Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse is one of the best restaurants in Downtown Vegas. The original Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse, which is located in Houston, Texas, is routinely voted as one of the best steakhouses in all of America. We can’t think of a single reason to argue that the tradition hasn’t followed through to the Las Vegas location of Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse. 

Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse offers an award-winning menu with fresh seafood, signature dishes, and award-winning steak options. 

One other detail that makes Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse stand out, aside from the exceptional service, is their extensive wine collection. The wine menu is thirty pages long and includes a table of contents if that tells you anything. 

If you’re in the mood for a great steak or seafood in an atmosphere that’s warm and intimate, Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse is open nightly for dinner service. From Sunday until Thursday, the restaurant is open from 5 pm until 10 pm. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant stays open until 11 pm. 

Vic & Anthony’s isn’t the only steakhouse at the Golden Nugget. If you’re in the mood for a dining experience with a more casual atmosphere but don’t want to sacrifice great food with that classic steakhouse taste, Saltgrass Steak House is an excellent choice. 

The menu features great dishes, with the steaks being the cornerstone. All of the steaks are certified Angus beef and cooked perfectly to your liking before being blessed with fresh garlic butter. Other favorites the menu features include BBQ pork ribs, country-fried steaks, and fresh seafood like the grilled Atlantic salmon. 

Saltgrass Steak House is also open for breakfast on the weekends, with traditional, hearty breakfast items. 

Saltgrass restaurant hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 pm until 10 pm. Friday & Saturday, they’re open from 9 am until 11 pm, and Sunday from 9 am until 10 pm. 

The Chart House is a unique Las Vegas dining experience at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. The dining room features a 75,000-gallon aquarium, which makes for a very nice backdrop as you’re enjoying a lunch or dinner with local flavors. 

The menu features dishes crafted with passion and skill, including slow-roasted prime rib, fresh fish specialties, and a Chart Your Course menu, which features your choices of soup or salad. Then, choose from prime rib, miso glazed salmon, and savory shrimp pasta. Just don’t forget to save room for dessert!  

They’re open for dinner daily from 4 pm until 10 pm. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the restaurant is also open for lunch, with the hours being noon until 10 pm. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4 pm until 6 pm. 

Let’s say you had a great winning streak at the Golden Nugget Hotel casino, and you built up a Las Vegas-sized appetite in the process. Now, you want to eat, but the food needs to be satisfying and good. Where do you go? 

Our suggestion is Grotto Italian Ristorante. We rank it decently high among the casual restaurants in Las Vegas, and even though the menu isn’t overly elaborate, the food is comforting and tasty.

Think along the lines of meatballs with marinara as an appetizer, a caprese salad to tease your appetite before the main course, pizzas, pasta, and classic dishes like veal picatta. 

Grotto Italian Ristorante at the Golden Nugget Hotel isn’t open every day. You can only enjoy their party of Italian flavors in your mouth on Friday and Saturday from 4 pm until 11 pm. 

CJ is a casual-style restaurant that offers top-notch comfort dishes in Las Vegas. The breakfast options cover all the basics, from biscuits and gravy to a long list of yummy omelets. For lunch and dinner, enjoy made-from-scratch deliciousness like freshly baked chicken pot pie, smothered mac & cheese, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, and more. 

CJ is open various hours throughout the week. Monday through Wednesday, they’re open from 7 am until midnight, and Thursday hours are 6 am until midnight. For the weekend, they’re open from 6 am until 3 am on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday, the restaurant is open from 6 am until midnight. 

Cadillac Mexican Kitchen is a great place to indulge your Mexican food cravings in Las Vegas. You’ll find all of your classic favorites here, plus a few new ones that you won’t be able to resist trying. The Mexican burger with bacon, chorizo, roasted peppers, and more is so good. If you just can’t decide, there are a few combo plates on the menu. 

Cadillac Mexican Restaurant is open daily at 11 am. The restaurant is open until 10 pm from Sunday through Thursday but stays open until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. 

Last but not least is Red Asian Cuisine. In our opinion, this is one of the best restaurants to enjoy casual Asian cuisine and perfectly prepared sushi on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. Also known for their impeccable service, Red Asian Cuisine is not going to disappoint. 

The menu features noodles, soups, wok creations, specialty rolls, and a few choice sides. Fuel up on the deliciousness before heading to the casino. 

Red Asian Cuisine opens at 4 pm from Thursday until Monday. They close at 10 pm on Thursday and 11 pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. They’re currently closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
