  1. Can you visit the pool with your kids if you’re staying at a different hotel? If so how much does it cost?

    Thanks

    1. You do not need to be a hotel guest to visit the Excalibur pool, but there is free seating for guests. You may need to reserve a seat.

    1. At least one of the pools is heated and open year round. In October, all of the pools may be open, it just depends on the weather.

  2. Is the slide open during the week over the summer? Want to rent a cabana but no point if my kids can’t use the slide.

    1. Unfortunately, Excalibur doesn’t have detailed info on when the water slide is open. Some reviewers have said the water slide pool was closed on weekdays, while other said it was open regardless of the day of the week.
I’d recommend contacting Excalibur before booking the cabana to inquire about the specific dates of your stay.

    1. Smoking sections can be found throughout Excalibur. While we can’t say definitively if there’s a smoking section in the pool area, there’s sure to be one nearby.
You can ask an employee about smoking areas at the resort during check-in for more details.

  3. Okay, but which pool is actually the adult pool? Paid a lot of money for a cabana last time and due to the wind, two of the pools were closed so the Royal pool we booked at was full of nasty children and ruined our experience. Would it otherwise be the Royal if there’s no closures.

  4. Is the pool usually open in April? We are looking to visit the 5th-10th with kids, so hoping the pool is open in April. Thanks!

    1. Not usually. The pool schedule varies by weather but usually closes mid October and reopens for March Madness and spring break in March, then closes until May. So you probably can’t plan on the pool being open in April. But if the weather is warm they will open up.

  5. I’m planning on a trip to Vegas in the end of October, are the pools open at your hotel at that time? October 30-November 5th for the SEMA show. Please advise.
