When talking about the ultimate pool complex in Las Vegas, it’s impossible not to mention the Garden of Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace. This pool complex is massive, featuring seven different outdoor pools, each with its own vibe and personality.

There’s a consistent Roman theme throughout the Garden of Gods Pool Oasis, with fountains, pillars, and statues lending a feeling of opulence. However, this pool complex is far from stuffy and pretentious.

The seven pools include the Temple Pool, which is perfect for those wanting to lounge and relax. Then there’s the Venus Pool, which is an adult-only experience and one of the few pools in Las Vegas where you can enjoy a nighttime swim.

The Fortuna Pool is where you can play swim-up blackjack and enjoy a cocktail while splashing around and placing your bets. The Neptune Pool is the largest of the seven and the most likely place to find a pool party at Caesars Palace.

For a casual, low-key swim, check out the Apollo Pool or Jupiter Pool (the best pool at Caesars Palace for kids). Finally, there’s the Bacchus Pool, but this one is by invitation only.

Topless Pools in Vegas

Bare Pool Lounge

The Bare Pool Lounge is a Mirage Pool where adults can enjoy relaxed, sexy poolside fun. The Bare pool is considered one of the best pools in Las Vegas for top-optional sunbathing and swimming. The surroundings at this Mirage pool are secluded and serene. The private dipping pools are perfect for dipping your toes in, and there’s a wonderful menu of poolside cocktails and shareable nibbles to enjoy.

Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay

Public Pools in Las Vegas

Stadium Swim

Stadium Swim at Circa is arguably the most popular public pool in Las Vegas. With three levels, swim-up bars, and a 40-ft tall high-definition screen that shows some of the biggest sporting events, there is always something happening at this massive pool compound. To top it off, you don’t have to fight traffic on the Strip to enjoy Stadium Swim. You can find Circa on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas.

The Golden Nugget’s pool features a 200.000 shark tank aquarium right in the middle of the pool, so you can get up close and personal with some seriously daunting sealife.

You don’t even have to be a hotel guest of the Golden Nugget to get in on the fun. You do need to pay an entrance fee if you aren’t staying at this Downtown Las Vegas hotel, but our opinion is that it’s totally worth it!

Cabana Rentals

Here’s a little secret about Las Vegas pools that say they’re only for registered hotel guests. In many cases, non-hotel guests are welcome into the pool area if they rent a cabana.

Keep in mind that you should always check the hotel’s policy first and also that cabana rentals in Las Vegas are rarely cheap. However, if you have your eye set on a certain poolside scene, this is a workaround that will often get you into the pool of your dreams.

Lazy River Pools In Las Vegas

MGM Grand Lazy River

The MGM Grand Pool Complex sits on 6.5 acres and offers four of the best pools in Las Vegas, plus an amazing lazy river. This pool complex is so large that you rarely feel crowded, like what can happen in other hotel pools in Sin City, but the lazy river is what it’s all about.

What’s the best part about this lazy river that winds its way through the MGM Grand pool complex? It’s completely free for guests staying at the MGM Grand. The only cost associated with using the lazy river is the purchase of pool rafts if you don’t have one. Currently, rafts and floaties aren’t available to rent at MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Mandalay Bay Beach

Mandalay Bay Beach Pool with lazy river

The Mandalay Bay Resort has taken the lack of beaches in Las Vegas quite personally. To overcome this lack of a water body, they have created a faux beach with 2,700 tons of sand, a 1.6 million-gallon wave pool, and the most popular lazy river in all of Las Vegas.

If you are visiting with family, there are plenty of activities the little ones can indulge themselves in, including the river experience that they (and you) can have by floating on pool rafts down the Lazy River. Don’t worry; it is kid-friendly!

Cowabunga Bay

Are you tired of Las Vegas pools that only allow hotel guests on the premises? Just outside of Las Vegas, with a location in both Summerlin and Henderson, is an amazingly fun waterpark called Cowabunga Bay. Not only is all the public welcome, but they also have an incredible, heated lazy river to float the day away on.

Cowabunga Bay is a family-friendly venue, but adults can have just as much fun on their own. In addition to the lazy river, there are tons of attractions at this waterpark. Try the wave pool, wading pool, water slides, splash pools, and more.

Plan on spending the entire day, and don’t forget the sunscreen!

Bellagio

bellagio pool

The Bellagio Hotel pool is the goldilocks of all places. It is neither too big nor too small; neither too crowded nor too empty; neither too loud nor too quiet- you could say it is just right. Rather than the grand designs of other hotels like MGM or Mirage, this pool is beautiful in an understated way.

The Bellagio isn’t the ultimate party pool, but it is one of the Las Vegas pools where you can relax practically any time of the year. The Bellagio pool is heated, plus there are hot tubs to enjoy as well. What a perfect way to spend a slightly cooler late summer morning in Las Vegas.

