The Sports Book at Wynn underwent an extensive renovation in 2017 and has now been transformed into a modern sportsbook though it is still not competitive with hotspots like Caesars Palace in terms of operations.

The sophisticated design is complemented by state-of-the-art technology, including a 1,600-square-foot wraparound LED screen. There is no bad seat in the house. However, visitors often report that the many TVs aren’t even displaying sports when they go and that they don’t offer Direct TV, so some games are unavailable.

Speaking of the seating – there is a plush lounge seating area, bar seating, and upholstered seats with personal monitors, lighting, and outlets. It is quite comfortable, though the seating and the look are essentially the top highlights of this sports book, leaving a lot to be desired in terms of service and operations.

With wall-to-wall screens and a variety of seating options, not to mention the free parking, the Wynn Hotel Sports Book is a destination for sports betting on Las Vegas Boulevard, but only if you are looking for appearances and a usually empty facility.

Luxury boxes can be reserved at the Sports Book at Wynn as well. These are perfect for gambling with a group of friends. Though there is a minimum bet amount, luxury boxes come with a private area, dedicated place-to-place wagers, food service from Charlie’s Sports Bar & Grill, and, of course, the best viewing location.

The Wynn Las Vegas Race & Sports Book operates an independent book with in-house staff. Due to its smaller size, the betting menu isn’t as large as some of the others you’ll see around Las Vegas. However, the Wynn Las Vegas Sportsbook still has a decent selection on its betting menu as long as you are not seeking custom wagers.

The sportsbook at the Wynn offers wagering on professional baseball, basketball, football (NFL), golf, hockey, MMA, NASCAR, soccer, tennis, and UFC. They also offer college football, baseball, and basketball.

During selected events, Wynn Sportsbook will add “prop bets” or “proposition bets,” which are bets made that do not directly affect an event’s outcome or final score. In addition, live wagering is available during commercial breaks for marquee events such as the Super Bowl.

Each Las Vegas sports book has different odds, which is essentially the amount of money that you could win for how much money you wager.

At the Wynn Sportsbook, the odds vary by sport and whether you place a parlay bet or a teaser bet. A parlay bet is where you tie two or more bets into one bet, and a teaser is a type of parlay in which you extend the point spreads of the game for an odds boost or to make it easier to win.

The full list of house rules can be found here, though you can expect rules like requiring individuals to be 21 years or older to bet per the Nevada state law, the right for the Wynn to accept, limit, or refuse any wager, and that winning tickets become void after 365 days.

When you walk in the main entrance of the Wynn Hotel, walk to the left, and you’ll see the sports book located adjacent to the Wynn Casino in-between Allegro and Charlie’s Bar & Grill.

Though reservations are not required at the Wynn Las Vegas Race & Sportsbook for the general access areas, you can make reservations to guarantee a particular seating area. Reservations are required for the private boxes.

Next door to the Wynn Sportsbook is Charlie’s Sports Bar & Grill, which debuted after the sports book renovation. It is named after Charlie Meyerson, a “super host” well-known around Las Vegas.

Charlie’s serves up American food with an elevated twist, such as burgers stacked sky high on soft Challah buns and a massive all-beef Chicago dog. They also have shakes, floats, a vast selection of rotating craft beers, and 16 beers on tap.

It is important to note that Charlie’s Bar & Grill accepts winning tickets and casino chips in addition to cash payment. Additionally, Charlie’s Bar & Grill requires resort–casual attire.
