered with an additional king bedroom. In rooms like this at other hotels, it’s usually the king bedroom that’s the largest, but that isn’t the case here. Either way, there’s plenty of space for up to six guests, with a spacious separate living space.
Delano Penthouse Suite
The Delano offers a collection of penthouse suites, each being an exclusive retreat for discerning guests. These aren’t the types of rooms that you can book online. Instead, you need to contact the hotel directly at their luxury reservations line, which is 844.789.7792.
Each style of Penthouse Suite is different, but they measure between 1516 sq ft and 2060 sq ft. The decor throughout each is neutral, refreshing, and modern. Amenities include large seating areas, stocked wet bars, dining area, and more.
- Delano Penthouse Panoramic Suite – 1516 sq ft, single king bed, accommodates up to ten guests.
- Delano Penthouse CityView Suite – 2050 sq ft, single king bed, accommodates up to eight guests
- Delano Penthouse Premier Suite – 2060 sq ft, single king bed, accommodates up to eight guests
- Delano Penthouse Superior Suite – 1642 sq ft, single king bed, accommodates up to two guests
Delano Loft
The Delano Loft is the ultimate in accommodations. This exclusive retreat comes with personalized services and amenities such as a wellness room, library, pool table, powder rooms, full-size kitchen, and more.
Examples of unparalleled service with the Delano loft include airport transportation, personalized concierge services, complimentary access to the Bathhouse spa, and VIP lounge access.
The Delano Loft measures 4500 sq ft and accommodates a maximum of four guests.
Delano StayWell
MGM Resorts offers guests the option of StayWell rooms and suites. StayWell rooms offer additional amenities for health and wellness. This includes details like enhanced air purification, non-toxic cleaning protocols, shower infusers, access to wellness publications, and more. If you’re like us and your immune system seems to take a hit when you travel, the StayWell rooms are a nice option.
Dining
The dining scene at Delano Las Vegas isn’t huge, but between a wonderful Italian restaurant, farm-fresh breakfast, and a great coffee shop, we can’t complain. If you’re looking for something that Delano doesn’t have,
Rivea
Rivea is an Italian-inspired restaurant with seasonal specialties centered on delicious regional cuisine. The menu isn’t overly complicated, but everything we’ve ever tried here has been delicious.
We’ve enjoyed a beautiful view of the valley while dining on delicious dishes, such as burrata and heritage tomatoes with olive oil, provencal caponata, and wild halibut with baby artichokes. All elegant dishes that have been beautifully prepared.
Hours
Rivea is open daily from 5:30 pm until 10 pm. Upscale casual attire is expected.
Della’s Kitchen
Sometimes, you just really crave a delicious, fresh, down-home breakfast when you’re in Las Vegas. Della’s Kitchen is the answer. This is modern farmhouse fare with a touch of urban modern flare. The menu leans heavily toward breakfast items, but there are a few sandwiches and salads on the menu that are perfect for lunch,
Hours
Della’s Kitchen is open Monday and Thursday from 7 am until 1 pm and 7 am until 2 pm from Friday through Sunday. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
3940 Coffee and Tea
We like that we don’t need to stumble around groggily in Las Vegas looking for a great coffee shop when staying at Delano. They already have the perfect option right there with 3940 Coffee and Tea.
Enjoy coffee, tea, smoothies, pastries, and light breakfast options. You can enjoy it there or take your picks to go.
Hours
3940 Coffee and Tea is open daily from 6 am until 1 pm. The dress code is casual.
Bars & Nightlife
Skyfall Lounge
The Skyfall Lounge at Delano is one of the most elegant cocktail lounges in Las Vegas, at least in our opinion. It’s located on the 64th floor of Delano and offers the most unforgettable view of the Las Vegas skyline at night.
The ambiance is seductive, and the drink menu features wonderful signature cocktails, including a menu of virgin cocktails, which is something we don’t see much of in Las Vegas. Once the DJ enters the picture, a lively atmosphere can be found. There’s also patio seating, which is a must if you get the chance.
Skyfall Lounge is open every evening from 5 pm until midnight. Upscale casual dress is expected.
Franklin Lounge
Delano knows how to do swanky lounges, and if you want an atmosphere that’s sophisticated but doesn’t feel up to the vibe at Skyfall, then Franklin Lounge is a great alternative.
Delano ushers in the modern cocktail scene with this lounge. We enjoy a cocktail or two here before a show, and they also offer appetizers for a light nibble.
The lounge is open daily from 2 pm until midnight, and upscale casual attire is expected.
Shows & Entertainment
Due to its size and elevated, relaxed vibe, Delano Las Vegas does not host its own shows like the other big resorts on the Strip. However, since it’s so close to
Mandalay Bay offers shows & attractions including:
- Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil
- House of Blues Music Hall
- Shark Reef Aquarium
- Various events at Michelob Ultra Arena
Pool & Delano Beach Club
Guests at Delano Las Vegas have exclusive access to the Delano Beach Club. This is a luxurious pool club that offers personalized service, relaxing chaise lounges, a submerged chess board, and more. Honestly, it’s one of our favorite property amenities.
And what happens if you’d like a pool experience that’s not quite as laid back? Delano guests are welcome to use the pool complex at
Spa & Fitness Center
Delano Las Vegas is home to the Bathhouse Spa, which is a luxurious retreat that will leave you with a fresh sense of relaxation from the moment you walk through the doors. We love the ambiance of this spa, with its warm tones, dim lights, steam rooms, saunas, and treatment rooms. A long massage or full body treatment is just what’s needed for the most indulgent time in Las Vegas.
The Bathhouse Spa is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday but is open every other day of the week from 8:30 am until 5 pm.
Guests who are over the age of 18 are also welcome to use the Delano fitness center. This is a modern cardio room. It’s not super large, but it has everything needed to get in a good workout before hitting the Las Vegas Strip.
