The Virgin Hotel is the newest addition to the family of Las Vegas casinos and resorts. Taking over the former Hard Rock Hotel, the Virgin Hotel Resorts promises to be a completely new, modern, and luxurious escape in Las Vegas. The Virgin Hotel Las Vegas offers more than 1,500 luxury accommodations for its guests. Here, rather than the standard “room,” guests have their choice between chambers and suites.  The resort’s chambers and suites are housed in three uniquely separate towers – the Opal Tower, The Canyon Tower, and the resort’s “suite only” tower, the Ruby. Each tower’s location and accommodations lend to different experiences. 

The Opal Tower, located near the event lawn and many of the resort’s meeting places, is ideal for those staying at the Virgin Hotel for business purposes. Then there’s the  Canyon Tower and its up-close and panoramic view of the Las Vegas skyscape. From the Canyon Tower, guests can also enjoy views of the resort pool and the close proximity to the Virgin Hotel’s top restaurants.

The Ruby Tower is where the Virgin Resort’s premier luxury accommodations are found. The Ruby Tower features only suites, and guests enjoy VIP services, including a dedicated Valet and check-in area. The day club, spa, and fitness center are also located near the Ruby Tower. 

Chambers 

Chambers are the smaller, although still very spacious, rooms at the Virgin Hotel. Each chamber is designed to include separate spaces that are divided by a privacy door, providing a little bit of separation for relaxation and comfort. Whether you’re in Vegas for work or play, the layout of the Virgin Hotel’s chambers is comfortable and welcoming. 

Compared to some of the larger casino resorts in Las Vegas, the Virgin Hotel is refreshingly modern and light, with a visually pleasing neutral color palette and bursts of color that don’t overstimulate the senses. 

Each chamber features a dressing room area that includes a vanity, large closet, relaxing shower, and all the extra little touches to make your stay extra special.

Suites 

Virgin Hotel suites are best described as higher-end chambers. They’re more spacious than the standard chambers, and the suites located in the Ruby Tower include special VIP perks. There is a selection of suites to choose from, including several dog-friendly options. The Ruby Grand King Suite is just one example of this luxury. 

The Ruby Grand King Suite is 700 square feet of luxurious space with a large, open separate living area. This suite also includes a separate dressing area with more than ample closet space. Casa Calavera is the trendy new cantina in the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas. A creation of the Hakkasan Group, Casa Calavera brings the tropics to high-rolling Las Vegas. Casa Calavera makes every effort to make you feel as though you are south of the border, soaking up the energy, food, drinks, and hospitality. 

The vibe of Casa Calavera is that of an open-air cantina. Of course, there isn’t any sand on the ground to wiggle your toes in, but its location near the resort pool and outdoor promenade is the next best thing. Kassi Beach Club

Nick Mathers is the creator of Santa Monica’s popular Elephante, and he has once again reinvigorated the restaurant scene with Kassi Beach Club in the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas. At Kassi Beach Club, even the smallest details are given the closest attention, all to transport their guests to a place far away from the lights and constant buzz of Las Vegas.

Nobu

Nobu opened their first Las Vegas location in 1999, now more than twenty years later, the restaurant known around the world for mastery of Japanese cuisine is back in the Virgin Hotel. Nobu takes center stage, right near the Casino of the Virgin Hotel Resort.

Nobu in the Virgin Hotel features a modern, refined Korean cuisine menu that their world-renowned reputation has been built from. Enjoy exquisite Asian delicacies, each dish prepared before your eyes in Nobu fashion.

Fans of Nobu in the Hard Rock Cafe welcome their return to the Virgin Hotel. Expect to find a few fresh updates to the decor and an expanded bar area. 

Todd English’s Olives

Todd English’s Olive makes a long-awaited return to the Las Vegas restaurant scene with its new home in the Virgin Hotel. Olive, with their former home in the Bellagio, closed their doors permanently in 2018. Fans and lovers of the Meditteranean-inspired cuisine have been anxiously waiting for Olive’s return, and now it’s happening in the Virgin Hotel. 

