Get ready to loosen your belts! The Rio is adding a new restaurant to its roster: Luckley Tavern & Grill. Inspired by the charming pubs of the English countryside, this eatery brings a fresh, hearty twist to American classics right to the casino floor.
The Vibe
Luckley Tavern & Grill aims to blend the cozy, inviting feel of an English pub with the vibrant energy of Vegas. It’s designed to attract both tourists and locals, boasting a bar with a diverse selection of draft beers, wines, and cocktails. The atmosphere is all about enjoying good food and good company.
The Menu
Prepare your taste buds for a playful twist on favorites:
- Lollipop-style Buffalo Wings: Perfect for snacking between spins at the roulette table.
- Tuna “Pizza” and Scallops “Benedict”: Fancy, fun, and totally Instagrammable.
- Signature Dishes: Dive into the Lobster Pot Pie and don’t miss the table-side Ice Cream Sundae cart for dessert—it’s practically a show on its own.
The Minds Behind the Magic
This culinary adventure is brought to you by Oliver Wharton, a local restaurateur with a resume that reads like a Vegas dining hall of fame – think Stack, Yellowtail, and Fix. He’s teamed up with Chef Alex Resnick, a Culinary Institute of America Hyde Park grad, ensuring every dish is crafted with expertise and flair.
The Opening
Luckley Tavern & Grill is part of the Rio’s ongoing renovation efforts to upgrade its dining options and overall guest experience. According to Trevor Scherrer, President and CEO of The Rio, this new restaurant marks a significant milestone in the resort’s evolution.
