Wayne Newton Show Setlist

The Wayne Newton residency shows don’t have a secured setlist. Instead, entertainment superstar Wayne Newton will do what he does best by engaging the audience. The show will include a lot of audience interaction as he opens up to share personal career highlights with songs, film clips, and a Q & A. There are even videos with music icons Glen Campbell and Jack Benny.

This intimate setting with personal stories being shared makes each show a unique experience, unlike other Las Vegas residencies.

Wayne Newton performs some of his biggest hits throughout the show as well. His iconic signature song is “Danke Schoen” from the album Midnight Idol. Other hit singles include “Summer Wind,” “Viva Las Vegas,” “At This Moment,” and “Red Roses for a Blue Lady.” Wayne Newton currently has 165 albums, so there are plenty of choices for favorite songs.

Schedule & Showtimes

There is a total of 70 shows scheduled for the 2023 Las Vegas residency of Wayne Newton. Shows are scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday beginning January 16th. All shows begin at 7 PM with an estimated 80-minute show length.

Bugsy’s Cabaret at the Flamingo

Bugsy’s Cabaret at the Flamingo

Wayne Newton will perform shows at Wayne Newton Theater inside Bugsy’s Cabaret at the Flamingo. This intimate venue has limited seating options, but that’s not a bad thing. Sections 1, 2, and 3 all offer a good view of the stage with decent sound quality. Sections 1 and 3 are the closest to the stage, while section 2 sits a bit further back but is more centered.

At the back of the space, there are two general admission areas. These seats are the furthest from the stage, and tickets here are priced the lowest. General admission tickets don’t get you as close to the stage, but the ambiance of Bugsy’s Cabaret still shines through.

Wayne Newton’s Las Vegas House

Wayne Newton’s famous Las Vegas House, Casa de Shenandoah, was first purchased by the entertainer in 1966. The main mansion on the property was completed in 1978. The estate acted as Wayne Newton’s permanent residence for years until he started the process of turning it into a public attraction in 2010.

This proposition of creating a public attraction of the house created more issues than anyone could have expected. The house was sold in 2013 and again in 2014 before finally opening as a public attraction in 2015. At this time, Wayne Newton was involved in the attraction. People were able to come to tour the house and property until April 2018, when it closed for renovations.

Although it was expected to reopen to the public, that never happened. The property was sold in 2019 to SmokeTree LLC, who put the house up for sale again just a year later. The future of the famous house is unknown, but it would be surprising if it never becomes a Wayne Newton attraction again.

This stunning property holds a lot of history of Wayne Newton’s life and has the potential to become many different things. Alternatively, it could be sold to an independent buyer and used as a private residence; only time will tell.
