Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres in the Sahara Las Vegas wins our award for being one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas for so many reasons. Setting our own ideas aside, Bazaar Meat has won multiple accolades, including Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence, being named Best Restaurant in Nevada by Business Insider, and multiple awards from the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Plus, Chef Jose Andres is both a James Beard Award winner and has earned prestigious Michelin Stars. 

But, let’s talk about the dishes that have made Bazaar Meat so famous. For starters, there’s the Foie Gras Cotton Candy. The unlikely pairing of a delicate nibble of foie gras encased in wispy cotton candy is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The raw bar features delicacies like king crab legs and Smoke & Ice Fresh Oysters. There’s also a meat bar with tartare, carpaccio, and melt-in-your-mouth assorted meats. This is all before you even get to the main course. 

Of course, steak is the name of the game at Bazaar Meat, so it’s hard to pass up menu selections like the Wagyu Black Angus Ribeye Steak or the Bone-In Strip Loin. All the steaks come from top ranchers in the United States, including Lindsay Ranch in Oregon and the Double-R Ranch in Washington. Bazaar Meat also offers two perfectly curated tasting menus, with special selections like a platter full of the chef’s selections of cured meats. 

The Capital Grille

In the Las Vegas world of resort restaurants, the Captial Grille steakhouse stands out as its own shining star. Located on Las Vegas Boulevard, right across from the Wynn Las Vegas, Capital Grille is one of the most highly reviewed steakhouses on the Strip. 

The Captial Grille is a fine-dining steakhouse experience featuring an elegant atmosphere and a delectable menu. We started our meal with the Lobster Bisque, which was pure perfection, and also the steakhouse classic of a Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese and Smoked Bacon. 

For the main course, the menu offers no shortage of delicious options. The Bone-In, Dry Aged New York Strip with shallot butter is a favorite, as well as the Seared Sirloin that’s served with a butter-poached lobster tail. There really aren’t words to describe the level of excellence in both the food and service we received. 

Beautifully curated wine and dessert menus round out the dining experience. If you’d rather cook your steak at home, Capital Grille offers Steak Grille Boxes that feature the finest cuts of meat, like New York Strip steaks, Bone-in Ribeye, and Filet Mignon. You can also create your own custom Grille Box with all of your favorites. You might not be able to wear your super casual attire to the steakhouse, but with one of these Grille Boxes, you can enjoy a steak dinner in your pajamas if you like! 

Delmonico Steakhouse  

Delmonico Steakhouse is the creation of celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse and has stood the test of time, gracing the Strip and satisfying hungry diners for twenty years. As one of the most well-known steakhouses in Las Vegas, Delmonico Steakhouse offers an experience that doesn’t disappoint. 

A look at the menu will reveal mouth-watering favorites, including prime cuts of meat like the Japanese Wagyu with radish salad and black garlic sauce, the Filet Mignon from Creekstone Farms, and the Chateaubriand that’s served tableside for two. The steaks are all melt-in-your-mouth tender and absolutely delicious. 

The desserts at Delmonico Steakhouse are just as iconic as the steaks. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to enjoy Emeril’s famous Banana Cream Pie, London Fog Creme Brulee, or Strawberry Cake with passion fruit mousse and white chocolate. There’s also a tempting menu of dessert pours if you’d rather sip your dessert rather than savor it from a fork. 

Cut by Wolfgang Puck 

Las Vegas is an epicenter of famous celebrity chef restaurants. Wolfgang Puck brings his vision of the perfect steakhouse to life with his restaurant Cut by Wolfgang Puck, located in the Palazzo at the Venetian. Wolfgang Puck brings global influences and his passion for food to his Las Vegas steakhouse. Every prime cut of meat is sourced from ranchers who humanely raise and treat their animals, and each dish is prepared with the finest of ingredients. 

The menu features a selection of dry and wet aged steaks, along with fresh seafood. Steak lovers will salivate at the thought of a bone-in rib chop with organic quail egg and creamed spinach as a side. The Japanese Wagyu Ribeye is a house favorite, but the most carnivorous appetites will want the Tomahawk Ribeye, which tips the scale at 40 ounces of USDA Prime beef. 

Seafood lovers will be drawn to the section of the menu featuring oysters with champagne mignonette, caviar service, and the Whole Roasted Loup de Mer with brown butter. Pair your meal with a little something from the wine list that offers more than five hundred different international selections. 

SW Steakhouse 

SW Steakhouse at the Wynn is one of the most beautiful dining experiences you can have in Las Vegas. The restaurant overlooks the Lake of Dreams with tree-lined hilltops. The scenery is beautiful as is but add in the Lake of Dreams show that takes place nightly, and it all adds up to one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas for a memorable meal. 

