The Park MGM, located right on the Las Vegas Strip, offers a slower pace and more serene vibe than many of the other major resorts on Las Vegas Boulevard. That’s not to say it isn’t an exciting place to stay. It’s just that you might not have to fight through an insane amount of crowds and traffic. Park MGM parking is easy to navigate and a great place to park when exploring the Strip or attending an event at the T-Mobile Arena.Â
Self Parking

To self-park at Park MGM, Las Vegas, is super easy to navigate. Once you’re on Park Ave (the first left after the New York New York Hotel when heading north on the Strip), pull into the parking garage and collect your parking ticket.Â
Visitors to the hotel will need their parking ticket with them when they reach the exit gate. For an expedited exit, you can visit the self-parking pay kiosk prior to getting in your car, which will save time by not needing to pay your parking fee at the exit gate.
Registered hotel guests who are staying at Park MGM Las Vegas can choose to have their self-parking fees added to their room bill. Then, just enter and exit the parking facility using your room key. Your room keys will also grant you access to any MGM Resorts self-parking garages in Las Vegas. This is a great perk if you’re interested in special events at other MGM resorts.
If you lose your parking ticket, a parking attendant will attempt to determine how long you were parked. If this can’t be determined, you may have to pay a lost ticket fee, which will be greater than the self-park rates you would have otherwise paid.
Valet Parking

Valet parking services are available for guests and visitors to the Park MGM Las Vegas. When you pull up to the valet parking area, you’ll receive a valet ticket. Keep this ticket because you’ll need it to retrieve your car when you’re ready to leave. Visitors can scan their tickets at the barcode reader, which signals to the valet staff that they’re ready for their car.
Registered hotel guests who are staying at the Park MGM Las Vegas or other MGM Las Vegas hotels can choose to have their valet parking fee added to their room bill by bringing their ticket with them when they check-in. MGM Rewards card members will need to show their card to the valet park for free (Pearl, Gold, Platinum, and Noir members only).
Valet parking fees cost a bit more on the weekends than they do during the week.
EV Parking
Currently, Park MGM Las Vegas is not equipped with spots to charge your electric vehicles. However, the MGM Grand, which is right across the street, is. Ok, being right across the Las Vegas Strip is different than being across the street in your local neighborhood. It’s about a half-mile walk, which might not be something you want to do on the regular just to get to your car.
That said, the parking fees at the MGM Grand are the same as they are at Park MGM, and guests who are staying at the hotel do have in-out privileges at all MGM Resorts properties when using the same parking type. This means self-parking guests have unlimited in-and-out access to the brand’s self-parking garages, and valet parking guests can come and go using valet services as they please.
The MGM Grand offers two free EV charging stations that are located on Level 2 of its self-parking garage. While the charging stations are free, the actual parking is subject to standard parking fees. This means free self-parking for the first hour for guests and visitors and free self-parking for the first three hours for Nevada residents with a valid NV driver’s license. Any amount of time that you’re parked after the free parking grace period will be subject to regular parking rates.Â

Both Park MGM Las Vegas self-parking and valet parking can be accessed via Park Avenue. If you’re heading north on the Las Vegas Strip, this will be the first left after the New York New York Hotel.
Special Event Parking
Park MGM Las Vegas is home to some incredible shows, and it’s one of the closest properties to the mob. Guests who are attending special events will use the Park MGM Las Vegas parking garage, just like other guests and visitors to the hotel.Â
One exception is for guests who have prepaid parking for an event at the T-Mobile Arena. Paid parking can be reserved up to, but not including, the day of the event.
Even if you’re not attending a show, concert, or game, it’s always a good idea to take a look at upcoming events so you can be prepared for longer than normal exit times in the Park MGM Las Vegas parking facilities. Using the on-foot kiosks to pay for parking and using the expedited exit can save some time, but there still might be a line to get out.
Oversized Vehicle Parking

Currently, there isn’t any available parking for oversized vehicles at the Park MGM Las Vegas parking facilities. Guests who are staying at MGM Resorts properties with oversized vehicles can use the oversized parking lots at the Excalibur or Mirage.
It’s important to contact the front desk at Park MGM Las Vegas to arrange oversized parking accommodations. The parking fee for the oversized lot is charged by the day, with all-day in and out privileges for the lot you’re parked in.
Valet parking is not available for oversized vehicles, and does not receive the first free hour of complimentary self-parking.
Is There Free Parking At Park MGM?
Parking at the Park MGM isn’t completely free, but they do offer a few free parking benefits in certain circumstances.
For short-term visitors, the first hour of self-parking is free at the Park MGM. This is a great benefit, but the chances of being in and out of any resort in Las Vegas are slim. This complimentary self-parking benefit is great if you’re running in to pick up a to-go order from a restaurant, meeting someone to pick them up, or something minor like this.
An hour of free parking on the Las Vegas Strip sounds like a great deal, which it is, but know that it really doesn’t afford enough time to dine or visit the casino without paying an additional parking fee once you return to your car.
Nevada residents with a valid NV driver’s license receive complimentary hours at Park MGM and all other MGM Resorts Las Vegas properties. This free parking benefit covers the first three hours of your stay. This complimentary parking benefit applies only to self-parking, and Nevada residents must have their ID with them.Â
Additionally, MGM Rewards members of a certain status also receive complimentary parking at MGM Resorts Las Vegas. Pearl, Gold, Platinum, and Noir MGM Rewards Members can self-park for free with no time limits on their stay.
MGM Rewards Mastercard cardholders receive an automatic upgrade that makes them Pearl status members, entitling them to receive complimentary self-parking.
MGM Rewards members and MGM Rewards Mastercard cardholders who are Gold, Platinum, or Noir MGM Rewards members also receive the benefit of complimentary valet service. Sapphire and Pearl Status members are required to pay the standard valet parking fees.
