Lobster and Crab at M Resort buffet

The Sunday brunch buffet at Anthony’s Prime Steak & Seafood at the M Resort is one of the best in Las Vegas.

While it is currently the most expensive buffet in Las Vegas, it does feature food you won’t typically find at buffets, like lobster, beef Wellington, rack of lamb, and Pate!

M Resort Buffet lobster

There are a lot of seafood options, including crab legs and lobster. The food was also high-quality in our opinion, not to mention the atmosphere was excellent.

Brunch at Anthony’s is only available on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., though the restaurant does serve dinner daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

First off, let’s talk about the menu because, of course, that is one of the most important aspects of a delightful brunch.

On the brunch menu, you’ll find a cold display with options such as fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola, a sushi bar, a salad bar, iced seafood, cheeses and cured meats, and a grilled marinated vegetable platter. They also have a choice of two soups, the clam chowder and lobster bisque.

m resort buffet cold station EDIT

For main courses, you have several breakfast selections, including an egg and omelet station, which is cooked up fresh to your specifications, plus hot eggs benedict. They also have potatoes, french toast, pastries, bacon, and sausage available for breakfast options.

There is also a carving station including prime rib, lamb, and beef wellington. The hot display includes lunch choices like grilled salmon and asparagus, butternut squash ravioli, and roasted lobster tail.

And finally, brunch wouldn’t be complete without dessert, where banana bread pudding is the star. They have a variety of mini desserts like creme brulee, cream puff swans, pineapple upside down cakes, tiramisu, eclairs, fruit tarts and cake pops.

Don’t worry, you can also get a classic glass of champagne, make a mimosa, or enjoy their Smoked Bloody Mary which is homemade. After all, it wouldn’t be brunch without one of these fun beverages.

Location

The official address for Anthony’s Prime Steak and Seafood is 12300 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Henderson, NV 89044. It is located within the M Resort on the Casino Level just past the hotel lobby.

Dress Code

The dress code at Anthony’s Prime Steak & Seafood is business casual, so leave the athletic wear, swimwear, and loungewear back in the room.

Reservations

Though reservations are not specifically required, they are highly recommended for the brunch as it is very popular. You can make a reservation online here or by calling 1-702-797-1000.

We will warn you that as of the time of this writing, reservations are out almost a year. That’s right…a year!

Old Studio B Buffet Now Closed

The buffet at M Resort, officially named the Studio B Buffet, used to be a unique dining experience featuring an exhibition-style kitchen giving you outstanding views of the chefs whipping up your favorites. However, it has been permanently closed.

The Studio B Buffet originally closed due to COVID-19 as many Las Vegas buffets did. The “higher-ups” at M Resort decided not to reopen the buffet after restaurants were allowed to begin reopening.

This is definitely sad news for many as the Studio B Buffet was a hotspot for locals and tourists alike. It was one of the favorite buffets in Las Vegas.

Studio B was replaced by a restaurant called Jayde @ 16, an Asian fusion restaurant that will have unobstructed views of the Las Vegas Strip from your table. As of this writing, we haven’t tried it yet, but we will be sure to report back!

Key Takeaways

  • The M Resort Buffet named the Studio B Buffet, has been permanently closed.
  • To replace the M Resort Buffet, a new restaurant was opened called Anthony’s Prime Steak & Seafood, now offering a Sunday Brunch Buffet.
  • The Sunday Brunch Buffet at Anthony’s is a luxury buffet with the highest price in Las Vegas.
  • Open Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and reservations are recommended.

  1. As a person (architect and manager) who has been in the hospitality business for many years, I know that an F&B (specially a buffet) is not the best profit making part of a hotel. However, it is one of the best way to attract players to the casino. The Studio B has been a signature element of M Casino for many years. It was the best buffet in Las Vegas and had a reputation that was even copied in Casino Buffet in different parts of the world. It was a mistake to closed it entirely and permanently. M could have open it with some modifications either in the menu or pricing. I can say it was a wrong marketing decision.

  2. The locals are really aggravated that and buffet is no longer available for a quick soup and salad bar That’s the big downfall of m resort no more buffet
Management is wrong with that decision they have lost many local players.

  3. I love M Casino, even though it is more than 10 miles from my home. I hope the management will reopen the buffet because it is the best buffet in Las Vegas.
