Cromwell Las Vegas Pool

Not everyone’s idea of a great pool day involves lounging leisurely next to the water. At the Cromwell Las Vegas, they take having a good time at the pool seriously. The Cromwell Las Vegas pool is home to Drai’s Beach Club and is arguably the hottest poolside location on the Las Vegas Strip. Of course, there are “low-key” days too, but when there’s a DJ or live music on the scene, the pool takes on an unmistakable club vibe.

Las Vegas Pool at Cromwell

Drai’s Beach Club

Drai’s Beach Club is a 35,000-square-foot space that takes the typical Las Vegas pool experience and transforms it into the ultimate pool party. With a great location, right on S Las Vegas Blvd, the pool complex offers multiple pools (some of them private for those who rent a bungalow) and a gorgeous tropical landscape.

Drai’s Beachclub is located eleven stories above the Las Vegas Strip, which means in addition to a high-energy party vibe, there are also great views.

Drai’s Beachclub isn’t the place you want to go if you’re craving to just lounge quietly in the Las Vegas sun, maybe swim a lap or splash around in the pool, and then wander back to your room at the Cromwell before getting ready to hit the casino, maybe check out some Vegas indoor skydiving, go out to dinner, or check out the Las Vegas night scene.

Instead, Drai’s Beachclub is the event of the day, with a scene you won’t want to leave once the party gets started. Then, once night hits, Drai’s Beachclub turns into Drai’s Nightclub – and then, even later, Drai’s After Dark.

Entry into Drai’s Beach Club

Guests of any Caesars Entertainment property are welcome to enjoy free and easy access to the pool at Cromwell from 11 am until noon on Friday – Sunday, which is the best chance to enjoy the pool without a cover charge. Make sure you bring your room key to show that you’re staying in one of the Caesars Entertainment rooms. Otherwise, you can purchase tickets online.

Cabana Reservations

When you purchase your tickets online, you can also choose to reserve a lounge, cabana, or bungalow when purchasing your tickets. You’ll get an immediate idea of how much each of those options costs in terms of minimum spending. Be prepared that they’re not cheap by any means, but each offers you your own bit of space at the crowded pool complex. Some cabanas and bungalows feature amenities like free Wi-Fi, an HD Television, air conditioning or fans, food and beverage service, and more.

Also, keep in mind without lounge, bungalow, or cabana reservations that, Drai’s Beachclub is a standing room only.

Food & Drink

Food & Drink

It’s always a nice idea to lay around in your king bed at the Cromwell Hotel and order room service, enjoying nibbles and champagne from the comfort of your room.

Of course, you can enjoy food and drink when visiting Drai’s Beach Club, although you can’t bring outside food or alcoholic beverages into the pool complex.

The cabanas and bungalows come with food and drink service, including bottle service. There’s also a small stand with light nibbles and refreshments.

If nothing on the menu quite grabs your attention, the Cromwell does offer a couple of restaurants where you can enjoy a nice meal when you’re done hanging out at the beach club. Celebrity Chef Giada de Laurentiis has her namesake & first restaurant, Giada, at Cromwell, along with a light cafe called EatWell.

Music & Live Performances

The Cromwell Pool Las Vegas offers the city’s hottest DJs many days of the week, and it’s pretty much guaranteed that a crowd is going to show up. DJ Flowfly, DJ Romeo, and DJ Maria Romano are just a few of the names you can expect to see on the event calendar.

There are also live music events featuring talents like Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Ja Rule, and 2 Chainz. The music at Drai’s Beachclub spans R&B, Hip-Hop, and EDM. If you love Latin music, make sure to purchase your tickets for one of the Latin Sundays.

Age Restrictions

The Cromwell Pool is an adult-only venue, so all guests must be at least 21 years or older and have a valid ID on them to prove their age. No guests under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance, no matter how hard you try.

Cover Charge

Cover Charge

Drai’s pool is a little different from the pools at other hotels in Las Vegas. It’s usually the case that hotel guests always have complimentary access to the pool, which is often covered in the price of the resort fee, but that isn’t always how it is here. Cover charges and admissions fees vary based on what’s happening at the pool that day.

If it’s just a normal day with no DJ, live music, or party going on, then Cromwell Hotel guests have free access to the pool. When there are special events, there’s usually an additional charge that’s applied, and that also can vary depending on who’s on the stage. On Average, cover charges can range from $20-$50, with the cover for ladies costing $10-$20 less than what the guys are asked to pay.

Dress Code

Dress Code at Drai’s Beachclub

The dress code for Drai’s Beachclub is fashionable swimwear and pool attire. You’ll also want to consider the style of any swimsuit cover you wear to the pool. Since the Cromwell pool takes on a club vibe, the dress code is strictly adhered to, and it’s up to management discretion to deny guests entry based on dress, even if they have already purchased tickets.

Some examples of garments that are not permitted at Drai’s Beachclub Las Vegas include:

  • Athletic wear or gear – including gym shorts, sweatpants, team-affiliated clothing, and hats
  • Jeans & pants
  • Baggy clothing
  • Workwear, including work boots
  • Torn or cut-off clothing
  • Clothing with offensive prints
  • Ribbed tank tops
  • A-shirts

Note that this dress code is for the daytime at Drai’s Beachclub only. If you plan on going to Drai’s at night, the dress code is fashionable upscale attire.

What If You Prefer a Different Poolside Vibe?

What If You Prefer a Different Poolside Vibe?

Drai’s Beach Club is a great venue if you like the high-energy, party vibe. Even on quiet days, the beachclub still vibrates on a higher level. So, what if you’re staying at the Cromwell Hotel & Casino and want to enjoy the pool but also want a more low-key experience?

Fortunately, Caesars Entertainment has a bit of an open format policy for their guests. If you’re staying at the Cromwell, you have free access to the pool at other Caesars properties, including the multiple pools at Caesars Palace and the Flamingo pool.

You will need to bring a valid room key with you for access. It isn’t enough to just say that you’re staying in one of the rooms. You might also find that different pools have different pool seasons or age restrictions, so it doesn’t hurt to check with the front desk to confirm a pool is open and what the hours of operation are.

Hours

The Cromwell Las Vegas pool and Drai’s Beach Club is a seasonal operation that’s typically open from March until October, although the exact dates of the pool season may change depending on what’s going on with the weather.

During the summer season, the pool is open from 11 am until 5 pm on Monday thru Friday and 11 am until 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Holiday weekends and special events may result in a change of hours of operation.

Parking

Cromwell Parking

If you’re staying in a room at the Cromwell Las Vegas, then you’ll already be familiar with the parking, which includes both self-parking and valet parking options. If you’re just stopping by to enjoy Drai’s Beachclub or Drai’s Nightclub, then you can use the same self-parking or valet parking services that guests of the hotel enjoy.

Guests parking at the Cromwell can enjoy the benefit of flat-rate parking that can be charged to their room bill. Guests who aren’t staying in one of the rooms or suites will be charged an hourly rate for self-parking and a flat rate for valet services. Keep in mind that if you use valet, you don’t have in-and-out privileges if you’re not staying at the hotel. You’ll have to pay a new flat-rate daily fee if you come and go. It’s like this with most hotels on the Strip.
