Crepe Expectations

Crepe Expectations is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas off the strip serving both sweet and savory crepes that are out of this world!

When you walk up to Crepe Expectations in Las Vegas, nestled unassumingly in a strip mall in Vegas, you first see happy diners outside at a few tables.

As you make your way inside, you are greeted by Lou – one of the nicest, most welcoming guys you’ll ever meet. He showed us where and how to order, where everything was on the menu, and pointed out a few of his favorites and specials.

Watch Your Crepe Being Made

After you place your order, you can watch the magic happen because the kitchen and the dining room are only separated by a clear glass partition. You can even watch the crepe irons on a TV above for a close-up view! You feel like you’ve walked into your family home, and are a part of the action.

I have a sweet tooth and went for the sweet crepes, so I tried the William Tell, which has sauteed apples and caramel and topped with a decadent dollop of homemade whipped cream. Yum! This crepe was chocked full of apples and easily makes a complete breakfast!

I was surprised to learn that they had savory crepes as well, which is what sold my husband Bob on the place. He’s not much of a standard sweet crepe fan. So, he had the Little Italy with soup. Both were fantastic! Who knew you could have such a tasty crepe made with pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and a homemade marinara sauce?!
