Las Vegas Events in April 2025

Las Vegas in April is when the desert really starts to heat up, just like your credit card after a few nights at the blackjack table. Whether you’re a local looking for something new or just visiting our fine city, there’s no shortage of entertainment to empty your wallet. April brings that perfect weather where you’re not yet melting on the sidewalk but still complaining about tourists who stop walking suddenly to take photos.

🎤Music & Concerts in April

Why go? Because nothing says “vacation splurge” like dropping more on concert tickets than your monthly car payment. Hey, at least the memories last longer than that losing streak at the craps table.

Smokey Robinson
When: April 2, 4-5 @ 8:30PM | Where: Venetian Theatre
Cost: $77+ (a bargain for living music history)
Highlights: The man is 95 years old and still sounds better than contestants on those singing shows. Smokey’s still got it, folks.

Carrie Underwood’s “Reflection” Residency
When: April 2, 4-5, 9, 11-12 @ 8PM | Where: Resorts World Theatre
Cost: $200-$750 (similar to what we spent feeding our kids through college)
Highlights: Spectacular vocals, costume changes that’ll give you whiplash, and enough pyrotechnics to make you forget you’re in a theater and not actually in Oklahoma.

Eagles at Sphere
When: April 4-12 @ 8:30pm | Where: Sphere at The Venetian
Cost: $327-$1,500 (because your retirement can wait)
Highlights: The immersive visuals at Sphere make “Hotel California” feel like you’ve actually checked in.

AC/DC
When: April 26 @ 7:30PM | Where: Allegiant Stadium
Cost: $178+ (what’s money compared to nostalgia?)
Highlights: These guys are still thunderstruck after all these years.

Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend

When: April 24-27, 2025 | Where: The Orleans Hotel
Cost: $66-$220

Highlights: This isn’t just an event; it’s a time warp. Think poodle skirts, pompadours, classic cars, and enough rockabilly music to make you want to learn how to swing dance (even if you have two left feet).

With vintage fashion shows, burlesque performances, and a car show that’ll make you drool, Viva Las Vegas is a full-on celebration of mid-century Americana. The Viva Las Vegas Festival features live music, a pin-up contest, a pool party with a men’s swimsuit competition, a tattoo room, and so much more rockabilly fun.

Just be prepared to spend a fortune on vintage dresses you’ll only wear once a year… but oh, so worth it.

Why go? Because nothing says “spiritual holiday” like gambling away your tax refund while dressed as a bunny.

April Fool’s Day Casino Promotions
When: April 1 | Where: Various Casinos
Cost: Free entry (but you’ll pay eventually)
Highlights: The real joke is thinking you’ll win. Still, the special promotions are worth checking out, especially if you enjoy the crushing disappointment of almost winning a car.

Easter Brunch Extravaganzas
When: April 20 | Where: Various Strip Hotels
Cost: $75-$200 per person (your wallet will rise again… eventually)
Highlights: Bottomless mimosas and enough food to put you in a coma until Memorial Day.

Earth Day Celebration
When: April 19, 10am-4pm | Where: Springs Preserve
Cost: $9-$18 admission
Highlights: Learn about sustainability before heading back to your hotel with 15 tiny plastic shampoo bottles. The irony is not lost on us.

Why go? To collect enough branded pens and stress balls to open your own dollar store.

Highlights: Authentic Indian cuisine that will make you question every “Indian” restaurant you’ve ever visited.

Highlights: International-inspired food stands that make you forget you’re in Nevada.

San Gennaro Feast

Sports in April

Why go? To yell at strangers in jerseys and pretend you understand the rules.

College Basketball Crown
When: April 1-6 | Where: T-Mobile Arena
Cost: $30+ (depending on how much you love basketball)
Highlights: The culmination of March Madness spilling into April Absurdity. We pretended to understand bracketology while really just enjoying the beer and collective shouting.

Crown Town Fan Fest
When: April 4 | Where: Circa
Cost: $40
Highlights: Basketball-themed activities for fans who couldn’t afford actual game tickets.

NHRA 4-Wide Nationals
When: April 11-13 | Where: Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Cost: $60+ (earplugs sold separately)
Highlights: Four cars racing side-by-side at speeds that defy the laws of physics (and common sense). If you like loud noises, the smell of burning rubber, and the feeling of your internal organs vibrating, this is the event for you!

