The Museum of Dream Space is among the first art museums in the United States to focus primarily on digital art. As you enter, you’re drawn through a fully immersive experience, begging you to touch and explore what feels like another dimension. Come explore this world of digital art in Las Vegas, but first, let us share more about what to expect.

The Museum of Dream Space Las Vegas

When someone mentions the word “museum,” is the image that comes to mind one that’s filled with traditional art in an almost sterile environment? One where visitors are encouraged to look but not touch?  One where it’s nearly impossible to fully immerse yourself in the experience? Not at Vegas museums. The Museum of Dream Space is an entirely different type of adventure into the world of art.

The Museum of Dream Space is the first museum in the United States to focus primarily on exhibiting digital art. Many of the art installations are interactive, drawing you in and allowing you to experience art design in a whole new way.

While the exhibits are dreamed up from the imaginations of digital artists, the digital art museum was inspired by the art style of Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist well-known for abstract expressionism, surrealism, and her infinite rooms. Her influence has been of key importance in modern art culture.

At the Museum of Dream Space, it’s Kusama’s artistic style that you can see come through in the primarily digital art exhibits displayed. The art installations span several rooms, but through them, visitors will experience nearly infinite worlds. There’s a rotating list of artists on display, so even if you’ve visited the Museum of Dream Space (MODS) in the past, you’re sure to find something new and intellectually stimulating in addition to their amazing permanent exhibits.

One really nice aspect of the Museum of Dream Space Las Vegas is that they allow cameras during your visit, so you can take pictures to remember each exhibit. That said, no professional photography equipment (except for small professional equipment)  is allowed, and you don’t want to spend too much time taking up space in one room, especially when MODS is busy, and you’re in the way of others enjoying the experience.
