Viva Resorts World: Menus, Hours & Dress Code

One of Resorts World’s fine dining venues, ¡VIVA! is a cheerful eatery where you can enjoy decadent Mexican food in a colorful, Latin atmosphere. Sought-after interiors bring homage to Mexican culture, from the choice of colors and materials to the distinct design elements.

Like most upscale restaurants at Resorts World, ¡VIVA! manages to provide an immersive experience. Rich wall art blends perfectly with the coastal-inspired furniture, cozy seating areas, and dramatic driftwood tree anchors.

Beyond the atmosphere, Mexico’s culinary richness is evident through the various menus. Whether it’s a quick brunch, lunch, or dinner, the renowned Chef knows how to impress.

¡VIVA! Las Vegas is the right place to enjoy exquisite Mexican dinners all week long. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, but Saturdays and Sundays are reserved for guests who want to savor a delicious brunch. Throughout the weekdays, you can also have fun with snacks and drinks during happy hour.

Lunch

From Monday to Friday, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, the restaurant opens its gates to those who want to experience colorful Mexican lunches. The lunch options can satisfy all culinary preferences, including a bountiful choice of meat, vegan, and vegetarian options.

Appetizers and tacos make for great starters, or you could enjoy a fresh salad or different freshly prepared ceviches. The true stars of lunch, however, are the special platters (Platos Especiales), including enchiladas, roast chicken, king salmon, barbecue, and carne asada from wagyu skirt steak.

Pescatarians can also enjoy fresh Crudos, a selection of raw fish options varying from shrimp cocktails to tuna. Regardless of your preference, you can wash everything down with bottomless sangria or order a specialty cocktail such as the hibiscus cooler or new old-fashioned.

Dinner

Dinner may look similar to lunch at first glance, but it is richer and includes more Mexican staples.

Perhaps the most sought-after dish is Chicharron, a crispy pork belly with pickled cabbage, garlic mojo, and radish sprouts. Three carne asada options can keep everyone around the table satisfied, while pescatarian dishes include grilled snapper, Maine lobster, and octopus with bay scallop. 

Tacos with handmade corn masa tortillas are also present on the menu, together with chile poblano and salsa molcajete, goat cheese, citrus adobo, lamb ribs, piña asada, and other staples of Latin cooking.

The drink selection is also more decadent during dinner, varying from beers and cocktails to various tequilas and agave-based liquors.

Brunch

Saturdays and Sundays are synonymous with decadent brunches. The menu includes popular Mexican staples featured by the lunch and dinner menus as well, but it includes exclusive dishes like huevos rancheros, breakfast burritos, and chorizo with eggs.

Bottomless sangria is a fixture in both daytime menus, but you can also enjoy mimosas and a variety of expensive wines and bubbles, including Clase Azul Reposado and Dom Perignon.

You can taste tequilas, too, or opt for cocktails. Alternatively, cucumber and fresh Jamaica water or soft drinks are options for youngsters or adults who want to remain sober.

Happy Hour

Experiences at ¡VIVA! go beyond brunches, lunches, and dinners. If you want to grab a quick bite and a drink, visit the eatery from Monday to Friday during happy hour.

The menu includes exclusively delicious snacks, such as chips and salsa, steak tacos, and wood-fired quesadillas. A selection of ice creams and churros can satisfy those with a sweet tooth, while drinks vary from ¡VIVA-RITA! House margarita to wine and draft beer.

Beverages & Dessert

Dessert is the crowning of an exquisite meal. Like all dishes on the menu, the sweets are a tribute to Mexican cuisine.

Staples like churros and leche flan stand alongside ice cream, sweet potato cake, and berries with mascarpone and meringue. Sweet after-dinner drinks include sherry brandy and pair perfectly with all dessert options.

A separate beverage menu includes all wines and bubble bottles. There are some budget-friendly options as well as exclusive wines and champagne that can set you back over $550 per bottle.

¡VIVA! is the brainchild of Los Angeles Chef Ray Garcia. The award-winning culinary connoisseur inspires himself by the rich culture of California and celebrates his Latin heritage with a modern approach to traditional Mexican dishes. The iconic Chef inaugurated his ¡VIVA! Restaurant in 2022, after previous success with Broken Spanish.

In the kitchen, the Chef uses famed coastal ingredients found in the Alta California region and a fresh take on traditional recipes like salsa tatemada, guacamole, tortilla quesadilla, and other cultural favorites. 

Like all fine dining restaurants at Resorts World, ¡VIVA! requires a business casual dress code. Ladies can wear high-end sandals and shorts, but beachwear is not accepted. Gents must wear casual-smart attire and closed-toe shoes. No flip-flops.

Acclaimed by food critics and guests alike, ¡VIVA! brags with excellent reviews. Criticism regards the variations brought to traditional Mexican food and the size of portions. Yet, guests agree on the quality of ingredients, bright and bold flavors, and lively atmosphere.

The restaurant is open for lunch from Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Brunch is served in the same hour range Saturday and Sunday. Happy hour is from Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Dinner is served from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and until 10:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday.
