The atmosphere is lively, to say the least. The crowd tends to be primarily made up of tourists, with the exception of Las Vegas locals who want to earn points on the Caesars Rewards loyalty program while they gamble.

It’s loud, slightly smokey, and easy to lose track of time in the casino. People come for the penny slots as much as they do for the sports book, poker room, and table games. While the casino itself doesn’t have an extensive menu of drinks, the gaming floor is surrounded by bars and restaurants serving specialty cocktails and delicious food. 

There are a total of 185 table games at Caesars Palace. It would take forever to cover them all, but we wanted to highlight some of our favorite table games and the ones that are most popular among guests. 

Some table games are all about luck, while others require a level of skill, but don’t be intimidated! If you’re new to table games, look for a game that isn’t too busy during a time when the casino floor is quieter. Of course, it’s never really quiet, but a Tuesday afternoon is certainly less busy than a Saturday night. If there’s not a long line of people waiting to play behind you, the pit boss will have more time to explain the game while you play, making it easier to play next time around. 

Roulette

Roulette is the definition of winning by chance. There is no skill involved, just pure luck. The spinning wheel has numbers 1 to 36, plus 0 and 00. A small ball is dropped on the wheel while it spins, and you can place bets on where it will land. You can bet red or black, even or odd, individual numbers, and intersections of up to 5 numbers simultaneously. This is a super quick table game, so we never leave without playing at least once! 

Blackjack

Blackjack is often considered the OG of table games, and it’s a guaranteed good time, but even better if you win big. The game is simple – get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over, and you win. 

Regular blackjack players often have a strategy they swear by, but there is no exact science to it. Hit, stand, split, and double on different cards as you try to get close to 21. After a few games, you’ll start to develop your own strategy or “rules” of how you use certain cards during the game to increase your odds of winning. 

Craps

Craps is a popular table game, but it is a bit intimidating. There’s lots of special lingo to learn along the way and numerous betting options. Luckily, it’s a very social game! The whole table of Craps players can win or lose together, so other players are generally willing to help you learn the ropes.

Caesars Palace has a few rules in place to keep things safe and fun for everyone. The first rule is simple but heavily enforced. You must be at least 21 years old to gamble in any Las Vegas casino, and yes, they will check your ID. 

Smoking is allowed in the casino but prohibited in nearby non-gaming areas. There isn’t a strict dress code, and casual resort wear is worn by most people, but always avoid swimwear if you aren’t in the pool complex.

If you want to play poker, step into the 4,500-square-foot poker room located in the heart of the gaming floor. It sits between The Colosseum and the Sportsbook. Finding the casino floor at Caesars Palace is incredibly easy. In fact, it would be harder to walk through the resort without walking into it!! 

Both the S Las Vegas Blvd entrance and the rear Caesars Forum Shops entrance bring you directly into the casino floor. The rear entrance is surrounded by slots, while the S Las Vegas Blvd entrance welcomes you with slots on one side and table games on the other. You can also enter the gaming floor from the Forum Food Court.

The Augustus Tower, Octavius Tower, and Nobu Hotel are the only areas inside the resort where you can get to and from your room without passing it.
