Luxor Restaurants in Las Vegas

The Luxor Las Vegas is one of the favorite hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, but it isn’t just their giant light beam that they’re famous for. Luxor Las Vegas is also home to a number of great restaurants, from elegant steakhouse dining to casual delis. We’ve tried them all and are here to offer this guide for those times when your appetite becomes demanding.

TENDER Steakhouse + Lounge

There are a lot of restaurants in Las Vegas where you can enjoy a great steak, but few have such high accolades as being awarded Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence multiple times. TENDER Steakhouse + Lounge lives up to its name with some of the most tender wet-aged and dry-aged steaks you’ll ever sink your teeth into.

A couple of examples of what you’ll find on the menu include their Coffee Rubbed New York Steak, which weighs in at a generous and meaty 14 ounces. The Butter Poached Filet Mignon is quite possibly one of the most tender steaks on the Las Vegas Strip, and the Beef Carpaccio as a starter is to die for. We also love their flavorful sides that complement the main dishes so beautifully. Our favorite sides include the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Pork Belly Mac & Cheese.

TENDER Steakhouse + Lounge is an elegant but relaxed setting., with the dress code being resort casual. You can enjoy a meal at TENDER by finding them located on the casino level of Luxor. They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday but are open every other day of the week for dinner service.

Diablo’s Cantina

When you’re in the mood for a margarita and some delicious food with a south-of-the-border attitude, Diablo’s Cantina at the Luxor Las Vegas is one of the best restaurants to satisfy your craving. Normally, we’d start by talking about the food menu, but as fans of a really good margarita, we have to do a little raving here. Diablo’s Cantina offers a classic margarita, which is delicious, but it’s hard to resist other flavors like Mango Picante and Passionfruit Fiesta.

Ok, now on to the delicious food. Some of our favorites include the steak or chicken fajitas, Diablos enchilada platter (with a trio of beef, chicken, and shrimp enchiladas), and the salmon with BBQ chipotle glaze. Whether you’re in the mood for drinking and appetizers or a great fresh meal, Diablo’s Cantina has you covered.

Diablo’s Cantina is a casual restaurant, so there’s no need to dress up in your finest. They’re open daily from 11 AM – 11 PM.

Public House

Public House is an east coast tradition that has opened its first western US location in Las Vegas, NV. Public House offers a modern sports bar vibe with a casual, relaxed atmosphere. They offer classic American-style bar food but elevated with more flavor and personality. Think along the lines of tuna poke nachos, buckets of wings with your choice of tasty sauces, and burgers, like the Standard American with two patties, American cheese, caramelized onion, lettuce & tomato on a lightly sweet brioche bun.

There’s a long list of beers and drinks to enjoy, and you can watch the big game for some entertainment while you dine. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, try the Public House Do It In Public Challenge Burger. The challenge is four double burgers with cheese and all the toppings, plus a huge basket of fries and a 22-ounce milkshake. Eat it all, and it’s free. If you can’t get it all down, it costs about $79, but you also get a souvenir shirt.

Public House is open only at night during the week but serves lunch, dinner, and everything in between on the weekends.

Pyramid Cafe

The Pyramid Cafe is the Luxor Hotel’s answer to a great way to start your day. Open from 7 AM until 2 PM daily, the Pyramid Cafe is ready to serve you a plate of your favorite cravable breakfast and lunch dishes.

Your stomach will start growling as you’re trying to decide between dishes like the Breakfast BLTA, which is loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg, and avocado spread. We also love the omelets and the chocolate bubble waffle for when you’re craving something on the sweet side.

If breakfast is just too early for you and lunch is your thing, This restaurant offers burgers, sandwiches, salads, and wraps. Our favorites are the Nashville Chicken Sandwich with chicken, hot chili oil, coleslaw, pickles, and sriracha mayo, and the Mac & Cheese Burger that’s topped with mac & cheese bites, bacon jam, cheddar cheese, and grilled onions.

Backstage Deli

The Backstage Deli is a great place for a quick bite at the Luxor Hotel. This is where you can get sandwiches that are piled high with all of your favorite toppings. The Jawbreaker earns its name by being piled with corned beef and pastrami, along with swiss cheese and stage sauce on a hoagie roll. It might just be a quick sandwich, but it’s big enough to count as an entire meal.

There are other sandwiches and burgers on the menu and early morning favorites like chicken & waffle sliders with a fried egg. The food is great, and the menu, while smaller than others, doesn’t disappoint.

Backstage Deli is open every day of the week but is open 24 hours every day from Wednesday until Sunday to satisfy your late-night cravings.

Luxor Food Court

If you’re not in the mood or don’t have the time to sit down at a table for a meal in a restaurant, the Luxor Food Court offers plenty of food options. A few selections at the food court where you can get a taste of just about anything to include:

  • Johnny Rockets – Classic American diner food and milkshakes
  • Bonanno’s Pizzeria – New York-style pizza, pasta, & more
  • LA Subs – fresh, tasty subs piled with your favorite toppings
  • Nathan’s Famous Hotdogs– top-of-the-line hotdogs, sandwiches, and more
  • Original Chicken Tender – Don’t miss the chance to try the Original Chicken Tender, fries, milkshakes, and more

Luxor Buffet

When you want a taste of everything or simply can’t make up your mind, there’s always something delicious at the Luxor Buffet. Guests can pile their plates high with various creations from the Luxor chefs. There’s a breakfast and omelet station for making your own omelets and delicious sides like bacon, sausage, and fresh fruit. The carving station is perfect for carnivorous appetites, and there are also plenty of other choices for entrees, seafood, salad, sides, and dessert.

Cocktails, including beer and wine, are also available, but you might not want to pass up the all-you-can-drink mimosas and bloody marys!

Currently, the Luxor Buffet is open Wednesday through Sunday for breakfast and lunchtime only.

Luxor Hotel and Casino Location

The Luxor Hote & Casino is a property of MGM Resorts and is located right on the Las Vegas Strip at 3900 S Las Vegas Blvd in Las Vegas, NV. The Luxor is right in the heart of all the action and energy of Las Vegas and is in close walking proximity to many of the attractions and entertainment venues on the Strip.

Dining at the Luxor Hotel

Compared to some of the other giant resorts on the Strip, the selections of dining options at Luxor might seem a bit limited. We’re here to testify to the fact that they offer something for everyone on Las Vegas Blvd, and it’s all delicious eats! The next time you’re staying at Luxor, know that you don’t have to venture far to enjoy a great meal in Las Vegas, NV.
