Though there are many festivals that draw large crowds in Las Vegas, Viva Las Vegas is one of the most popular festivals every year. Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend is a four-day 50s-style festival that includes everything from a car show, musical performers, burlesque show, pool party, bowling, dancing, and more.

Rockabilly Weekend

Viva Las Vegas celebrates all things Rockabilly, is the longest-running music festival in Las Vegas, and is the largest rockabilly event in the world. Whether you like rockabilly music, pin-up, burlesque, or even cars, there is something for everyone at this Las Vegas Rockabilly weekender. 

Viva Las Vegas, or VLV, began 26 years ago and was founded by Tom Ingram, who has been a DJ for 45 years and music festival organizer for the last 30 years.

He has been vital to the VLV event each year and has been highly recognized in the community and even by the mayor of Las Vegas for his contributions and for putting VLV on Las Vegas music calendars. 

Events

There are several events other than just music. Though it does have the best rockabilly music, this festival features more, such as a large car show with hot rods, a pin-up contest, a vintage fashion show, a pool party, burlesque events like burlesque bingo, bowling, dancing, and Deke’s Guitar Geek Show. 

There is even a tattoo room if the inspiration strikes! Of course, the festival also has vendors, will host several weddings throughout the weekend, and meet-ups with some of the best in rockabilly.

Tickets

Tickets for the festival have different levels, each of which grants you access to different things. For instance, you can buy the High Roller tickets which give you admission to any and all events for $250.

There are other step-down levels from there that fit into different budgets and provide access to various parts of the festival.

  • High Roller Pass (All Access): $250
  • Classic Pass (Car show only Thurs, Fri, Sat): $65
  • Hot Rodder (Car show only Saturday only): $45