Park MGM

Many people love the MGM Grand pool complex, but the larger Park MGM Resort pool area is equally as wonderful, and the south pool is usually heated and open year-round. This is a quieter pool, so it’s a great option for those that aren’t looking for a crowded scene.

It’s best to check with the hotel about hours and closures before making plans, and the North pool isn’t as reliably open year-round as the south pool.

Palazzo

palazzo hotel pool

Loaded with lounge chairs and day beds around, The Palazzo offers one of the cozier and more relaxed pools in Las Vegas. The cabanas around the pool are supplied with ceiling fans for those hot days, DVD players for some vintage entertainment and refrigerators for beverages chilled to ice.

While you relax, the DJ plays music, and the servers never tire of bringing you fresh towels for just another round in the pool. An array of fancy drinks coming in while you loosen up completes the picture. Plus, the pools are all heated, so they’re at a comfortable temperature, no matter what the weather.

Wave Pools In Las Vegas

Mandalay Bay Beach

We know we already mentioned Mandalay Bay Beach for its lazy river, but we have to give them a second nod for their wave pool. The waves are just perfect for making you feel like you’re standing on an ocean beach and not in the middle of a desert. When you’re done playing in the waves, Mandalay Beach offers six outdoor pools plus several beach clubs, including Moorea and the Delano Beach Club.

Planet Hollywood Scene Pool Deck

Planet Hollywood Las Vegas is home to the only professional free-standing wave on the Las Vegas Strip. The Flowrider is serious enough to ride a wave on, but with state-of-the-art technology, the surface absorbs all the impact of the water. This means you can ride the waves safely without worrying about a painful crash down. This is perfect for anyone just learning how to surf a wave.

Splash Zone- Circus Circus

Circus Circus Splash Zone

There is no other way to say it: the Splash Zone at Circus Circus is a ton of fun with the kids. Instead of offering a regular hotel pool, the hotel has gone all-out by adding water park features to its existing pools. With over one acre of water fun reserved only for hotel guests, the water park has three different kinds of water slides, a water playground, and two whirlpools!

For older kids and for you, the four-lane water slide racers are exhilarating! For younger kids, there is a splash pad playground area with water jets, waterfalls, and water cannons. With family, Circus Circus is the place to stay, especially if you’re looking for a family pool.

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

Go Pool Dayclub at the Flamingo Las Vegas

The Go Pool Dayclub at the Flamingo is great fun for couples. This is an adult-only venue where you can snuggle up with your love and indulge in a little PDA without worrying about young eyes looking at you. Party Pools

Wet Republic Ultra Pool

Wet Republic is a staggering 54,500-square-foot venue with sparsely-clothed bodies writhing to the DJ’s beats. If you are a party animal, Wet Republic serves up a crazy party scene. Fancy drinks, two saltwater pools, dipping pools, daybeds, and party cabanas – all this makes for a wild, festive atmosphere.

If you are really down to party full-capacity, Wet Republic at the MGM Grand will serve you well with an authentic Vegas pool experience.

Drai’s Beachclub at The Cromwell

DraisBeachClub pool party

The Drai’s beach club is one step above others with its 30,000 square feet of rooftop waterside partying. On top of the usual luxuries you expect, the view of the Strip from the 11th floor will take your breath away.

With DJs, dancers, and fashionable guests, Drai’s beach club is a lively event, whether day or night.

Tao Beach at the Venetian

tao beach pool party

Tao Beach is the fanciest of Las Vegas hotel pools. The clientele at Tao is (there is no other way to put it) beautiful and influential. If you want to party with the ‘it’ crowd, Tao is the place to be. In this 18,000-square-foot party zone, you get fresh cocktails, amazing music from international DJs, and at night, two tall fire columns!

The décor at this poolside is inspired by Asian design with Buddhist elements incorporated throughout. Even the menu at Tao doesn’t disappoint with its American plus Pan Asian range. If you want real extravagance, visit the Venetian.

Free Pools In Las Vegas

The burning question when it comes to pool time fun in Sin City is if it’s possible to get into any of the best pools in Las Vegas without paying a crazy entrance fee.

Honestly, we couldn’t find any pools that allowed the public in for free. However, most hotels in Las Vegas do not charge their guests an additional fee to use the hotel pools.

This doesn’t mean that you can rent a room in Las Vegas and then invite twenty of your closest friends to use the hotel pools. There are limits to how many guests per room can use the pool. This is usually four, but it’s often possible to add one or two to that tally, even if it means paying a little extra for a day pass.

When Do Pools Open in Las Vegas

The image of Las Vegas is that it’s hot, sizzling fun all year long. While this may be true on one level, it isn’t always the weather that keeps the temperature at a boiling point. There is a cooler season in Las Vegas, which runs between October and March. Many hotel pools close down during this period, opening again right before spring break.

There are a few heated pools that are open year-round. The water temperature is typically heated to 80-84 degrees, so you’ll stay nice and warm for your swim.
