Seating
The MGM Grand Garden Arena boasts over 17,000 seats in its 30-year-old venue. The best seats for any event are in the Premium Loge Seating area, but you will pay a premium price for your tickets!
Premium Loge Seating includes first-class amenities, personal service during the show, and a semi-private setting to watch the show. Tickets for these seats also have complimentary access to Sky Vodka Lounge.
General admission seating brings you closest to the stage, making it difficult to see the entire stage clearly for some events. It’s like being in the front row at the movie theater – sometimes, being the closest to the stage doesn’t mean having the best view!
There are three tiers of lower seating, which is the best option if you want a guaranteed good view without paying for Premium Loge Seats.
You’re far enough back to get a good view, but not so far you’re struggling to see. The sound quality is also excellent in these lower sections, especially those across from the stage, like sections 1, M2, M3, U2, and U3.
The upper seating levels are furthest from the stage and offer the most affordable ticket pricing. While the view from these sections isn’t as great, it’s still not bad!
Large display screens give you a closer look at what’s happening on stage, and the sound quality is still very good.
When it comes to choosing your seats, it really depends on your budget and the type of event you’re attending. For instance, sitting in a section to the right or left of the stage area can be annoying during a concert but ideal for a championship-fighting match.
Parking
One of the reasons why people love getting event tickets at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is that you get to use the onsite MGM Grand parking.
- MGM hotel guests get parking included as part of their hotel bill and have the right to stay there until 11:59 PM on checkout day.
- All guests have their first hour of parking free, but you will be charged after that.
- Nevada residents get three hours of free parking instead of one.
- You can buy pre-paid parking spaces on the night of the event.
- There are EV charging stations located inside the car park, though they are limited.
- MGM Grand Rewards members get discounts on parking and may receive perks with their tickets.
- Both Valet and Self-park services are available.
- The price of parking is subject to change, especially during larger events.
Location
The MGM Grand Garden Arena is located in the District portion of the MGM Grand Grounds, next to Blizz, Morimoto, and International Smoke Las Vegas. When in doubt, ask an MGM Grand staff member where the Grand Garden Arena is.
Venue Policies
Like with any arena in Vegas, there are strict policies in place to keep everyone inside the venue safe. Here are some of the most important policies you should know:
- Tickets are generally non-refundable.
- No bags are allowed unless it’s a small purse.
- You cannot bring professional photography equipment to the event, including laptops, tripods, and selfie sticks.
- Unruly and unlawful behavior will end with you being sent home early.
- Do not bring in outside food or drinks. If you need to avoid upcharges inside, you can grab food at one of the many tasty MGM Grand restaurants before the show.
- Don’t bring any large signs or flags.
Accessibility
MGM Garden Arena does an excellent job of making everyone feel welcome, including those with disabilities.
Accessible seating is available in multiple spots throughout the arena. You should filter tickets by those that are accessible before making a purchase, but if you forget, contacting the box office as far in advance as possible before the event makes it likely they can exchange your seating for something more accessible.
Interpreting services and assisted listening devices are available by request, but again, the sooner you can tell the box office about your needs, the smoother your experience will be during the event.
Service animals are welcome with proper documentation, but the owner is responsible for cleaning up after the pet.
