Barry’s Downtown Prime Steaks & Cocktails is a classic steakhouse serving the city’s finest steaks, fresh table-side presentations, and creative cocktails. It’s the latest steakhouse concept from Make It Happen Hospitality, with Chef Barry Dakake’s talent at the helm. Barry’s oozes old-school-style, vintage glamour and is where history and hospitality meet modern innovation.

Their outstanding service is as impressive as the menu. Try selections such as the Fettucine Carbonara Bone Marrow Luge for an appetizer, the 12-ounce Rib Cap “Barry’s Steak” for a main paired with Whole Maine Lobster Mac ‘N Cheese on the side, and Tahitian Baked Alaska for dessert.

The wine menu is extensive and has an offering for every taste, though the cocktails are unique and creative. Opt for the cocktail cart to get your drink made tableside, or go with one of the original cocktails, such as the Banana Boat or Queen’s Mule.

Though you might not expect a steakhouse to have vegan options, Barry’s has an entire vegan menu. It features tasty plant-based dishes such as Vegan Ceviche, Vegetable Meatloaf, and Roasted Asparagus Soup. For those who are alcohol-free, there is an entire mocktail menu as well.

Barry’s Downtown Prime Steaks & Cocktails is open daily for dinner service beginning at 5 p.m. The restaurant closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Reservations are required for the main dining room, though walk-ins are welcome at the bar, which serves the full menu, too.

Saginaw’s Delicatessen features sandwiches that are both giant and delicious.

Saginaw’s famous Reuben is a must-have though there are other favorites on the menu like prime rib, onion rings, latkes, chopped liver, and matzo ball soup. In addition, since it’s open 24/7, there are some tasty breakfast selections, too.

Saginaw’s is the creation of Paul Saginaw, the co-founder of Zingerman’s Deli, which was voted one of the best sandwich shops in the world, so you know it is the real deal.

Victory Burger & Wings is a traditional sports bar with a modern twist. It is the latest from the owners of the American Coney Island in Detroit.

The menu offers mouthwatering specialty burgers like the half-pound victory burger (there are five specialty burgers in total), a tasty selection of wings, and traditional game-day appetizers. The Vegas Martini Burger is another interesting option consisting of a half-pound beef patty topped with a homemade olive sauce.

Their draft line-up is enough to please anyone, while their milkshakes are not to be missed either.

They’re open daily for lunch and dinner beginning at 10 a.m. and stay open late on weekends. Reservations are not required.

8 East is brought to you by Chef Can Coughlin and the creators behind Le Thai on Fremont East. 8 East is inspired by metropolitan Asian food markets where you can savor sharable dishes from a Pan Asian menu.

One of Coughlin’s signature Chinese, Shangdu, Szechuan, or Thai sauces is served with almost each menu item to take the flavors to the next level as well. If you are looking for a restaurant to experience Pan Asian cuisine from all over Asia, 8 East is a top choice.

Try small plates like the Musubi Bites with a sesame aioli and shoyu glaze or an entree like Lobster Fried Rice stir-fried in Thai waterfall sauce. You can’t skip the Thai Tea Creme Brulee, either! Allergies and food preferences are clearly marked on the menu so vegans, vegetarians, and pescatarians can easily find items to accommodate them.

8 East is open for lunch, dinner, and late nights on the weekends with varying hours. It is important to note that 8 East is within the Circa Resort casino, which is a 21 and older establishment, so guests must be aged 21+.

A reservation is recommended, though a portion of the bar and dining room is saved for last-minute walk-ins.

Project BBQ, run by Chef Rex Bernales, is the only permanent food truck and the first South Carolina BBQ joint in Downtown Las Vegas.

One of the menu highlights is the Garbage Bowl with handmade potato chips topped with their signature meats and slathered in South Carolina BBQ and beer cheese sauces.

Despite being a food truck right on the Fremont Street Experience, they do have a “backyard” area that is covered, sectioned off, and has tables so you can enjoy your BBQ comfortably.

Jack Pots is a modern cafe at Circa Resort Las Vegas that serves Zingerman’s specialty coffee in addition to breakfast selections and fresh lunches.

Though their coffee is already made from the best selection of beans, a new exclusive blend is coming soon to Circa Resort as well. You can get a taste of the exclusive blend at the sister property, the D Las Vegas, located right down the road.

Jack Pots is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can always get a pick-me-up before seeing Vegas Vickie at the lobby bar or hitting all the action on Fremont Street.
