The Viva Las Vegas Festival features live music, a car show, burlesque events, a pin-up contest, a pool party with a men’s swimsuit competition, a tattoo room, and so much more rockabilly fun. The Las Vegas Beer Festival is located in the downtown district, which also happens to be where “Brewery Row” is located. There are a couple of great breweries on the Las Vegas Strip, but downtown Vegas is where you’re going to find a lot of the craft brew action. NHRA Four-Wide Nationals
April brings the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals to Las Vegas. Start your engines and head to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for one of the hottest racing events of the year. The NHRA event is one of the most popular in drag racing, and by the time April rolls around, the weather is perfect for cheering on your favorite drag racer from the stands.
If you’re unfamiliar with four-wide drag racing, the event features four cars that race against each other as part of a quad. The two top winners of each quad are the ones that advance to the next round. This event is the first of two that are held in Las Vegas. The second of the NHRA events happens in the fall in Las Vegas, with a traditional two by two race.
NFL Draft Las Vegas
Las Vegas was originally scheduled to host the NFL draft in 2020, but with the pandemic blooming at the time, Vegas would have to wait for a future opportunity. That opportunity has finally arrived as Las Vegas prepares to host the NFL draft in its entirety.
Las Vegas is famous for its Super Bowl parties, and which teams end up in the most famous football game in the world all starts with the draft. This year’s NFL draft is sure to be a grand spectacle, with rumored locations being at the Bellagio Fountains, Caesars Palace, Allegiant Stadium, and some of the other top attractions in the city that would make the perfect backdrop for the occasion.
Festival of Colors
The Indian festival of Holi celebrates a transitional time of year when spring arrives and winter fades into the background. The Festival of Colors in Las Vegas celebrates Holi with a fantastic marriage of dance, chant, and celebration – all non-stop and all waiting for you!
Festival-goers can purchase environmentally safe colored powder for the hourly powder throws. Everyone gets dusted with these colors of spring as the party continues, no matter what the weather. Special children’s areas are available, along with other activities including yoga, music, and great food. The Festival of Colors, held at Sunset Park, is the perfect time to shed the winter blues and embrace the rebirth of spring.

This is an open-air festival, with ground seating or you can bring your own low chair. You’re also more than welcome to bring a picnic lunch and just chill on the lawn as you listen to smooth Jazz and R&B. This festival has taken place annually for thirty years and always brings in a nice crowd, so make sure you purchase your tickets early.
Las Vegas Concerts in April
