Do you live to ride? Make your plans now to attend the 20th annual Bikefest. We’ve done the work of digging up the details. Here’s what you need to know to start planning your trip to Vegas for this year’s motorcycle event.
About Las Vegas Bike Week 2021
Las Vegas Bike-fest is a motorcycle rally unlike any other in the heart of one of America’s hottest cities. It’s the chance for motorcycle enthusiasts and bikers around the country to gather, show off their choppers, attend events, and play in a city that’s synonymous with a party that never stops.
For decades, Bikefest has attracted tens of thousands of bikers, riding everything from Harley Davidson, classic choppers, Ducati, to modern racing bikes. There’s a spot for every bike enthusiast at one of the hottest motorcycle events of the year.
Vegas Bikefest week is filled with events, including contests, poker runs, vendors, motorcycle icons, shows, concerts, parties, and more than a few bikinis. The four-day rally is considered the premier motorcycle event in the west, and it takes place in the historic Las Vegas downtown district, right in the heart of the action on famous Fremont St.
This year marks 20 years of the annual motorcycle rally taking place in Vegas. Although this year should be the 21st annual event, the rally was canceled last year due to safety reasons and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Las Vegas Bike Week Events
The current schedule of Las Vegas Bikefest 2021 is still in the works, but we can count on a few of the traditional rally events taking place (unless Covid rears its ugly head and gets in the way). Here are a few of the annual events and happenings to plan on for this year’s rally.
Biker Fest Poker Walk
Thus ultimate Poker Walk is a crawl up and down Fremont Street, where you attend several poker venues, collecting your hand. Meet up at the end with your best poker face to lay your cards on the table and see if you have the winning hand.
Miss Las Vegas Bike Fest Competition
Las Vegas isn’t known for being shy when it comes to showing a little skin. This bikini contest competition is for the ladies, with categories like Best Biker Wear, Best Bedroom Babe, Best Pose, and more. There are cash prices, and all contestants must be registered.
Hogs & Heifers Saloon
With a name like Hogs & Heifers Saloon, it doesn’t come as any big surprise that this is one of the hottest locations during Las Vegas Bikefest. Hogs & Heifers is usually the rally kick-off party’s location, along with several other events during the weekend. You can find everything from tattoo artists to the hottest drink slingers dancing on the bar.
Bikefest Concerts
Concerts are a main attraction during LV Bike Week. The official list of 2021 performers isn’t published yet, but the list of performers from years past has included the Southland Party Band, Bullets & Octane, Moonshine Bandits, and Steel Panther.
Most concerts are included with the purchase of a Bikefest ticket. Check back frequently with the official Las Vegas Bikefest site to learn more about which performers will be making an appearance this year.
Las Vegas Hotels Near Bikerfest
Where should you plan on staying while attending one of the hottest bike shows in Nevada? As the weekend nears, more of the hotels in the area will offer special deals and pricing for people attending the motorcycle rally. Until then, here are the details about a few hotels that will be close to the heart of the action
The Strat Hotel, Casino & Skypod
The Strat Hotel, Casino, & Skypod is located on the Strip, so it’s a bit removed from the rally’s main traffic but still a reasonable, short bike ride to the rally. The Strat is also home to some of the most popular thrill rides and adventures in Vegas, which means there’s plenty to see and do outside of the motorcycle rally. This is an excellent spot for those who want to see a bit more of Vegas while also attending motorcycle events.
Sahara Las Vegas
The Sahara, also located on the Strip, is a favorite for rally attendees. With reasonably priced rooms, a prime location, and great eats on-site, the Sahara is an excellent spot to rest your head after partying with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts into the wee hours.
Hilton Grand Vacations
Another reasonably priced option on the Strip that offers a ton of amenities, spacious rooms, beautiful pools, and close proximity to every bike show event. Plus, at Hilton Grand Vacations, there are secured and covered parking options to protect your ride.
Westgate Las Vegas Resort
Westgate Las Vegas Resort is located on Paradise Rd, close to the Convention Center and a short walk or motorcycle ride from the Strip. If you’re attending the bike rally but also love to test lady luck, Westgate ranks among the best for the sportsbook and casino in Vegas.
