Kusa Nori Resorts World

Kusa Nori Resorts World Las Vegas is one of those places that can transport you to another part of the world as soon as you set foot inside the venue.

The modern Japanese restaurant, complete with a sushi bar and teppanyaki grills, impresses with an original décor, authentic Japanese atmosphere, and delicious culinary options.

Kusa Nori Resorts World Las Vegas Overview

Dining out goes beyond what you have on the plate, and Kusa Nori knows it all too well.

This place envelops its guests into an authentic Japanese bistro atmosphere that can make you forget – at least for a while – all about Sin City’s hustle and bustle.

The modern Japanese restaurant proposes itself as a dimly lit hot spot for seafood. Oversized fish sculptures float above the dining room, while a black octopus stretches its tentacles behind the sushi bar area, where expert hands prepare a variety of nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls.

Like most restaurants at Resorts World, Kusa Nori features a separate full bar and lounge area where guests can enjoy a cocktail or order from the sizable list of sake.

Attention to detail and the placement of tables make this restaurant feel airy despite the darker color choice.

The atmosphere is simple yet sophisticated at the same time, the venue promising a relaxed fine dining experience.

Kusa Nori Menu & Prices

Open daily for dining and happy hour, Kusa Nori Resorts World impresses with a rich menu and ample sake choices. The restaurant serves classic and innovative dishes that can satisfy most guests.

Dining Menu

Starters

Dinner at Kusa Nori can’t start without Japanese staples like Miso soup, edamame, or a fresh cucumber salad. But what this venue is famous for is the Chef’s Signature starters that take classic Japanese cuisine to a whole new level.

Scallop Crudo is a great choice for lovers of raw seafood. The delicious mollusk is served with yuzu apples, jalapenos, radish, and nuances of truffles.

Madai Kobujime and Kanpachi Carpaccio are two other exquisite choices. The former features kelp-marinated tai snapper and sea grapes as indisputable stars, while the latter is made with nori-crusted greater amberjack, cucamelon, and heirloom tomato.

Other options include salads and shishito, which is an avocado oil emulsion seasoned with Maldon salt.

A menu highlight is the social share platters featuring bluefin tuna tartare, vegetable tempura, and crab kryptonite.

Sashimi, Nigiri, and Rolls

Eating at a Japanese restaurant is synonymous with sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls you can dip in soy sauce. And Kusa Nori doesn’t disappoint.

Guests can enjoy a variety of classic and innovative dishes. Menu highlights include the crafted maki and specialty rolls, most of them Vegas-inspired. Names on the list vary from 3000 LVBLVD to Battle Born, Silver State Roll, and The Strip.

Unmissable dishes include the “Rami” spicy tuna roll and rock shrimp tempura. Other highlights include oysters specialty rolls sashimi, which tops the charts of innovative dishes from Japan.

Robata Meats & Wagyu Beef

Kusa Nori Sea Food

While seafood is Kusa Nori’s staple, guests can also choose from various meat dishes. This variety makes the restaurant perfect for larger groups, as it can cater to most people’s needs.

Robata meats include pork, poultry, and beef, as well as a selection of jumbo tiger shrimps and freshwater eel.

Those who crave the ultimate culinary experience can instead opt for A5 Japanese Wagyu Striploin, Tokushima Gold served with Kusa Nori signature garnishes. It comes at a staggering $55 per ounce (with a minimum of three ounces of tataki or grilled steak), but the flavor is unmatchable.

For a more frugal dinner, entrée options include black hawk wagyu shortribs, misoyaki black cod, and mugifuji pork tomahawk.

Teppanyaki Menu

A unique experience at Kusa Nori is watching skilled chefs preparing teppanyaki creations directly at your table.

Menu selections are served with Miso soup, garlic fried rice, and vegetable medley – dessert is also included in the teppanyaki option, albeit only ice cream and not the restaurant’s famous Rakkasei Layer Crunch Bar.

The menu consists exclusively of fresh meats and seasonal vegetables. Meat options vary from jidori chicken to Tokushima striploin, domestic wagyu striploin, and beef tenderloin.

The fish and seafood menu instead consists of king salmon, diver scallops, ebi jumbo tiger shrimp, and live Maine lobster.

Happy Hour Menu

A Kusa Nori highlight is, without a doubt, the happy hour served daily from 4:00 to 5:30 PM.

With seating in the bar and lounge area, the happy hour gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy a quick bite and an extensive selection of sake bombs.

The menu is limited compared to the dining options but much more affordable. It also features the restaurant’s most famous dishes, including Hamachi crispy rice and jidori chicken.

Sushi enthusiasts can choose from a selection of handrolls, which include a vegetable option ideal for both vegetarians and vegans.