With Olive’s return, visitors and guests of the Virgin Hotel can once again experience the sensuous and robust flavors of Mediterranean cuisine, including pasta, flatbreads, and the freshest selection of seafood. 

Pizza Forte 

Hot, fresh, and delicious pizza is no further away than a stop at Pizza Forte. Choose from NY or Roman-style pizza with your favorite toppings, by the slice, or order the whole pie. Pizza Forte is also known for its fast and irresistible Italian street food, calzones, hot dogs, pasta, and more. 

Funny Library Coffee Shop

The Funny Library Coffee Shop is the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee, a nibble or two, and mingle, work, or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. The Funny Library Coffee Shop features a selection of books, from iconic to rare, for you to peruse at your pleasure. Afters Ice Cream

Not your typical ice cream shop, Afters Ice Cream comes to Vegas after developing an obsessive cult following in California. Casino

The Virgin Hotel Las Vegas is opening with a 60,000 square foot Mohegan Sun Casino that’s operated by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. The casino space has been completely remodeled and offers all your favorite gaming opportunities, from slots and tables, to high-limit play. 

Money, Baby! Sports Book

Speaking of a little gambling and gaming, the Money, Baby! Sports Book can be found on the second level of the resort, in the area that bridges the Ruby and Canyon Towers. Money, Baby! Sports Book is described as an unparalleled sports gaming experience.

The Shag Room 

Studio 54 was an iconic fixture of club nightlife in the 70s. Since then, many clubs have tried to emulate their success, but none have come close. The Shag Room at Virgin Hotel transports you back into time in an ambiance that’s reminiscent of Studio 54. The Shag Room is a meeting place, a spot for friends to gather in a sexy, flirty, and intimate space. 

The Shag Room is designed to host a variety of events and can be reserved for private parties. The Bar at Commons Club

The Bar at Commons Club is a space where you can come and be seduced by the moment. A place to gather in groups, large or small, the atmosphere at the Bar at Commons Club is lavish but sleek, a bit retro and modern at the same time. Guests of the Bar at Commons Club can enjoy fine cocktails, an extensive wine list that features locally-sourced selections, and a boozy high tea for the true socialites. 

24 Oxford 

Fans of the former Hard Rock Casino & Hotel will remember Vinyl, the hot live music venue that became the spot to see and be seen in Las Vegas. With future line-ups of live music and shows. 24 Oxford is expected to pick up with all the same high energy, right where Vinyl left off. 

The name 24 Oxford has special significance to the Virgin Hotel. It’s the London address where the first Virgin record store was opened in 1971. As far as changes made to the former Vinyl as it reopens as 24 Oxford, expect few. The layout was perfect as is, so just some minor tweaking and updating was all that was needed to transform 24 Oxford into the new hot venue in Vegas. 

Pool

The pool is always a point of interest for resort guests. The Virgin Hotel features a large pool complex that spans more than five acres. The Mediterranean-themed complex combines the resort pool, the Promenade, which leads to the Event Lawn, and a two-story day club with an open-air entertainment stage, bars, and a poolside restaurant. 

The pool complex is almost like the epicenter of the Virgin Resort Las Vegas. It essentially connects the entire resort with the Promenade that travels along the pool complex, joining the day club, pool, event lawn, and the main restaurants, all of which have outdoor, poolside seating. 

For an extra dash of escapism, you can reserve a poolside daybed or luxury cabana at the Virgin Hotel. Details about the cost and perks are still pending, but everything tells us this is a little luxury worth investing in. 

The Spa 

There are few things better than spending the afternoon being pampered at the spa. The Spa in the Virgin Hotel rises to the occasion with an extensive list of services and treatments, all designed to support the wellness and relaxation of their guests. 

The Spa’s list of services includes massages, facials, body treatments, and a special happy hour spa menu. 

From 2-4 pm daily, the Spa is ready to pamper you with special services, including a 50-minute Wine Down Recovery Facial that’s complemented by your choice of white or rose wine. You might also choose the hydrating body scrub that’s served with a mini bottle of champagne, or the Blushing Rose massage, which is 50 minutes of pure relaxation paired with a glass of rose wine.
