Las Vegas is a sight to be seen during the day, but once the sun goes down is really when the city comes to life. The iconic neon signs and bright lights that make up the Las Vegas night sky must be experienced to be truly appreciated. You could venture out on your own, but a Las Vegas night tour is an even more fun way to experience the entertainment capital of the world.
There are all types of night tours for every taste and every budget. Here, we’ve rounded up the tours that we feel are the best of the best.
Big Bus Vegas Night Tour
The open-top, double-decker Big Bus Tour is considered “THE” Las Vegas night tour. For starters, it’s reasonably affordable at $55. Sure, you could try to see the city yourself for free, but you’d likely miss out on a lot, and this way, someone else is dealing with traffic, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy.
Big Bus Tours is famous in Las Vegas. You often see the double-decker open-top bus making its way along the Strip and through downtown Vegas. One of the reasons they’re one of our favorite night tours is that you get to see all of Las Vegas rather than being limited to the Strip or downtown area.
The Big Bus Night Tour lasts about three hours, so you definitely get your money’s worth. It starts out along the famous Las Vegas Strip and makes its way to the Fremont Street Experience, and then brings you back to the bus loading zone and the Linq Big Bus stop. During the tour, you’ll see historical landmarks, like the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, the Bellagio Fountains, the lights of the Las Vegas Strip, and then the historic downtown area – and all of it is from the upper deck of the open-top double-decker bus.
Once you’re downtown, the guided tour lets you off at the Golden Nugget near the Fremont Street Experience for an hour of free time. There is a lot to do and see in this part of Las Vegas, so make sure you keep track of time and don’t get yourself into too much trouble!

Helicopter Night Flight Tour
If you’re interested in a night-time tour of Las Vegas that’s also an exciting adventure, we recommend seeing all the sights from high up in the air — from the view of a helicopter.
While this one is definitely more expensive than the Big Bus Tours, the view of Sin City from high above is incredible. You’ll see the dancing fountains of Bellagio as they shoot high into the air and other iconic sights of the Strip, including Caesars Palace, the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas, the High Roller, all the neon lights of the Las Vegas Strip, and more. This also takes you into downtown Las Vegas.
There are a few different companies that offer a helicopter panoramic night tour, but Maverick is one of our favorites. The tour lasts about 15 minutes, with the departure and return happening at the airport. You are responsible for your own transportation to the airport with the regular tour package, but there is a shuttle upgrade option available as long as you’re staying on or within close proximity to the Strip.

Bright Lights By Night Jeep Tour
Pink Jeep Tours is well-known for its fabulous and entertaining Las Vegas tours. While many of the tours they offer whisk you off to the natural sights outside of Las Vegas, they do offer their Bright Lights night tour of the city.
The tour actually starts at 6:30 pm, so you’re getting started right before dusk falls. We really like this one because of all the Las Vegas tours we’ve been on; we think this one does an exceptional job of providing a great narrative on the history of Las Vegas and all sorts of interesting tidbits for each location you stop at.
Some interesting highlights of this tour are a stop at the Fabulous Las Vegas Sign, the iconic Las Vegas wedding chapels, the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop; the Fremont Street Experience, plus this has been the only night tour we’ve been on that also includes a ride on the High Roller Observation Wheel.
By the end, you get to see Las Vegas life illuminated with all of the lights in their full glory.

Limo Night Tour
In a city like Las Vegas, is there a more appropriate way to experience the Strip at night than enjoying the sights from a luxury limo, sipping on champagne the entire time? If you’re looking for a night tour of Las Vegas that’s a little extra, a limo is the way to go.
You can find limo tours that are specifically designed for the nighttime viewing experience, or you can book a regular limo tour and just choose nighttime hours. When choosing a limo tour, you want to decide if you’re interested in staying on the Strip or if you want to venture into downtown and Fremont Street.
From our experience, most limo tours tend to focus mainly on the Strip but last a couple of hours, so you have the opportunity to get out of the limo and enjoy some of the sights. Almost all also include a stop at the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign and even the option of a professional photographer to tag along and capture all the moments. This is a great option for special occasions, such as bachelor/bachelorette parties, wedding parties, birthdays, and anniversaries.

Walking Night Tour – Fremont After Dark
Seeing the lights of the Strip is a must when you’re in Las Vegas, but we don’t want the value of Downtown Vegas at night to go unnoticed, either. Las Vegas Walking Tours offers a Fremont After Dark Tour that covers all the highlights of Fremont, all the way to the Container Park and everything in between.
The guided walking tour takes about 2 hours from start to finish and is a great way to experience Fremont while accompanied by a tour guide that offers great insights and historical information to allow you to see it all in a new way.
It’s fun to see all of the street artists and costumed entertainers along Fremont (we’re not going to complain about free live entertainment!). You’ll see the Union Station site, Glitter Gulch, The Golden Nugget, Shark Tank Pool, a flame-throwing mantis, restaurants, bars, and the locations of the Neon Museum and the Mob Museum.
It isn’t exactly exploring Fremont at your own pace, but it’s definitely a slower, more thorough experience than you often get when traveling by vehicle.

Downtown Las Vegas Evening Tour by Segway
Segway Las Vegas offers tours that are detailed as walking tours – but you get to save some stress on your feet; plus riding on a Segway is fun!
The Las Vegas City Lights Evening Segway Tour isn’t exactly Las Vegas at night, but it is Sin City at dusk and immediately after – which is a really cool sight on its own. The pinkish hues of the sky combined with the lights on Fremont are perfect partners.
As you journey through downtown, you’ll eventually find yourself at the Container Park, which twinkles at night. Along the way, you’ll see and learn about the historical aspects of downtown and Fremont.
Have you never been on a Segway before? Don’t worry. Your guide will make sure you’re comfortable and confident in your skills before you take off. It’s a relatively short learning curve. You’ll be fine!

Las Vegas at Night Sidecar Tour
A motorcycle sidecar tour is a fun and different way to explore Las Vegas at night. Retro Tour offers sidecar tours for one or two people. Only one person can sit in the sidecar, but if there are two of you, one will sit behind the driver. If your group is larger than two, all you need to do is reserve additional bikes, and you can all still enjoy the experience together.
Stops include many along the Las Vegas Strip, including the Paris Hotel, the Venetian Hotel, Wynn, the Strat, New York, New York (home of the Big Apple Coaster), and the Luxor Hotel. The itinerary doesn’t mention stops at Caesar’s Palace, the Linq Promenade, MGM Grand, Excalibur Hotel, or
In the downtown area, you’ll stop at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, Mob Museum, Neon Museum, Fremont, and the Arts District.