SW Steakhouse offers a menu that features both Japanese and American Wagyu. The domestic Wagyu selections are dry-aged steaks, such as a New York Strip with perfect marbling. Other USDA Prime cuts include a dry-aged porterhouse for two, a filet mignon, and a boneless ribeye. Add the black truffle butter or smoked blue cheese crust to take your steak over the top. 

Carversteak

Carversteak, located in Resorts World Las Vegas, has won awards as one of the best steakhouses in Sin City. Resorts World Las Vegas is one of the newest resorts on the Strip, so the fact that Carversteak has won accolades in its short life there says something incredible about the quality of its food and the experience. 

What makes Carversteak in Las Vegas stand out is the menu of steak-house-style dishes that you just can’t find anywhere else in the city. The lobster en Croute is an iconic favorite and features a full two pounds of Maine lobster in puff pastry. The 20-ounce, dry-aged Kansas City Strip is another favorite that you won’t find on other menus. Carversteak is also one of the few restaurants in Las Vegas to offer Australian Wagyu in addition to domestic and Japanese Wagyu selections. 

Gordon Ramsay Steak 

Of all the celebrity chefs in Las Vegas, Chef Gordon Ramsay is one that stands out – both for his personality and his approach to delicious food. At Gordon Ramsay Steak, you can enjoy all of the famous chef’s classics, from his Beef Wellington with a nice, crisp caesar salad to his 

British Style Onion Soup, to his Rack of Lamb with trumpet mushrooms. 

Here, you can expect a classic steak house menu that features both traditional American and British influences. You’ll find high-end prime beef cuts, including both American and Japanese Wagyu. The dining room is modern, with many warm decor touches, and a great place to enjoy and linger over a meal. Don’t forget to end with a sticky toffee pudding or a special pour from the cocktail menu.

If you’re looking for an elegant steakhouse with a great Downtown Las Vegas location, Barry’s Downtown Prime is it. This Steak-House restaurant is a throwback to vintage Vegas, where elegance and class filled the dining room. Once you get past the elegance of the bronze and gold-tone accents of this gorgeous steakhouse, you’ll next find yourself captivated by the menu. 

Start your meal with an exquisite selection from the appetizer menu. The Chilled Shellfish Platter rivals all of the best seafood towers in Las Vegas, and the Fettucine Alfredo Bone Marrow Luge is a taste experience you can’t find elsewhere. For dinner, indulge yourself with the parmesan pine nut-crusted lamb chops or Barry’s 12-ounce rib cap steak. The dry-aged Mishima Reserve Tomahawk Ribeye is a true show-stopper. We enjoy ours served with Barry’s chimichurri sauce. 

Speaking of show stoppers, the tableside Campfire S’mores and Tahitian Baked Alaska with brandy flambe are both visually stunning and delicious! 

Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse 

Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse 

Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse in the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino has been voted one of the top ten steakhouse restaurants in America. They’ve also won multiple accolades in the local Las Vegas dining scene. Vic & Anthony specializes in only the very best cuts of meat, including USDA Prime, grain-fed beef, Kobe Beef, and A5 Japanese Wagyu. Cuts include a New York Strip, which is a house favorite, Ribeye, Rib Cap, and a petite Filet Mignon. 

Some of our favorites on the menu include the Fried Lobster Mac & Cheese (decadent and delicious!), the Wagyu Braised Beef with heirloom carrots and cippolini onions, and we always share one of their seafood towers for the table. This is one steakhouse in Las Vegas that knocks it out of the park every time. 

Top of Binion’s Steakhouse 

No list to help you find a great steakhouse in Las Vegas would be complete without mentioning Top of Binion’s Steakhouse. This steakhouse restaurant sits on the 24th floor of Binion’s Hotel, offering views that are spectacular enough to rival the food. This is a classic steakhouse that’s infused with vintage Vegas charm. 

A highlight of the menu is the premium Black Angus Beef from Creekstone Farms that’s aged a minimum of forty days. Sink your teeth into a 24-ounce T-Bone or Cowboy Ribeye, but then there’s also the Prime Rib, which is something that Top of Binion’s Steakhouse is known for. We suggest starting your meal with one of their signature appetizers, such as the chicken fried lobster for two, Binion’s escargot, or the Oysters Rockefeller. Finish with the Baked Alaska Flambe or Strawberries Romanoff. If those dishes don; make you feel as though you’ve stepped back several decades into old Vegas, we don’t know what will. 

Bonus Choices for the Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas

Our whole point here is to introduce you to the best steakhouse restaurants on the Strip and Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. Still, we have a couple of favorites that don’t meet the location criteria, but it just didn’t feel right to leave them off our list. 

