Send Noodles

Send Noodles at the Palms Las Vegas offers a bright, open atmosphere and delicious, freshly prepared Asian-inspired specialties. If you’ve found yourself in the mood for noodles or other fare with an Asian influence, Send Noodles gives some of the more expensive Asian restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip a run for their money.

The menu at Send Noodles isn’t huge, but it doesn’t need to be. They have all the bases covered, with fresh takes on traditional favorites and a few innovative creations thrown into the mix. We’re big fans of the house ramen and lobster fried rice.

Send Noodles is a family-friendly restaurant that’s also a good location for a casual, low-key date night dinner. Here’s our take on Send Noodles at the Palms Las Vegas.

Appetizers

If you’re anything like us, you like to start a meal with a little something to nibble on. When we walked into Send Noodles, the smell was intoxicating, so we got right to business looking at the appetizer menu.

While the appetizer portion of the menu isn’t huge, there is good variety. We ordered the edamame with crunchy garlic and sea salt, along with the crispy soft-shell crab, which was really good with the sweet and sour chili sauce.

Other options for you to choose from on the appetizer menu include pork stickers, salt and pepper calamari, chicken lettuce wraps, and tempura green beans.

We’ve heard that the chicken lettuce wraps could be a little bland, which is why we didn’t go for them, but the table next to us had ordered them and didn’t seem to have any complaints!

Noodles & Noodle Soups

In a restaurant with a name like Send Noodles, of course, it was the noodle and noodle soups that first caught our attention.

Let’s start with the noodle soups. These are absolutely perfect for lunch or a light dinner, and the ones we’ve had have all been quite tasty especially the house ramen and pho.

House Ramen: The house ramen is made with a delicate pork broth, and honestly, it was as tasty as similar dishes we’ve had at a more expensive restaurant. It features chashu pork, scallion, egg, nori, straw mushroom, bamboo shoots, and, of course – noodles.

Seafood Kimchi Ramen: This dish really throws a great variety of seafood into the mix, and it’s all very fresh tasting. It features calamari, lobster, and shrimp in a spicy lobster broth. Very delicious.

Pho: This is one of the best Asian-inspired recipes, and it’s very different from what you might get at an Asian-American fusion restaurant. The pho features brisket, meatballs, eye round strip, onion, cilantro, Thai basil, and jalapeno in nice beef broth.

If you like pho, this is a great place to try a new variety.

Beef Tendon: This is a delicate Cantonese thin noodle with scallion and choy sum.

Wor Wonton: This is another Asian-inspired soup that we can’t get enough of. It starts with pork and shrimp dumplings and then adds in more delicious elements, including BBQ pork, baby bok choy, and more shrimp in a silky chicken bone broth.

Next up are the noodle dishes. There are only five options to choose from, which we thought was a little slim for a place that’s supposed to specialize in Asian-inspired noodles. However, we’ve had the noodle dishes more than a couple of times, and we’ve always been happy to leave a good review.

The noodles on the menu include Pad Thai, with the option to add chicken or shrimp; Lo Mein, with the option to add chicken or shrimp; Singapore noodles, beef chow fun; and XO shrimp udon.

Barbeque

The barbeque items on the Send Noodles menu are great, although limited. We opted to try the Peking duck, which is available in either a full or half portion. We decided on the half and shared, along with ordering some other smaller dishes to share while dining.

Other items on this portion of the menu include BBQ pork and BBQ spare ribs. We suggest dining with a friend so you can share.

Chef Specialty Woks

The chef’s specialty woks highlight some of the best dishes at Send Noodles Las Vegas. These Asian-inspired specialties can best be described as dishes that offer fresh takes on traditional favorites. There’s some decent variety in the mix on this portion of the menu, and we’ve never had a problem finding something we wanted to eat.

To start, there’s the lobster fried rice that’s made with delicate lobster, kimchi, and egg. We’re a bit snobby when it comes to fried rice, but we happily gave this one two thumbs up.

For entree dishes, there’s the choice of a black bean wok with bell peppers and green onion, Mongolian wok, King Pao wok, and sweet and sour. With each option, you can choose if you’d like shrimp, chicken, or beef added. You can also choose a combo of protein for a couple of dollars more.

Regional Specialty Dishes

If you like your food on the spicier side, you might want to pick something from the regional specialty section of the menu at Send Noodles. There are only three dishes listed here, but given the vibrant flavor of these dishes, we were content with the selection.

Firecracker Chicken: Talk about an intoxicating scent when this dish hits the table! This is chicken, Thai chili, and cilantro, which is a hot and spicy sauce. It might set our mouths on fire, but we accept the challenge!

XO Eggplant: This is a good, spicy vegetarian dish (not vegan because the sauce contains shellfish). This is eggplant with Thai chili and their XO sauce. If you’re feeling a bit more carnivorous, you can add ground pork for about $4 more.

Miso Black Cod: The miso black cod is one of those Asian-inspired dishes that manages to be both delicate and very flavorful at the same time. Send Noodles prepares theirs with white miso, sake, and mirin, then it’s enhanced with baby bok choy and toasted sesame.

Send Noodles Dress Code

Send Noodles is a casual restaurant, so there’s no need to dress up before heading in for noodle bowls or lobster fried rice. However, this is a family-friendly kind of place, so pick something that isn’t too revealing.

We also advise against showing up in your pajamas or swimwear – even if you’re just running in briefly to pick up a to-go order.

Just use common sense, and the staff won’t have an issue with what you’re wearing.

Hours & Location

Send Noodles is open daily for service from 11 am until midnight on Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant is open from 11 am until 2 am, so you can enjoy late-night noodles after the party.
