Most of the major resorts in Las Vegas offer their own brand of rewards programs for loyal guests and casino-goers. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas offer Wynn Rewards – a loyalty program that’s easy to join and provides incredible perks and rewards to all cardholders.
If you frequent Las Vegas often, you might not be too keen on joining yet another loyalty program. All those cards take up room in your wallet, and the apps take up room on your phone. However, from personal experience, we can make the argument that Wynn Rewards is worth it – especially if you enjoy time at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas casinos.
Joining Wynn Rewards
If you’re not a member of Wynn Rewards, it’s easy to join. You can either sign up online or become a member by visiting the Wynn Rewards desk located at Wynn & Encore Las Vegas or Encore Boston.
Signing up to become a Wynn Rewards member is super easy. All you need is your name and an email address for notification regarding your Wynn Rewards account. You’ll also need to provide the state you live in and your date of birth. You must be at least 21 years old to join the Wynn Rewards program.
Wynn Rewards Tiers
With their rewards program, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore offer three tier levels that are accessible based on your accumulated point value. The first tier, which every Wynn Rewards member starts out at, is the Red Level. Red Level rewards are for members who have accumulated 0 – 6,999 Rewards points.
Once a Rewards Member reaches the 7,000 point threshold, they reach the Platinum Tier. Members stay at this level until they reach 69,999 points, which means one can plan on staying at the Platinum Tier for quite a while. The exception here would be regular visitors to the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, especially those that spend significant time and money playing casino games.
The final Rewards tier is the Black Level. This is the most exclusive level of Wynn Rewards and is reserved for Wynn Rewards members who have earned at least 70,000 points. This is an exclusive level and offers the entire spectrum of Wynn Rewards benefits. There is one additional level, but it’s available by invitation only.
Tier Credits
Tier credits can be earned at Encore and Wynn Resorts Las Vegas by challenging lady luck and having some fun at the casino. How many points you earn depends on what type of game is calling your name, how long you play, and also your average bet.
How this breaks down is like this. Tier credits can be earned with table gameplay, playing video poker, and playing participating reel slots. The gaming and slot points earned are accumulated throughout the calendar year and do expire.
It’s the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that their gaming points are tracked accurately. To do this, you need to hand your Wynn Rewards membership card to the dealer when playing table games or by inserting your card when playing select slot machines and video poker machines.
Slot Points
Wynn and Encore Las Vegas offer a special type of member benefit called Slot Credit or Slot Points. These are points that can be used toward free gaming credits when playing select video poker & slot machines.
If you’re a casual gamer, you might find it difficult to take advantage of Slot Points because you need to accumulate a decent amount before they can be transferred over as free credit.
When playing slots on select machines, guests will earn one Slot Point for every $5 put into the machine. Once a threshold of 500 points is reached, the points are converted to a $5 free credit for free slot play.
For video poker, guests earn slot points for every $10 or $20 coin spent on the game. The value depends on which video poker machine is played. Similar to points for playing slots, members need to accumulate 500 points to receive a $5 free credit toward play.
Our take on Slot Points is…” eh.” It’s a feature that’s better than nothing, but the amount a member needs to spend playing slots and video poker to earn just $5 free credit seem a little paltry compared to the other benefits of Wynn Rewards.
Comp Dollars
Wynn Rewards Comp Dollars can be earned by presenting your Wynn Rewards Card when playing select table games, as well as when you play slots (select machines). Comp Dollars earnings can accumulate and be used toward services and experiences at Wynn Resorts.
The number of Comp Dollars earned depends on what type of game you play, how long you play, and how much is spent based on your average bet.
Comp Dollars are not earned when playing live poker, electronic table games (even in live dealer mode), or with race and sports betting.
Redeeming Comp Dollars
Comp Dollars can be redeemed by logging in and accessing your Wynn Rewards account. Comp Dollars can be redeemed for products, experiences, and services, including select retail stores, restaurants (participating locations), spa services, salon services, and the pro shop.
Expiration
Both Slots Points and Comp Dollars do expire, so you want to make sure to keep track of your Wynn Rewards account and the actual account balance so that you’re able to redeem them before they fall off the face of the earth.
Slot Points expire twelve months after the gaming play they are earned on, and members have 30 days to use any free credit that is awarded to them.
Comp Dollars Expire twelve months after they are issued. The exception to this is Comp Points earned at Encore Boston Harbor, which expire in six months.

Members can sign in and have their points traced for playing online casino games as long as online casino gaming is legal in the state they reside in. Select games are eligible for online casino bonuses. You’ll want to read over the rules and eligibility guidelines since not all online casino game-play options are eligible to earn points.
Points can be redeemed in the same ways as regular Wynn Rewards points and at the WynnBet Rewards Store. WynnBet FreePoints for free play can’t be earned on free bets, early cash-out bets, and canceled bets.
