Las Vegas Brewery Tours

Las Vegas is known for its vintage neon signs, the best parties, the best speakeasy bars, and the best cocktails, but there’s something else that Vegas is becoming famous for – the craft beer scene! The craft brewing culture is going strong in Las Vegas, and it’s quickly becoming one of the best in the country.

Get ready to skip the typical bar scene and sign up for a local craft beer tour instead.

Brewery Row Las Vegas

Las Vegas is an adult playground, ready to indulge your every wish and desire. For lovers of a great craft brew, Downtown Las Vegas has made a move to be a major name in the craft beer movement. In 2021, the city officially created what is now known as Brewery Row Las Vegas.

Brewery Row Las Vegas

The Downtown Las Vegas Arts District area offers incentives for small craft breweries and taprooms. While not exactly a “row,” there are several breweries and taprooms that are all located on a central cluster of streets in Downtown Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas craft breweries that currently call Brewery Row their home include:

  • Beer District Brewing
  • Hop Nuts Brewing Downtown
  • Able Baker Brewing
  • CraftHaus Brewery
  • HUDL Brewing Company
  • Nevada Brew Works

Breweries on the Las Vegas Strip & the Open Container Policy

The iconic Strip isn’t as plentiful when it comes to breweries, but there are a couple of local breweries that are definitely worth your time if you’re in the mood for a tour. Trustworthy Brewery and Ellis Island Brewery are popular spots along the Strip.

One detail that makes touring breweries on the Strip even more attractive is the Strip’s open container policy. Adults of the legal drinking age can consume alcohol publicly on the sidewalks of the Strip. So, if you find a brew you love and want to sip it as you wander along to the next destination, this is something that is perfectly acceptable on the Strip.

Even with the open container policy, there are no glass containers allowed – so no glass bottles. Also, being belligerent or obnoxiously intoxicated is frowned upon, no matter if you’re consuming publicly or not.

Types of Las Vegas Brewery Tours

Types of Las Vegas Brewery Tours

There are two different types of Vegas craft beer tours that you can have. The first is to arrange a tour with a local company specializing in touring different Las Vegas breweries. This experience usually takes several hours, and you’ll typically visit anywhere from two to five Las Vegas craft breweries. The tour provider takes care of all of the logistics. You just show up and follow along the tour, enjoy some great craft beer and get a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process.

The other option is to visit a brewery on your own for a brewery tour. Many of the local breweries offer tours at designated times, while some may allow you to come at nearly any time for a tour. Most often, those tours that aren’t scheduled can be described more as tastings rather than tours, although you might get a quick tour of the facilities. Some even offer the opportunity to request a private tour for your small group.

Both types of Las Vegas brewery tours offer a great experience, so we’ve included a selection of both in our choices of the best of the best.
