Back in the days of ancient Rome, people would attend gladiator fights at the Colosseum. Leave it to Caesars Palace to create a very similar venue designed to be one of the most iconic entertainment venues in Las Vegas. If you haven’t guessed already, we’re talking about the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Getting tickets to a show at the Colosseum is a lot like winning the jackpot in a lottery. You know you’re going to have a good time! Let’s look at this venue and why you will love it.
About the Colosseum at Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace opened up the Colosseum in 2003, and since that time, it’s been an iconic part of the Las Vegas Strip. The Colosseum was actually built around the now-defunct Circus Maximus portion of Caesars Palace.
Modeled after the original Colosseum in Rome, you get a lot of Ancient Rome with modern facilities, shows in an intimate setting, and cool seating. Since its opening, the Colosseum has hosted acts like Celine Dion, Elton John, Mariah Carey, and Jerry Seinfeld.
Stage & Sound

You can’t have a place for the greatest entertainers in the world without having a great stage and sound system. 200 acoustical panels give the theater an amazingly intimate and clear sound.
Oh, and if you want to see a lot of special effects during a performance, you will find it here. 10 floating panels make up the stage, which means that you can expect plenty of movement on any given night.
Seating

If you’re in search of a large venue, this is it. The venue features over 4,300 different seats to choose from, ranging from a “standing area” to a more intimate banquet area that comes with bottle service.
This is our favorite theater in all of Las Vegas! The seats are wide and comfortable, and you won’t have any trouble sitting for 2 hours for any show.
All the venue’s seats involve a lot of intimacy and closeness. The furthest seat from the orchestra/performance pit is only 147 feet away from it. So, it’s safe to say you’ll get a good look at the band playing.
If you have a large party and want to attend a show at the Colosseum, you can actually book that ahead of time. The Colosseum has a special service for larger groups that want to rent a specific section together. Calling ahead is a wise move!
