There are a lot of really great bars in Las Vegas, but there’s something extra special about sitting outside at a Las Vegas rooftop bar, enjoying the weather, the company, and an amazing view of the Las Vegas skyline. There are plenty of outdoor bars in Sin City, but we’ve found going to one of the rooftop bars really elevates the experience.
So, where are the best places to hang out on a rooftop in Las Vegas? Here are our absolute favorites both on the Las Vegas Strip and off.
Rooftop Bars on the Las Vegas Strip
Beer Park (Paris Las Vegas)
Beer Park, located in the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, is often seen as the best Las Vegas rooftop bar. We agree with this as long as you’re not looking for an upscale or elegant cocktail experience, and here’s why.
Beer Park is a massive open-air rooftop bar with a sports theme that’s a fun place to hang out, even if you’re not typically into sports bars. It’s located smack dab in the center of the most popular section of Las Vegas Boulevard, and skyline views are amazing – plus, you also get a great view of the Bellagio fountains.
There’s tons of patio seating, an astroturf floor, games like giant Jenga and darts, high-definition televisions for catching the game, a great selection of beer, and some really good food. What more could you ask for?
While the rooftop patio spans about 9,000 sq ft, there’s also a huge indoor area in case you’re not in the mood to be outside.
Beer Park is open daily, staying open until 11 pm during the week and, 1 am on Friday night & 1 am on Saturday night.
Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop (Paris Las Vegas Hotel)
The Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop Lounge is famous for being one of the best rooftop bars in Las Vegas. The Chateau is a two-story bar with a gorgeous rooftop that sits right under the Eiffel Tower.
On the ground floor, there’s always great energy, often with local DJs playing music from just about every genre imaginable – hip-hop, R&B, country, and pop. You just need to check out the calendar and find the night that the DJs are playing your kind of tunes.
Currently, the upper patio is in the process of being renovated, so you won’t find a rooftop party going on there right now. However, we’re keeping a close eye on this spot and can’t wait to see what the renovations bring to make it an even more captivating spot than before.
Omnia (Caesars)
Omnia at Caesars Palace is the best rooftop bar in Las Vegas if you’re looking for an intense party scene with great music and energy that keeps going all night long. Omnia isn’t only a rooftop bar. They have a large indoor space with music, DJs, dancing, and VIP treatment all the way around.
The outdoor deck is spacious, modern, and as full of energy as the inside at Omnia. This is a great spot for bachelor and bachelorette parties in Las Vegas. Omnia is not the Las Vegas rooftop bar you want to go to if you’re in the mood for low-key and relaxed.
Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay)
If a rooftop bar that sits sixty-three floors above the Las Vegas Strip is your idea of heaven, let us introduce you to the Foundation Room at the
The Foundation Room is an elegant, elevated cocktail bar with noticeable decadence that greeted us the moment we walked in. The lounge is infused with intimate areas designed for lounging, and the menu is filled with specialty cocktails you won’t find anywhere else on the Strip – and this is all before you even step foot on the outdoor terrace where the elegant ambiance is carried through in every detail.
The Foundation Room offers VIP memberships with perks that include more exclusivity and privacy, VIP bottle service, invitations to special events, and more. Unfortunately, we can’t fill you in on all the secret details because we’re not VIP members but joining is on our Las Vegas bucket list.
Skyfall Lounge (Delano)
We love the view from the Skyfall Lounge. Many Las Vegas rooftop bars offer great views, but there’s nothing quite like being so up close to the light that emits from the Luxor at night, with the glittering backdrop of Las Vegas.
Located on the 64th floor of the Delano Las Vegas, we think Skyfall Lounge is perfect for enjoying craft cocktails and sharing a few fine-dining-style light nibbles with your favorite person. Of course, Skyfall Lounge is great for a group of friends, but we’ve found it to be a really nice experience for a date night in Las Vegas.
Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub
We’ve never had a problem finding a hot party scene in Las Vegas, but it’s hard for us to argue that there are any rooftop bars in Vegas that compete with Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub when it comes to non-stop energy, having absolutely no shortage of people to mingle with an insanely cool vibe and drinks that are not on the weak side.
Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub is located at the Cromwell Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. The Beach Club is located on a rooftop patio that sits eleven stories above Las Vegas Boulevard. There are multiple swimming pools, comfy poolside lounge furniture, DJs, an optional VIP experience, and a non-stop pool party. Phew, that’s quite the list!
Drai’s Nightclub is also one of the most sought-after club experiences in Las Vegas. The rooftop venue spans more than 70,000 sq ft. This is just one of those places that’s difficult to imagine in your mind until you actually see it.
The space includes a rooftop patio that the party overflows onto. With a 360-degree party experience, there’s really no other rooftop bar like this in Las Vegas.
Ghostbar (Palms)
Ghostbar isn’t technically located on the Las Vegas Strip, but it isn’t in Downtown Las Vegas either, so we decided to stick it into this section of our list. After all, it’s a Vegas rooftop bar that’s not to be missed, so we didn’t want to leave it out completely!
