Celine Dion has had successful Las Vegas residencies for nearly two decades, but she won’t be returning to Las Vegas in 2023 as initially planned. Fans were anticipating a new Las Vegas Residency at Caesars Palace this year until Celine Dion had to make a heartbreaking announcement in 2022 revealing her battle with a rare medical condition, Stiff Person Syndrome. 

It’s hard to say if she will return for another Las Vegas residency in the years to come, but there’s no doubt she helped pave the way for other artists to have successful Las Vegas residencies.

Dates: August 24, 2011 – November 22, 2023

Rod Stewart has been doing Las Vegas residencies since 2011, and he’s back again for select dates in May and November of 2023. This Las Vegas residency is called The Hits, and the intention is to celebrate his five decades in the music industry as a rock icon. Any rock fan knows who Rod Stewart is and how influential he’s been to music over the years, so jump on this opportunity to see him live in Las Vegas!

Dates: October 29, 2021 – April 9, 2023

Sting is a 17-time grammy winner who got his start as part of The Police, but his solo career has seen a lot of success over the years too. With a combined 100 million albums sold, it’s safe to say people love Sting! The Sting Las Vegas residency is being held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, with shows scheduled through April 2023. Carrie Underwood: Reflection is starting its second year of residency at Resorts World Las Vegas. This has been the first-ever residency for the country music star, and fans have been loving it! The concerts are high-energy, with the greatest hits from every era of this American Idol winner’s discography.

The reviews of her Las Vegas residency shows so far have been nothing but positive, and it’s only going to get better. As a bonus, Resorts World Theatre is one of the most comfortable theaters on the Strip, with good views and sound quality from every seat. 

Dates: September 23, 2022 – December 16, 2023

Planet Hollywood Resort is hosting Miranda Lambert’s Las Vegas residency shows at Zappos Theater. Lambert has been crowned the queen of modern country with a staggering 37 ACM awards! The residency is named Velvet Rodeo, with many of her iconic hits on the setlist, including “Kerosene,” “Gun Powder n Lead,” “Only Prettier,” and “White Liar.” The residency began in September of 2022, but there are shows scheduled through December 2023.

Dates: November 18, 2022 – March 25, 2023

Adele is a 15-time grammy winner with unbridled natural talent and soul that’s highlighted during every live performance. Her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been receiving rave reviews since it began in November 2022. The residency at Caesars Palace will continue until March 2023, with performances that will leave the audience speechless.

Bruno Mars is arguably one of the most talented performers of his generation, with 15 grammy wins and a range of musical styles that includes R&B, pop, reggae, disco, funk, soul, and rock. His stage performances have retro showmanship and an abundance of passion for music and the art of a good performance. 

The Bruno Mars Las Vegas residency is only scheduled to last until February 14, but it’s not uncommon for more dates to be added for high-demand artists like him. The residency show will be held at Dolby Live Theatre at Park MGM. The setlist includes an excellent variety of Bruno’s biggest hits to showcase the multiple genres he can sing, so there’s something for every fan to enjoy.

Dates: January 14, 2023 – January 18, 2023

Legendary singer and songwriter Lionel Richie will be performing in Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas for select dates in January 2023. While the concert series is too short to technically qualify as a residency, we’ll make an exception for this timeless talent. Join Lionel Richie for an intimate evening highlighting his most popular songs over the years.

Dates: January 14, 2023 – June 28, 2023

Mr. Las Vegas is starting a new Las Vegas residency at Flamingo in 2023. Wayne Newton gained the nickname of Mr. Las Vegas after having multiple highly successful residencies, and his shows never disappoint. The Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal residency shows will happen every Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday at Bugsby’s Cabaret inside the Wayne Newton Theater. 

No other living performer embodies the spirit of Sin City better than Wayne Newton. Experiencing one of his Las Vegas shows is almost a right of passage for frequent Vegas visitors, and it’s unlike any other Las Vegas residency show you’ll see.

Luke Bryan is one of the best-selling country artists, with more than 75 million records sold. He’s a 5-time Entertainer of the Year winner and received the first-ever Album of the Decade award from the Academy of Country Music in 2019. Now, Luke Bryan is bringing his talents to the Strip with a Las Vegas residency show at Resorts World Las Vegas!

His electric performances are known to get fans on their feet, to sing and dance along through every song. See one of Bryan’s Las Vegas shows at Resorts World Theatre with dates from February to April. 

Dates: February 15, 2023 – April 15, 2023

Katy Perry: Play! The Las Vegas Residency is coming to Resorts World Las Vegas with 14 scheduled shows from February to April. Katy Perry is known for putting on big productions with one-of-a-kind stage sets and costumes to match. 

Although this isn’t the longest residency happening in 2023, it’s sure to be one of the biggest Las Vegas residencies on the Strip in terms of production value. Get into the spirit of Sin City with a setlist that includes “Waking Up in Vegas,” “TGIF,” and “Firework.” 

Dates: February 24, 2023 – July 15, 2023

Usher has seen a lot of success as a singer, songwriter, and A-list celebrity over the years. This eight-time grammy winner will be giving fans a show to remember, with residency dates from February to July. The Usher My Way Las Vegas residency is set to happen at Dolby Live Theatre, formerly Park Theater.

Usher is known for his captivating stage presence and ability to engage the audience throughout the performance. His setlist will include some of his biggest throwback hits like “Yeah!” and “DJ Got Us Falling In Love,” as well as favorites from his newer albums. 

Dates: March 24, 2023 – August 12, 2023

Maroon5 is a pop rock band led by Adam Levine with many big-time hits like “Payphone,” “Sugar,” “Girls Like You,” and “She Will Be Loved.” The band will bring plenty of pop-rock energy to Park MGM’s Dolby Live Theatre in 2023! The residency begins in March, with dates scheduled through August. See Maroon 5 live-performing hits from all their greatest albums with shows that will be full of fun, passion, and incredible talent.

Dates: May 18, 2023 – December 16, 2023

Garth Brooks/Plus ONE The Las Vegas Residency will be a unique experience each and every night for country music fans. The residency will be held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from May to December. It’s been promised that no two residency shows or performances will be the same. 

There are surprise special guests, varying band members, and plenty of excitement planned to keep every residency show fresh. Garth Brooks has gained popularity over the decades by incorporating pop and rock elements into classic country music that appeals to a wide audience.
