This area has been called The Fruit Loop for decades. Though the name was originally controversial in the gay community, the name has since been embraced.

Though there are several other gay bars, clubs, and lounges in Las Vegas, The Fruit Loop only consists of a small section of East Naples Drive near the University District and north of the Harry Reid International Airport. Take a look at this map, so you know where you are going!
Best Gay Bars & Clubs in the Fruit Loop
Though the reviews are mixed, and you may not get a cheap drink, Piranha Nightclub is one of the best options in The Fruit Loop for dancing and a club environment.
In fact, it has been voted the best gay bar/nightclub in Las Vegas for the last six years! The prices are maybe a bit higher than many are used to, but they are right on par in the Las Vegas market, and their drink specials are fantastic.
Piranha frequently hosts theme nights like Latin Tuesdays and “On Wednesdays We Wear Pink.” Each night, the nightclub has a different drag queen providing entertainment or even a few queens, and occasionally they bring guest DJs.
As far as cover charges, at Piranha Nightclub, you can expect to get in for free Monday through Wednesday and sometimes Thursdays. Other times, your cover can be paid at the door or purchased online in advance.

Free Zone is a welcoming nightclub for the LGTBQ+ community. It has drinks, food, and a dance floor making it a versatile place to hang out. Free Zone also hosts several events ranging from drag performances and exotic dancers as well as things like karaoke and comedy. Locals and tourists alike flock to this pride-friendly sexy establishment.
Free Zone is also one of the best places in town for drinks as they have all-you-can-drink specials, a 12-hour happy hour, and a late-night $3 drink. It is particularly popular on Thursday nights, too!
QuadZ Video Lounge
QuadZ Video Lounge is a video gaming lounge and bar open 24/7. If you are looking for a dive bar, this is the location for you.
QuadZ has all the bar activities you expect, like darts, a pool, arcade games, and video poker. It may not be a full casino, but it does have plenty of things to entertain.
Like several other gay bars on The Fruit Loop, QuadZ Video Lounge also hosts special events with discounts on drinks several nights of the week, usually on weekends.
For instance, Electric Thursdaze features Electronic Dance Music. QuadZ frequently has DJs taking requests and streaming music videos to watch on various flat-screen TVs.

Fun Hog Ranch
Fun Hog Ranch may not be in The Fruit Loop District, but it is under two miles up the road and is definitely somewhere you can’t miss if you are in the area. Fun Hog is an LGTBQ+/gay bar with various daily drink specials and a laid-back attitude.
Exposed wood, rustic decor, and booths create a casual, comfortable, relaxing environment. You’ll also notice that many patrons at Fun Hog are dressed in leatherwear, so feel free to wear what you please.
The Garage gets its name from its resemblance to an autobody shop. However, there is no car repair going on there.
Instead, you’ll find a welcoming gay bar with shuffleboard, video poker, pool, darts, and fantastic daily drink specials like a two-for-one happy hour. The Garage also has a nice outdoor patio and a pretty extensive grill menu with tasty bites made to order.
If you have already made your rounds at The Fruit Loop, The Garage is worth the short, five-minute drive for a visit.
Hamburger Mary’s is known for their various drag performances, drag bingo, juicy burgers, and its infamous drag brunch. They also have some scandalous, boozy, but tasty cocktails!
Hamburger Mary’s is also only a two-minute car trip from The Garage or six minutes if you are walking.

Hyatt Place Las Vegas
After a night of partying in The Fruit Loop District, it’s nice to head to a nearby hotel. Hyatt Place Las Vegas is close to The Fruit Loop clubs and other restaurants, making it quite a convenient location.
It is a three-star hotel with all the amenities you expect and some that are hard to find in Las Vegas, like free parking, internet, and breakfast, as well as pet-friendly rooms. Rates start at around $100 per night, so it’s an affordable option.
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, owned by Hilton, is the way to go if you are looking for a close hotel that is an experience all on its own.
This one is right up the road from your favorite gay bars and has a casino, restaurants, bars, pools, and a spa making it the perfect place to recover from a night of dancing. You can snag a room for just over $100, depending on the time of year.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Las Vegas
Embassy Suites is right across the street from Virgin Hotels, an all-suite hotel with a beautiful lush tropical atrium. In addition to clean rooms, Embassy Suites has a heated pool, an onsite restaurant, and free breakfast!
Though rates can be as low as $120, Friday through Sunday, the rates tend to be much higher.
