In Las Vegas’ neon world, stepping into Genting Palace feels like being taken to a whole different era. The interior features lavish velvet seating and contemporary accessories. It is an exquisite blend of new and old mixed with Asiatic accents that will never grow out of style.

To welcome guests is an imposing moon-shaped entryway carved out of black wood. The same details are seen all around the lounge area and main dining room, but the floors and lighting make a clear distinction between the spaces.

Genting Palace’s lounge features a stylish marble bar with fashion accent chairs. Round coffee tables and comfortable chairs covered in jungle-themed/animal-print upholstery provide a cozy place for those who want to enjoy handmade cocktails or an abridged menu.

The main dining room features lime green chairs and floral carpet floors. Semicircular booths line the area, while the tables are covered in light beige tablecloths. 

The final touches in this elegant fine dining atmosphere are brought by modern lantern-shaped lights and cherry blossom panels on the walls, all of which perfectly complement the authentic Chinese cuisine on the menu.

Beyond the magical atmosphere, Genting Palace offers an exquisite menu of authentic Chinese food, but guests can enjoy the exceptional tasting menu as well as the happy hour if they’d rather grab a bite than have a full dinner.

Guests having a hard time picking their favorite thing – or those who’re not quite sure what to pick – can opt for the 6-course tasting menu.

This Chinese cuisine journey starts with chilled marinated sliced abalone, jellyfish, and sweet and spicy sauce, only to pass to crispy Peking duck skin, foie gras, and chilled drunken chicken as appetizers.

The first course consists of a creamy poached sliced scallop soup with shimeji mushrooms, while the main course delights the palate with wok-fried beef tenderloin dipped in the restaurant’s signature black pepper sauce.

Genting Palace’s tasting menu also includes a side of black truffle crab meat fried rice. Everything is crowned with a delicious dessert – chilled almond float with assorted fruits and orange tuille.

The tasting menu is complete and affordable for a fine dining menu. Wine pairings are also possible, but they will bump up the price to over $250 per person.

Happy Hour Menu

Genting Palace’s Happy Hour menu is perfect for those who want to grab a quick and affordable bite alongside an exquisite cocktail.

Food options vary from simple appetizers like chilled marinated cucumber to heartier options like the wok-fried minced beef or Thai chili sauce crispy shrimp. A must-try for meat lovers is the black pepper beef skewer, while vegetarians can enjoy the Singapore curry vermicelli.

It goes without saying that the happy hour’s stars are the cocktails and not the dishes, no matter how exquisite they are.

Genting Palace treats guests to handcrafted cocktails that you won’t find elsewhere – unless you decide to blend your own drinks at home. 

All of them are must-tries, but the undisputable star is the spicy mango margarita, a sweet concoction that feels like drinking liquid sugar but is surprisingly delicious.

Whether you want to have a late lunch or enjoy a nice dinner from the exquisite menu later in the evening, Genting Palace Las Vegas might be the perfect venue. The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30 PM to 10 PM. 

While Genting Palace is not a place for breakfast or brunch, the restaurant might offer brunch reservations on holidays and special occasions. Genting Palace is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Like most high-end restaurants, Genting Palace has dress code requirements. The restaurant is more laid back than other fine dining places at Resorts World Las Vegas, allowing guests to wear business casual attire. Hats, caps, beach sandals, and flip-flops are not permitted, though.

Located in the Resorts World Las Vegas food court, Genting Palace accepts walk-ins. However, the sought-after restaurant is usually busy, and reservations may be required if you want to avoid long waiting times and other unpleasant surprises.
