Excalibur Hotel is the 6th largest hotel in Las Vegas. Located on the Las Vegas Strip, it’s impossible to miss Excalibur Hotel thanks to the eye-catching castle design. You’ll feel like you’re arriving at a medieval castle only to be met with a stunning modern interior. It has a stunning presence, but where on earth can you find the Excalibur parking facilities?

Whether you’re visiting the hotel and casino for a bit of gambling or staying as a hotel guest, knowing what to expect from the Excalibur parking facilities before you arrive will make for a stress-free experience.

Valet Parking

The valet parking fee at Excalibur Hotel is higher Friday – Sunday than the rest of the week. No matter what day of the week it is, you’ll be charged based on how long you stay parked at the hotel.

Valet parking rates can be charged for 0-2 hours, 2-4 hours, 4-24 hours, and each additional 24-hour period.

Gold, Platinum, and Noir MGM Rewards members receive free valet parking at Excalibur Hotel!

Registered hotel guests can have the valet parking fee charged directly to their room to keep things simple and easy.

Drop Off 

Dropping off your car for valet parking at Excalibur is simple since there’s only one parking station for the hotel. The main entrance, located off Las Vegas Boulevard, has a valet desk. Just go to the desk and wait to be served.

The valet will take your keys and give you a valet parking slip. Keep this slip!

Pick Up

When it’s time to pick up your car, go to the valet desk with your parking slip. This tells the valet which car to retrieve and how much you should be charged.

Valet pickup times vary depending on how busy the hotel and casino are, but it usually takes 5-15 minutes. Be sure to budget a little extra time for the valet wait in your schedule if you need to be somewhere at a specific time.

Excalibur Self Parking

Excalibur Hotel offers self-parking on every side of the resort! The two covered parking garages are located at the back of the resort. One garage has ten floors with 3,000 parking spots, while the other has just three levels. 

Excalibur Hotel is an MGM Resorts property. This means that if you pay for a full day of parking at Excalibur, you can park at other MGM Resort properties during the same day at no added cost! MGM Resort hotels include New York, New York, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, and ARIA.

Anyone parking can enjoy the first hour free. Nevada residents can park for free for three hours.

While hotel guests pay the same rate for the same parking type as non-hotel guests, they do get one major perk. In-out privileges make it free for guests to go to and from the self-parking area at Excalibur hotel and other properties owned by MGM Resorts. 

Using your hotel key card, you can self-park at any MGM Property without incurring additional fees. This perk is covered by part of the resort fee you pay to stay at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. 

The parking fee depends on how long you’re parked. Parking fees are charged for 1-4 hours, 4-24 hours, and each additional day. If you’re a hotel guest, the parking fee will be charged to your room.

Does Excalibur Have Free Parking?

Excalibur Hotel does not offer complimentary parking. Even hotel guests have to pay to use the parking garage, but there is a way to get free self-parking at the hotel and casino.

If you’re an MGM Rewards card member with a Pearl, Gold, Platinum, or Noir rewards level, self-parking is free at all MGM Resorts properties! You can increase your rewards status by staying, gambling, and dining at MGM properties. Getting above the base level is surprisingly easy, and you’ll save a fortune in parking fees!

MGM rewards Mastercard holders get free parking at Excalibur Hotel too. 

Free Parking Near Excalibur

If you don’t mind walking, you can easily find parking you don’t have to pay for near Excalibur. Tropicana is right across The Strip and offers complimentary self-parking for anyone, even non-hotel guests. There’s even a pedestrian bridge that connects from the parking garage at Tropicana to Excalibur!

The only time parking at Tropicana does not offer complimentary parking is during large events at the T-Mobile Arena

Another no-cost option within walking distance of Excalibur Hotel is OYO Hotel and Casino. This hotel is to the east, not technically on the Strip. It’s an easy, well-lit 10-minute walk to Excalibur Hotel, and parking at OYO is always free.

Oversized Parking

Oversized Parking at Excalibur Hotel

Excalibur Hotel is one of the few spots you’ll find oversized parking on The Strip. Unfortunately, oversized parking has limited availability. Parking spots are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. 

Guests from other MGM Resort properties are directed to use the Excalibur Hotel for oversized vehicles too. Unfortunately, spots can’t be reserved ahead of time, but you can call before arrival to ask about current availability.

Oversized parking spots are charged at a flat rate per 24 hours, depending on the size of the vehicle. For example, vehicles less than 30 feet cost $30 per 24 hours and $50 for vehicles 50 over 50 feet long.
