What is Zombie Burlesque?
The Zombie Burlesque is a risqué adult comedy burlesque show set in the Atomic 50s that features several undead, sexy zombies performing comedy, variety acts, musical numbers, and dance routines for your entertainment.

The back story of the show is quite interesting in itself. It is 1958, and zombies have taken over the world. To allow the dead and undead population to coexist peacefully, the zombies have been promised human prisoners in return for their cooperation.
As an act of good faith, in reciprocation, humans have been allowed into Club Z, a risque zombie adult club, to witness the sexiest side of these monsters.
The genre of the show can be described as horror-erotic since it combines themes of death and desire. Sex and death have always been subjects of intrigue for human civilization, and the Zombie Burlesque mixes both to create hilarious and erotic strip comedy sketches with music in the mix.

What to Expect
At the Zombie Burlesque, you can expect over-the-top costumes and loud makeup that transform performers into amazing, larger-than-life characters. There is lots of glitter and glam, many props and contraptions, and… a lot of fake blood.
A live band adds energy to the dancing numbers, and there are also feats of balance and strength that the talented performers make look easy. The show is brimming with references to the most famous horror movies of the 40s, 50s, and 60s for that rush of nostalgia for horror lovers.

If you are planning on enjoying the 75-minute show from seats closer to the stage, remember that the show is interactive, and you may be invited to participate in some of the performances. One act invites an audience member to be ‘taken captive.’
If you are uncomfortable with being called out, either take a back seat or don’t volunteer answers when questions are asked.

Despite its morbid theme, the Zombie Burlesque is actually a celebration of life. The message that the performances put out is to enjoy life as much as you can while you are still breathing.
Who Will Enjoy It?
If you don’t mind crude humor and take pleasure in musical performances, you will enjoy the show. Even if you have not been to a burlesque show before, the rave reviews from audiences are enough to convince us that it can be just your kind of thing!
Cast
The award-winning cast is full of interesting, gory characters who are caricatures of their namesake monsters. The lead actor is Enoch Augustus Scott, who plays Zenoch, but there is a substitute actor in place since the show is very popular and takes place every night.

All performers are professional actors, trained singers, and skilled dancers. Their brilliant individual characteristics combined contribute to the success of the show.
With zombie-themed names like Sophia LaMorte, Elizabeth Terror, Ricardo Notembalmed, Sandra Dee-Composing, Grace Killer, and Scary Grant, the larger-than-life zombies have strong personalities that are more than one-dimensional.
A comedy-musical set in the 1950s featuring zombie dancers performing alongside comedy and variety acts.
