The Orleans Las Vegas is an off-Strip, family-friendly hotel that’s within walking distance of fabulous Las Vegas Blvd. While you don’t hear about Orleans Hotel & Casino as much as you do the other big hotels in Las Vegas, this is a spot that offers a great location, nice rooms & Suites, a great casino, and the perfect number of dining options.
So, while it might seem that only travelers in the know stay at the Orleans Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, we’ve found the hotel to offer all-around great value. Here’s our review.
Rooms & Suites
All of the rooms and suites at Orleans Hotel & Casino Las Vegas offer great amenities to help you enjoy your stay. There are, of course, the standards like air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi, but also 24-hour room service and more. Extra beds are available upon request.
The WiFi that’s included with the room is basic internet. For $10 more per night, you can have access to elite internet access, which is 10+mbps.
Accessible rooms with amenities like a roll-in shower are available upon request. Check with the front desk for availability.
If you’d like to see the rooms before you choose, go to the website and check out the Orleans Hotel & Casino photo gallery for each room or suite.
Deluxe Room
The Deluxe Rooms at the Orleans Hotel & Casino are your basic, standard room that measures 450 sq ft and come with the option of one king bed or two queen beds.
Guests who stay in a Deluxe room can enjoy amenities such as free wifi, a coffee maker, cable television and movies, and recently renovated rooms.
These rooms don’t include a mini-refrigerator, but you can request one for an additional charge.
Strip View Rooms
The Strip View Rooms are nearly identical to the Deluxe Rooms. Each room measures 450 sq ft, and they are available in both a single king or two queen bed configuration. What makes these rooms at the Orleans Hotel and Casino different is the view they offer.
A room with a view of the Las Vegas Strip is considered a perk at all the hotels on the Strip. While the windows in these rooms aren’t as massive as some of the others we’ve seen, they do offer a decent view, especially when relaxing in one of the comfy chairs placed next to the window.
In addition to a Strip view, you can also request a view of the pool or mountain view.
Executive Suite
The Executive Suite is a one-bedroom suite at the Orleans Hotel Las Vegas. The suite measures 900 sq ft and features a wet bar with seating, a dining table, a living area, a master bathroom attached to the bedroom, and televisions throughout. The one thing we noticed about this suite is that it offers a shower but not a bathtub. So, if you’re dreaming of a long, relaxing soak during your stay, this isn’t the suite for you.
Louisiana Suite
The Louisiana Suite measures 1,350 sq ft and features two bedrooms, making it perfect for families or a small group of friends that want to stay together. The one bedroom offers a single king bed, while the other features two queen-size beds, both of which include a connected bathroom.
The dining area and wet bar seating offer plenty of space to enjoy room service or coffee in the morning, and the living room is just the right size for cuddling up and enjoying a late-night movie.
Also this suite also doesn’t offer a bathtub. Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower only.
New Orleans Suite
The 1800 sq ft New Orleans Suite is recently renovated and decorated in rich colors with modern accents. This suite offers a feel that’s luxe and comfortable. This is a one-bedroom suite, offering a plush king bed and also a deep soaking jacuzzi-style tub for those times when you want a spa experience without actually going to the spa.
A wet bar with a refrigerator and sink, along with the living room area, make this a nice suite for entertaining, plus the views of the Las Vegas Strip in the distance are a nice plus.
Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite is the largest suite at the Orleans Hotel Las Vegas. The Presidential Suite measures 2,500 sq ft and features two bedrooms, each with a king bed. The master bathroom features a full bath with a spacious vanity and jacuzzi-style tub, while the other bedroom offers just a shower instead.
There’s a wet bar and spacious seating area, so this is a great suite for families or for entertaining.
Dining
If you don’t feel like staying in for room service, Orleans Hotel and Casino Las Vegas offers plenty of great food options. Options range from Alder & Birch for fine dining to Big Al’s Oyster Bar and more casual dining options. Unfortunately, the Prime Rib Loft, which at one point called Orleans Hotel home, is no longer open.

Shows & Entertainment
Orleans Arena
The Orleans Arena is home to more than 200 performances and events each year, providing great entertainment for guests of all ages. Billy Joel, Carrie Underwood, and Blake Shelton are just a few of the top names in music that have made it to the arena stage. Sporting events and family-themed shows also make regular appearances.