Ghostbar, located at the Palms Casino Resort, is an outdoor rooftop terrace that offers views of the entire city skyline. They claim there is no point in the city that isn’t visible from their elegant rooftop bar.
Comfy sofas and candlelight meet you on the terrace at night. This is the perfect spot for mingling or enjoying the sights of the city with someone special.
While the rooftop bar is great, we also have to give props to the atmosphere inside Ghostbar. Seductive lighting, live music (although not much is offered in terms of a dance floor), and plush lounges make this a very inviting spot.
Also, you’re not missing any views by enjoying your cocktail inside since Ghostbar features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a great view no matter where you’re sitting.
Rooftop Bars in Downtown Las Vegas
Legacy Club (Circa Resort)
If you’re looking for an elegant rooftop club & lounge, our recommendation goes to the Legacy Club at Circa Resort. Located on the rooftop, sixty floors up at Circa, this Vegas rooftop bar offers more of an intimate, swanky vibe that pays tribute to the luxury of old Vegas.
Sitting around the rooftop terrace fire pits with one of the Legacy Club’s signature cocktails in hand is one of our favorite experiences. The panoramic views of Downtown Las Vegas are among the best, and they also offer a Sunset Package where you can watch the sunset over the Las Vegas Valley with a flute of champagne in hand. If you’re looking for a romantic experience, this is it.
For a group of friends, the Movers & Shakers package is a great option. If your group includes ten or more, you get bottle service, champagne, and a charcuterie board that’s mouth-watering. Regardless of when you arrive or how many you’re with, the dress code is always elegant-casual.
Pro Tip – We really enjoy the create-your-own cocktail options, like the build-your-own old-fashioned.
Oak & Ivy
We love the atmosphere and culture of Downtown Las Vegas, which means that Oak & Ivy makes our list for being one of the best rooftop bars in Las Vegas. It’s located at the Downtown Container Park on Fremont Street. And, granted, it’s not the highest or largest rooftop bar in Las Vegas. We think it’s perfect for enjoying something from the selection of barrel-aged cocktails on the menu.
Oak & Ivy has been named one of the Top 50 Whiskey Bars in America, so if you love a glass of whiskey, this place is definitely worth a stop. Even if whiskey isn’t your thing, enjoying handcrafted cocktails, like a Chili Vanilli, Moscow Mule, or Ginny’s Fields with rhubarb gin on the rooftop terrace, is perfection – especially as the sun begins to set.
Commonwealth
Commonwealth offers a great location in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. This is one of the few rooftop bars in Las Vegas that offer panoramic views of the Fremont Street Experience. Commonwealth is a two-story bar with a wonderful rooftop terrace. There’s often a local DJ playing tunes, frequently hip-hop, but it’s not impossible to hear other types of music while you’re there.
Inside Commonwealth is where you’ll find the popular dance floor, which is great if that’s what you’re in the mood for. However, we tend to gravitate toward the rooftop patio and feel that it’s really the place to be.
Commonwealth creates a vibe that, to us, seems equally geared toward tourists and locals, so you’ll always find a mixed crowd here. We love the blend of industrial decor with elegant crystal chandeliers.
Commonwealth is also home to the Laundry Room – one of the most popular speakeasies in Las Vegas.
Downtown Terrace Kitchen & Bar
The Downtown Terrace Kitchen & Bar is one of the best rooftop bars in Las Vegas if you’re looking for a chill, unpretentious vibe. It’s not the largest rooftop venue, but it is a comfortable outdoor terrace that offers not only a full-service bar but also a tasty menu of elevated bar food.
The Downtown Terrace Kitchen is located at the Container Park on Fremont Street, so it’s a great place to enjoy a cocktail on the rooftop during the weekend or when there’s some type of event happening at the park.
Inspire
We’ve already mentioned a couple of rooftop bars that feature two different levels, but Inspire crushes that by being a three-story bar in Downtown Las Vegas.
The ground floor is right at the same level as the Fremont Street Experience and is as great for people-watching as it is for dancing and enjoying the ultimate Las Vegas club experience. The second floor offers more of an integrated experience between the indoor club and outdoor patio seating (not that you’ll spend too much time sitting), and the top floor is the rooftop patio with spectacular views.
Hours on the rooftop patio are limited to the weekends, so plan ahead if the rooftop experience at Inspire is on your list of things to do and see in Las Vegas.
Troy Liquor Bar
The Troy Liquor Bar claims to be the best nightlife in the Fremont Experience. That’s a pretty tall order, and we might not place them as our number one favorite, but they definitely make our list of the best rooftop bars in the city.
We greatly enjoy the handcrafted cocktails and the outdoor deck that gives a glimpse into the heart of the action of Fremont. This is an especially cool experience at night. The outdoor deck isn’t massive, but in this case, it’s all about the location, and Troy Liquor Bar has it.
This place also has a very strict dress code that they actively enforce. Dress nice, don’t have any visible tattoos on your face, neck, or head, and expect to have your attire assessed with an eagle eye.
