- Tahiti Village: Tahiti Village heats its pool complex throughout the winter and is the only one that has a lazy river that stays open.
- Downtown Grand: Downtown Grand shuts down their poolside drinks and food in the winter, but the deck and pool stay open.
- Red Rock: Only the main pool remains open all year, while their smaller ones close seasonally.
- South Point: The South Point pool remains available year-round for guests with the occasional closure for maintenance, but there is no lifeguard on duty or pool bar during the winter.
What Time of Day do Vegas Pools Close?
Las Vegas pools close early compared to others across the nation. You can expect most Las Vegas hotel pools to close around the time of sunset, which is between 5 and 8 p.m., depending on the time of year.
This is because not only do Las Vegas hotels want guests to be inside spending money at the casino, but it is also a greater liability to ensure safety after dark, and the night temperature isn’t ideal for swimming.
However, you can often find Las Vegas hotels that host nighttime pool parties after they close regular operations.
Alternatives If the Pool is Closed
Visit a Year-round Pool
Most hotels with at least one pool open throughout the year allow non-hotel guests into their pool complex for an admission fee. This way, even if you stay at a resort that closes its pool, you can still get the Las Vegas luxury resort pool experience.