Orleans Showroom
The Orleans Showroom is smaller than the Arena, but with 800+ seats, it’s a perfect-sized venue for intimate concerts, comedy performances, and more.
The Venue at the Orleans
The Venue at the Orleans is home to their famous comedy dinner show and other comedy acts. If you need your funny bone tickled, this is the place to do it. Comedy shows and performances designed for a smaller audience are on stage here.
Bourbon Street Lounge
Bourbon Street Lounge isn’t a huge venue – it’s more like a bar that features great musicians on the stage. Stop by for cocktails and see who’s playing tonight.
Attractions
Century Orleans 18
Century Orleans 18 is a movie theater that offers family-friendly entertainment for everyone. A movie theater on the hotel property isn’t that common in Las Vegas, so this makes for something fun to do without needing to find your way to a different movie theater in Las Vegas.
Orleans Bowling Alley
Want to go bowling while staying at Orleans Hotel and Casino? You don’t have to travel far. The Orleans features its very own bowling alley with 52 lanes! All your favorite bowling amenities are there, too, including ample seating, a snack bar, a lounge, lockers, and a full-service pro shop.
The bowling alley is open daily from 9 am until 2 am.
*Note – if you prefer golfing to bowling, the Bali Hai Golf Course is less than two miles away.
Time Out Arcade
The Time Out Arcade is just one feature that we think makes the Orleans Hotel & Casino a great place for a family vacation. Kids of all ages will enjoy arcade games – both new and the classics.
Time Out Arcade is open from noon until 9 pm on Monday thru Wednesday, noon until 10 pm on Thursday, 11 am until 11 pm on Friday & Saturday, and 11 am until 10 pm on Sunday.
Pool
The Orleans Hotel & Casino offers guests a seasonal outdoor pool for them to enjoy during their stay. The pool complex features two pools, palm trees, and a poolside bar, so you can enjoy a cocktail or two while lounging in the sun.
The pool at the Orleans Hotel isn’t the largest, but it is perfectly sized for the hotel. There’s ample seating around the pool, which is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition, guests can also opt to rent a cabana or daybed for their time at the pool.
Cabanas & Daybeds
Cabanas and daybeds can be reserved and are a nice addition if you plan on spending a significant amount of time at the pool. They might not be worth it if you’re only going to take a quick swim or lounge for an hour, but if you plan on making a day of it, a cabana or daybed will make for a more pleasurable and comfortable experience.
Daybeds can accommodate up to two people and cost between $75-$100, depending on the day of the week. Cabanas are good for small and large groups of three to twenty people (although there are no rules that you can’t reserve a cabana if there are only two of you). Cabana rentals cost $220-$240, depending on the day of the week. This is actually a fair bit cheaper than what you’ll pay for a cabana at one of the Strip hotels.
There’s an 18% gratuity that’s automatically added to all daybed and cabana rentals and packages. There’s also a special cabana menu with beverage and appetizer packages.
The pool at Orleans Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is open daily from 10 am until 7 pm.
Spa & Fitness Center
The Spa Orleans is a full-service spa that offers a full range of relaxing and therapeutic services. This includes deep tissue massages, hot stone massages, body wraps, facials, and more. Guests can also purchase a day pass to enjoy the steam room and jacuzzi.
Guests of the spa are also provided with hair dryers, heated hair appliances, eco-friendly toiletries, razors, shaving cream, and towels free of charge.
In addition to massage, body, and facial services, the Orleans Hotel & Casino Las Vegas also offers a barber shop and hair salon.
The Spa Orleans is open Thursday thru Sunday from 10 am until 6 pm. The Spa is closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Fitness Center
There’s no reason to let your healthy and fitness routines slide while you’re in Las Vegas. The Orleans Hotel Las Vegas provides a fitness center that all guests staying at the hotel are welcome to use.
The fitness center is clean and bright and features a good range of exercise equipment, from free weights to state-of-the-art machines.
The fitness center is open daily from 6 am until 6 pm. Guests must be at least 18 years old with a valid photo ID.