WWE WrestleMania 41
When: April 19-20 @ 3:30PM | Where: Allegiant Stadium
Cost: $188-$13,000 (yes, you read that right)
Highlights: Grown men in spandex pretending to hit each other while we pretend we’re too sophisticated for this. Spoiler: we’re not, and we had a blast. My husband bought a championship belt replica that’s now hidden in our closet.

The Viva Las Vegas Festival features live music, a car show, burlesque events, a pin-up contest, a pool party with a men’s swimsuit competition, a tattoo room, and so much more rockabilly fun. Some artists you’ll see on the concert stage include the Ragtime Wranglers, Marcel Bontempi, Bibi & Her Tremblin’ Souls, the Honkabillies, and more! 

The Latin American Music Awards are being held live in Las Vegas this coming April. The awards are taking place at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay Casino Resort. This event pays tribute to the Latin American music artists who are the most influential in the industry. Nominees for the awards will be announced the month before the actual awards ceremony. 

April brings the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals to Las Vegas. Start your engines and head to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for one of the hottest racing events of the year. The NHRA event is one of the most popular in drag racing, and by the time April rolls around, the weather is perfect for cheering on your favorite drag racer from the stands. 

If you’re unfamiliar with four-wide drag racing, the event features four cars that race against each other as part of a quad. The two top winners of each quad are the ones that advance to the next round. This event is the first of two that are held in Las Vegas. The second of the NHRA events happens in the fall in Las Vegas, with a traditional two by two race. 

Las Vegas was originally scheduled to host the NFL draft in 2020, but with the pandemic blooming at the time, Vegas would have to wait for a future opportunity. That opportunity has finally arrived as Las Vegas prepares to host the NFL draft in its entirety. 

Las Vegas is famous for its Super Bowl parties, and which teams end up in the most famous football game in the world all starts with the draft. This year’s NFL draft is sure to be a grand spectacle, with rumored locations being at the Bellagio Fountains, Caesars Palace, Allegiant Stadium, and some of the other top attractions in the city that would make the perfect backdrop for the occasion. 

The Indian festival of Holi celebrates a transitional time of year when spring arrives and winter fades into the background. The Festival of Colors in Las Vegas celebrates Holi with a fantastic marriage of dance, chant, and celebration – all non-stop and all waiting for you!

Festival-goers can purchase environmentally safe colored powder for the hourly powder throws. Everyone gets dusted with these colors of spring as the party continues, no matter what the weather. Special children’s areas are available, along with other activities including yoga, music, and great food. The Festival of Colors, held at Sunset Park, is the perfect time to shed the winter blues and embrace the rebirth of spring. 

Las Vegas is a hot location for spring break, and April is the time of year that we really see the pool party action begin to pick up. Many Las Vegas resorts have amazing pool complexes, but when it comes to spring break pool parties, there are a few that make the top of the list for hot fun during your April getaway. 

Bare Pool at the Mirage, with its more intimate atmosphere, is a frequent spot for pool parties, even with its smaller size. Bare Pool is an adult-only pool, with a “top-optional” policy. The water is always perfect and the drinks flow effortlessly at this Las Vegas Pool. 

A few other popular spots for Las Vegas pool parties in April include Drai’s Beachclub at the Cromwell, Wet Republic at the MGM Grand, Daylight Beachclub at Mandalay Bay, and Liquid Pool at Aria. Keep in mind that free admission to the pools is typically reserved for guests of each hotel, so plan on paying money for tickets or admission if you plan on pool hopping. 

The City of Lights Jazz and R&B Festival is a definite favorite among Vegas shows in April. Held at the Las Vegas Government Amphitheater, this festival features an incredible line of Jazz and R&B concerts. Some of the musicians and bands scheduled to perform at the festival include Will Downing, Lalah Hathaway, Leela James, After 7, and Marcus Johnson. 

This is an open-air festival, with ground seating or you can bring your own low chair. You’re also more than welcome to bring a picnic lunch and just chill on the lawn as you listen to smooth Jazz and R&B. This festival has taken place annually for thirty years and always brings in a nice crowd, so make sure you purchase your tickets early.
