If you’re searching for incredible lesbian bars, Las Vegas is one of the best cities you can visit! The Las Vegas Strip and Downtown have plenty of gay bars and lesbian-friendly events to keep you busy any night of the week.

While a lot of Las Vegas gay bars focus more on gay men, we wanted to share the best spots in the city for lesbian tourists and locals to relax in a welcoming space and fun environment!
Lesbian Bars on the Strip
Temptation Sundays at Luxor

Luxor is home to the longest-running LGBTQIA+ pool party in Las Vegas, NV. Instead of opening a gay bar at Luxor, MGM Resorts decided to utilize the existing Luxor Pool one night a week for unforgettable pool parties. Everyone 21 and older is welcome to come and be their authentic selves and let loose in a supportive environment every Sunday during pool season.
We love this event because you don’t feel like you’re at a gay-specific bar; you just feel comfortable and have a lot of fun! Luxor is also among the top supporters of the Vegas Pride events.
Liquid Drag Brunch

Senor Frog’s at Treasure Island Hotel not only serves tasty brunch, but they also have entertaining drag events with bottomless mimosas! Diners get to enjoy a brunch buffet and watch 75 minutes of drag performances. Seating cannot be reserved in advance, so we recommend arriving about an hour before the brunch begins.
A drag brunch may not be lesbian-specific, but drag shows welcome anyone and everyone to join the fun, so you’ll fit right in. Senor Frogs also hosts RuPaul’s Drag Race fandom-themed events when a new season is airing on TV.
Dino’s Lounge

Dino’s Lounge is not a gay bar, but it’s very welcoming for lesbians and other members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The lounge has a classic dive-bar feel with pool tables, cheap drinks, and awesome karaoke nights. This is a super-casual bar that is right up our alley!
Lesbian Bars Off the Strip
Freezone

We know that a lot of gay bars tend to be marketed towards gay men specifically, but that’s not the case at Freezone. Anyone who’s been to Freezone knows it’s inclusive for everyone! There are theme nights throughout the week, like Thirsty Thursdays and Drag Competition Wednesdays. Live entertainment, a diverse staff, and delicious cocktails make Freezone one of the best spots for all LGBTQIA+ people in Vegas.
Head to the dance floor, mingle at the bar, or take in the scenery (if you know what we mean…wink, wink) at Freezone in the heart of the Fruit Loop District.
Las Vegas Eagle

The Las Vegas Eagle is the perfect spot if you want a casual night out with the local crowd. The LGBTQ-friendly bar sits in Tropicana Plaza. To keep things fresh, the Las Vegas Eagle has plenty of theme nights and monthly events, including leather nights, drag shows, and karaoke nights.
The drinks here are casual, too, so don’t come expecting craft cocktails with inventive recipes, but the liquor selection is good!
Badlands Las Vegas

Badlands is one of the few country-themed gay bars in Las Vegas. The bar is located in old Las Vegas and gets you out of the mainstream tourist areas. Badlands is welcoming to all, with ladies’ nights, weekend drag nights on Fridays, and trivia competitions. There’s even line dancing to really get you in the mood for country music.
Piranha Nightclub

Piranha Nightclub sits at the front of the Fruit Loop District, and we must say, it’s a great way to set the tone for the area. The club is lively and energetic every day of the week. Piranha is best known for having an incredibly diverse crowd with all types of LGBTQ+ people in the mix.
The nightclub has been open since 2006 and continues to be one of the best gay bars in Vegas, according to The Review-Journal.
Hamburger Mary’s

Hamburger Mary’s is more than just a gay bar. It’s the campy queer burger joint of your dreams! Hamburger Mary’s has a full bar and kitchen with incredible food. The cocktails are even better, and the overall vibe of the place is unique in the best way.
On the weekends, Mary’s gospel brunch buffet is a great way to get your mimosa fix and be entertained at the same time.
The Phoenix Bar and Lounge

The Phoenix Bar and Lounge, formerly known as Escape Lounge, is a must-try LGBTQ+ bar in Las Vegas, NV. It even won the “best gay bar for everyone in Las Vegas” by Las Vegas Weekly in 2015. The Phoenix has weekly video game tournaments, pool tables, darts, daily drink specials, and outdoor patio space.
Don’t Tell Mama

This is the only gay bar on our list that caters primarily to lesbians, but of course, anyone accepting of the LGBTQ community is welcome. In addition, the downtown piano bar encourages patrons and staff to join in on the karaoke fun. One thing is for sure, a night at Don’t Tell Mama will be a memorable one!
The Griffin

The Griffin is another gay bar located in downtown Las Vegas, NV. The atmosphere is casual and cozy, with dim lighting, indoor fire pits, and a jukebox. The Griffin isn’t lesbian-specific, so this is a great spot to come with friends! Everyone will surely find someone matching their preferences in The Griffin’s eclectic crowd.
Artifice

Artifice holds the title of the longest-standing LGBTQ+-friendly bar in the DTLV Arts District. It’s an impressive space with 3,400 square feet and three large rooms to discover. Artifice has lots of great events like painting nights and photography nights with live models. There’s even a goth night every week!
The Garden

The Garden is another spot in the Arts District that welcomes the LGBTQ community. There’s an indoor lounge as well as garden seating, but garden seating fills up fast. The menu has everything from craft cocktails to small bites, but brunch is where real excitement starts!
Bottomless drag brunch at The Garden happens on weekends with line-ups of some of Vegas’s most talented drag queens.
Gold Spike

Gold Spike is not LGBTQ-specific, but it is very LGBTQ-friendly! The large venue has lively crowds, loud music, and games to keep you entertained. We love the reasonable drink prices and excellent customer service at Gold Spike, and so do many more regular customers.
An added bonus is a full kitchen on-site that serves classic bar food.
Las Vegas Pride Celebration 2023
Pride is a big deal in Las Vegas. The over-the-top celebrations show pride in a big way that welcomes tourists and locals alike. There are two major parts of the 2023 pride celebration.
First is the Pride Festival. The pride festival is an event with a little bit of everything. There are vendors selling LGBTQIA+ merchandise, live entertainment, guest appearances, and some incredibly bold fashion!
2023 marks the 40th annual Pride Festival, so it’s expected to be a year to remember. The festival is held at Craig Ranch Regional Park and is open to all ages!
The second, and our personal favorite, pride celebration is the Las Vegas Pride Parade. In true Las Vegas fashion, the parade takes place at night. Pre-show festivities begin at 6 PM in downtown Vegas, but you’ll need a ticket to enter.
The parade is free and begins at 7 PM with a block party at Bridger Ave and 4th Street. The 2023 parade will be hosted by Ricky Cornish and Andrew Ryan.
