Bang Bar

Bang Bar is a unique and tasty quick-service restaurant option at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

As an ode to street food, Bang Bar fits right in at the Block 16 Urban Food Hall and is a refreshing concept. With a simple menu, bold flavors, and an open, casual vibe, it’s hard not to like what’s going on at Momofuku Bāng Bar.

Here’s what you can expect from this creative restaurant at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

About Bāng Bar

About BangBar

Bāng Bar is another slam dunk from Chef David Chang, who is the founder of several other restaurants. The quick eatery specializes in spit-roasted meat with an Asian accent, tender, tasty flatbread, and fresh accompaniments.

The Las Vegas location is an open kitchen concept with an ordering counter and a short bar with stools. There’s also a snack case with rotating excellent finds like seasonings, sauces, and Asian-influenced snacks.

It is important to note that while related to the Momofuku brand, it is not a Momofuku Noodle Bar location. Instead, it is its own restaurant concept with a street food vibe versus a full-service establishment like its parent company.

Menu

The menu is set up where you pick one of the main dishes and then choose between a variety of proteins.

Entrees

When it comes to your entree, you can choose between The U Wrap, a flatbread that is stuffed and then rolled up; Fold Ups, two small flatbreads that are folded in half taco style; or Rice Bowls. Then you’ll choose between Spicy Pork, which is a gochujang marinated pork shoulder, Teriyaki Chicken, Spicy Eggplant, or Cumin Beef.

All of the options come with shredded cabbage and pickled onion, which adds the best bite and crunch against the proteins. It is quite a simple menu with only a few options, but every option is totally solid.

Sides

And don’t worry; there are plenty of side options as you can make any entree a meal with chips or another side and a soft drink. Your other side choices include Spicy Eggplant, Shishito Peppers, Cheesy Truffle Rice Cakes, or Chickpea Dip with Flatbread.

Vegetarian Options

Even though they are known for spit-roasted meats, there are still plenty of options for vegetarian friends. For any of the entrees, you can choose the Spicy Eggplant. Then, for sides, the Pickled Shishito Peppers and Chickpea Dip with Flatbread are both vegetarian!

Drinks

In addition to soft drinks like Sprite, Bāng Bar also has Yuzu Lemonade, which is fantastic, Redbull, unsweetened tea, S.Pellegrino sparkling water, and Fiji water. Now, if you want to kick it up a little, they also have three Soju flavors, a Blood Orange Negroni, and draft beers.

Occasionally, some reviews report dry rice or meat, though these reviews seem to be less in number recently, so we think they have made some changes for the better.

The overall ratings are 4.4 out of 5 stars, which makes it a solid choice for a quick bite at The Cosmopolitan.

It is also worth mentioning that there is another location in New York City on the third floor of luxury shops on Columbus Circle in between a Momofuku Noodle Bar and a sunglasses shop.
