lago las vegas: Menu, Chef Serrano, & Hours

Imagine dining at the Bellagio, Italian twists and culinary mastery on a selection of small plates, with the fountains of Bellagio in the background. You’re dining at none other than Lago Las Vegas, a restaurant from the two-time James Beard Award Winning Chef Julian Serrano.

Lago is more than great food. It’s a thoroughly modern concept that blends Italian cuisine, innovative flavors, and excellent service into one singular experience.

The Ambiance

Whether you’re dining for lunch, dinner, or brunch, the ambiance at Lago always provides an outstanding experience, and this is before we even start talking about the food. Located in the Bellagio Las Vegas, Lago is modern, with cool blue and white tones throughout.

The decor brings to mind a blue sea, the foam that dances on top, and a sprinkling of coastal colors from the beach. Then, there are the unexpected little pops of warm colors throughout. The design and layout are impeccably done.

The table you’re seated at is sleek but warm and comfortable, and the atmosphere feels very relaxed for a fine dining experience in Vegas.

A table on the outdoor patio is a beautifully relaxing way to enjoy lunch, while a more intimate table in the dining room is perfect for sharing small plates of food with someone special.

Located in the Bellagio, the resort’s iconic fountains offer a gorgeous backdrop to an incredible meal. Although Lago is known for its views, if you want a prime fountain view seat, make sure to request a table with a view.

There are a few tables in the restaurant where there’s barely a view (but this is also something that some guests prefer).

Menu

The menu at Lago by Julian Serrano takes a light and delicious approach with an impeccable Italian focus. Chef Serrano’s celebrated recipes are highlighted throughout each course.

The menu begins with a wonderful selection of small plates to share or greedily keep to yourself. The Antipasto Board features a selection of fine cured meats, burrata, cheese, and crusty bread to enjoy it all with.

This is a great way to start a meal with an intimate group of friends. Seared scallops, beef carpaccio, and hamachi crudo are equally wonderful small plates to share.

As with most menus, there’s a small selection of soups and salads. In our opinion, the Caprese salad is the star of the show here, with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and olive oil. It’s a wonderfully refreshing, meat-free first course.

There’s also a small selection of pizzettas, bruschetta, and garlic bread that make for a nice light meal with small portions.

bellagio dining lago brunch

For the main dish, expect a selection of re-conceptualized classic Italian meat, seafood, and vegetarian plates designed to delight the senses.

A few favorites on the dinner menu include Lasagna Bolognese, which you can also opt to enjoy with truffle sauce. Then, there’s mushroom risotto and seafood risotto, both of which will have you hooked after one bite.

For larger plates, you can choose from selections like the Mixed Seafood Grill, with white fish, shrimp, lobster, scallops, and lobster. The veal piccata is tender and flavorful with lemon and capers, and the chicken parm is a true classic.

Perhaps one of the most popular dishes on this portion of the menu is the osso buco, which is a delicious approach to the braised veal shank with saffron risotto. Also, don’t neglect to ask your server what the Pesce al Cartoccio catch of the day is.

Lago by Julian Serrano also offers a weekend brunch. Your brunch experience begins with a basket of fresh bread, and then you choose selections from the three-course menu. Lobster Benedict and Eggplant Parmesan Benedict are favorites.

Desserts and a full bar are also available, ensuring Lago leaves you wanting for nothing.
