Bobby Flay Restaurants Las Vegas
Chef Bobby Flay

Las Vegas is home to restaurants from multiple celebrity chefs, and they are excellent at bringing out the wow factor in cuisine that Sin City thrives on. With celebrity chef restaurants on every corner, there is chef that has been in the Las Vegas scene for over a decade. We’re talking about none other than Bobby Flay.

Bobby Flay has had a presence in Las Vegas since the early 2000’s when he brought his original restaurant, Mesa Grill, to Caesars Palace in 2004. Since then, he has continued to open restaurants in Las Vegas and now has a total of four locations there. This includes his all new Amalfi restaurant opened in May 2021, replacing the Mesa Grill.

The four locations that Bobby Flay is the inspiration behind are Amalfi and Bobby’s Burgers with 3 locations in Caesars Palace, Paris Hotel, and Harrah’s. Let’s take a look at what makes them great and what they have to offer.

Chef Flay’s infamous Mesa Grill is under renovations right now to become his latest new restaurant creation– Amalfi by Bobby Flay. After becoming inspired by the Amalfi coast in Italy, Flay transformed the Mesa Grill into his first Italian restaurant concept. It is slated to open late this spring in the Mesa Grill location at Caesars Palace.

His new Italian restaurant inspired by the Amalfi coast will have four new spaces, including a bar and lounge, the market room that’s reminiscent of authentic Italian markets, a private dining area, and the main dining room.

Mesa Grill at Amalfi

The main dining room will include views of an open kitchen, while the market room will sit closer to a fish and seafood display where the knowledgeable staff will allow you to select a whole fresh fish to be roasted a forno or over charcoal.

The bar will be nearly 50 feet long, host 30 seats, and will allow guests to order both cocktails and the full menu. The private dining room will accommodate up to 60 people, perfect for special events.

Menu predictions include seafood and pasta-heavy selections such as Lobster Pasta with Yellow Tomatoes and Calabrian Chili Peppers, Green Tomato Risotto with Sea Scallops and Osetra Caviar, and Spaghetti with Sea Urchin.

Desserts are expected to include Dark Chocolate Tiramisu and Olive Oil Cake. Bobby’s Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas is sure to be just as big of a hit as the beloved Mesa Grill, and we think even Mesa’s most loyal guests will agree.

Shark – Permanently Closed

Shark in the Palms Casino Resort

Shark was located in the Palms Casino Resort next to Kaos Nightclub. It is a seafood and sushi restaurant with a Latin flair. The decor is both modern and elegant with some Spanish influences. Shark is upscale but packs a big flavor punch.

The menu is seafood-heavy but is inspired by ingredients from Mexico, South America, and the Mediterranean. Shark offers selections such as Shrimp Escabeche, ceviche, sushi, sashimi, tacos, and specialty items like the Sea Urchin Soft Scrambled Eggs with Spicy Tomato Toast and Chive Pesto or the Octopus with Bacon, Marcona Almonds, and Gooseberry Salsa.

Many menu items are meant to share, like The BF Steak, a 36-ounce Bone-In Prime Porterhouse with Triple Chile Butter, or the Whole Grilled Lobster with Garlic, Basil Red Chile Butter.

However, not everything on the menu comes from the sea, as they have the steak option described above and Fried Chicken with Toasted Red Chiles, Rocoto Pepper Honey, and Lime.

Vegetarians also have plenty of options as you can get tacos with eggplant, cauliflower, or sweet potato and order off of the Vegetables and Rice section of the menu, including dishes like Crispy Rice with Black Beans, Sweet Potatoes, and Cilantro or the Little Gem Salad with Avocado, Plantains, Queso Fresco and a Yuzu Dressing.

Bobby’s Burgers

Bobbys Burger Bobby Flay

Bobby’s Burgers is now located inside the Forum Food Hall, an upscale food court in Caesars Palace. It took over the former location of Bobby’s Burger Palace.

When you walk in the door, you are met with a bright open space with curved lines almost reminiscent of a modern lounge. There is only counter service, so guests order at the counter, and the food is brought out to you.

The menu is just as exciting as the decor with burgers from influences from around the country, including the L.A. burger, the Philly, and the Dallas. You also have your choice of beef, turkey, chicken, or veggie patties. Get your burger fit style on lettuce for a low-carb option, or crunchify your burger with crispy potato chips on top.