Harlo Steakhouse 

Harlo Steakhouse is located in Downtown Summerlin. Harlo is one of those restaurants where you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Round, leather booths that your just slip into encourage you to relax and enjoy a little something from the wine or cocktail menu as you linger over the dinner menu, searching for the perfect meal. The menu is reflective of a traditional steakhouse but with Italian coastal influences. 

To start your meal, we genuinely enjoy and recommend the Roasted Bone Marrow and Summer Corn Ravioli with housemade ricotta and Fresno chili butter. If you enjoy caviar, Harlo Steakhouse offers one of the most extensive caviar service menus, including a caviar taco and a caviar cannoli. Even if you make this steakhouse a place where you stop for appetizers and cocktails before a show or a night out on the town, you’re guaranteed a wonderful culinary experience. 

The entrees at Harlo run the spectrum from the freshest seafood to prime steaks and chops. We enjoy the Chicken Milanese with pickled lemon cucumber, but it’s hard to resist a juicy cut of steak, like their Ribeye Cap, with one of their signature sauces and an extra indulgence of grilled tiger prawns or seared foie gras. Harlo is also one of the few steakhouses that offer a nice pasta program, with selections like stone crab tagliatelle that’s served with yuzu, caviar, and chives. Talk about decadent! 

Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis at Green Valley Ranch 

Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis at Green Valley Ranch has become famous as a premier steakhouse in the Las Vegas area. They’ve won Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence for 2022 and have a long list of customers who will quickly say that Hank’s is their favorite and the one steakhouse that they’ll never give up. 

Everything at Hanks Fine Steaks is exceptional. From the intimate atmosphere of the dining room to the perfected steakhouse menu. Dark wood contrasts with cream-colored chairs and linens, with warm ambient lighting to create an atmosphere that begs you to stay and linger over an intimate dinner. 

But, let’s talk about the menu. Before you even make your way to the main course of this steakhouse menu, you’ll find an appetizer section that features fresh fish & seafood, like the crab cocktail with dijon aioli, and the Seafood Jackpot that showcases Maine lobster, shrimp, oysters, king crab, and lump crab all on one delectable platter. If you’d rather stay away from seafood to start your meal, Hank’s offers a Wagyu Meatball with tomato sauce, aged Parmigiano, and olive oil. 

There’s also a great selection of salads. We really enjoyed the steakhouse salad with the white French dressing, which was unexpected and so good. For the carnivores, there’s a wonderful selection of wet-aged steaks that have been aged for a minimum of 28-days, prime bone-in cuts, Australian Wagyu, American Wagyu, A5 Japanese Kobe, and American Bison. Plus, there are delicious options to elevate your steak to the next level, including a wonderful gorgonzola crust. The food, combined with the well-curated wine list, equals a dining experience you won’t regret. 

Golden Steer Steakhouse Las Vegas

The final steakhouse on our list is arguably one of the most famous in all of Las Vegas. The Golden Steer was founded in the 1950s as a small restaurant with an intimate bar and quaint dining room. It didn’t take long for their reputation to soar, and they soon earned the reputation of being the most sought-after elegant steakhouse in Las Vegas. 

When you walk through the doors, you can still see and feel the old Vegas charm that attracted the likes of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr as regular customers. Even in its early days, the Golden Steer Steakhouse attracted the rich and famous from Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Joe DiMaggio, Natalie Wood, and Nat King Cole are just a few more of the famous names that graced the red leather booths of the famous steakhouse. 

Appetizers at Golden Steer feature seafood selections, such as fresh oysters on the half shell, seafood stuffed mushroom caps, and fried calamari. For the main course, dine on one of the fine steaks that have earned Golden Steer a reputation for being one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas. Think along the lines of steakhouse classics like a petite filet mignon, an English cut of prime rib, a nice thick porterhouse, or lamb chops with mint jelly. 

When it comes to desserts, this steakhouse doesn’t disappoint. The dessert menu features decadent sweetness to the tune of creme brulee, bananas foster, cherries jubilee, tiramisu, and spumoni bomba. It’s hard to save room for dessert, but with a lineup like this, it’s too hard to resist. 

In full disclosure, there are other great steakhouses that didn’t make our list but deserve an honorable mention. Edge Steakhouse in the Westgate Hotel & Casino is wonderful, as is Tom Collichio’s Craftsteak in the MGM Grand (part of the MGM Resorts family), PRIME Steakhouse in the Bellagio, Jean Georges Steakhouse in the MGM Resorts Aria, ONE Steakhouse at Virgin Hotels, and StripSteak Steakhouse in Mandalay Bay. So many wonderful choices. It’s never easy to decide.
