When it comes to planning a fun Vegas bachelorette itinerary, the problem is with so many options, it can be difficult to know how much to pack in and which of the shows and attractions will be the best fit for your pre-wedding celebration.
To take a little stress out of your bachelorette party planning, we’ll run through some of the options to help you choose the perfect hotel, shows, bars, and casinos, and where to go for the best boozy brunches or a spot of retail therapy to aid your morning recovery.
Day 1: Arrival and Nightlife Exploration
Whether you’re Vegas veterans or virgins, we’re big fans of keeping the first day simple to settle into your hotel and get your bearings a little. Allow a little time for check-ins and freshening up after travel, and then maybe a meal and a little nighttime exploration before things get a little wilder as your bachelorette party gets into full swing on day two.
Check-in at the Hotel
To Strip or not to Strip—that is the first question! Choosing a good home base for your fun Vegas bachelorette itinerary can help the whole weekend run more smoothly by cutting down on time to move from one activity to the next.
Staying on the Strip will put you in the middle of the action, and most of Vegas’ top attractions will be pretty much on your doorstep. We love the area close to the Bellagio, which puts you close to the LINQ Promenade, Caesar’s Palace, and, of course, the Bellagio itself.
Our favorite Strip hotels in this area include Caesar’s Palace, the Cosmopolitan, and the Venetian. They all have great bars and restaurants, and there’s plenty to see and do. If you are free from budget constraints, our top recommendation would be Cosmopolitan, the perfect hotel for a bachelorette getaway!
If you would like to keep the accommodation costs down a little bit so you can spend a little more on having fun, the Linq Hotel is also a great choice, and in the center of it all.
Evening on the Linq Promenade
Once everyone has arrived, checked in, and freshened up, it’s time to see what Sin City has to offer! To ease yourselves into the Vegas bachelorette experience, we recommend an evening exploring the LINQ Promenade.
To help get your bearings, a good first stop is the High Roller. The 550-foot-tall observation wheel is the largest in North America, and it takes half an hour to complete a revolution. And if you book a Happy Half Hour cabin, which can hold up to 25 guests, you will also get your own bartender and an open bar!
Once you have your feet back on solid Vegas ground again, you can explore the rest of the promenade. If the High Roller open bar has whetted your appetite, you can pop to the second floor of I Love Sugar, where you will find the Candy Martini Bar, which serves up a whole host of cute candy-infused cocktails.
If you prefer to keep it a little more low-key and somewhat less boozy on the first night, you can also wander the shops along the promenade and maybe stop for a fun-filled photo shoot at the Museum of Selfies.
The LINQ Promenade also has a few great choices for when hunger strikes. If you fancy washing your food down with a draft beer, the Yard House has an extensive menu of both food and drafts, as well as a great dessert menu.
If a few of you are a little jaded from the flight in, you could also opt for a more chilled evening at the Brooklyn Bowl. They have a good selection of comfort foods, and after eating, you can grab a bowling lane or, depending on which acts are in town, maybe even catch some live music.
Day 2: Daytime Fun and Evening Entertainment
If everyone survived day one, it’s time to have a little more fun on day two. We recommend starting the day with a hearty brunch, followed by either a boozy or cultural afternoon, and finishing off with dinner and one of Sin City’s best sexy male revue shows.
Leisurely Brunch
Our two favorite Vegas brunches are the Wynn Buffet and the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar’s. As with many Vegas experiences, it’s best to book this one in advance to guarantee a table at your preferred time.
The Wynn Buffet, a little to the north of the Venetian Hotel, has 16 different food kitchens to enjoy, including an Eggs Benedict station and a Latin Street Food station.
The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar’s is another great option, especially if you are staying at the hotel. The buffet, boasting nine live-action cooking stations, is available for a fantastic brunch.
Daytime Activities
Once you have broken fast and lined your stomach, you can choose daytime activities that the bride-to-be will appreciate. If you prefer to pace yourselves and save the mischief until evening time, you could opt for a cultural tour, such as a helicopter ride out to the Grand Canyon or the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
For Grand Canyon sightseeing trips, most flights take around 90 minutes and include views over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. There is also an option for a later trip that also includes a Valley of Fire champagne sunset landing, but the later return may interfere with your evening plans.
On the other hand, if you’d rather get the party started a little earlier, you can head to one of Vegas’ daytime pool parties. Dayclubs like the Marquee, Tao Beach Club, or Wet Republic are fun places to hang out during the afternoon.
The pool parties are great fun, with the ones at Wet Republic often described as being the wildest on the Strip. There are big crowds and long lines, especially when they have headline acts like Steve Aoki, Afrojack, or Martin Garrix.
If a daytime pool party sounds like your kind of Vegas afternoon, be sure to book poolside cabanas or tables in advance to make it as memorable as possible.
Dinner and a Show
If you do plump for the pool party in the afternoon, be careful not to party too hard and pass out because you still have the nighttime to negotiate! And when you’re planning your fun bachelorette itinerary, be sure to book tickets for one of the male revue shows for a night to remember.
The shows have been in town since before the Chippendales and are perhaps the quintessential bachelorette party activity when in Vegas. There are a few different ones to choose from, and you can start with a sophisticated dinner at one of Vegas’s top eateries before the evening takes a slightly less sophisticated (but more fun) turn…
Thunder from Down Under is one of the more popular male revues, with lots of dancing on tables and incredibly attractive Australian performers showing off their impressive dance skills.
The shows start at 7, 9, or 11 p.m., depending on the day of the week, and you can pair the show with dinner beforehand at Tap Sports Bar at the nearby MGM Grand Hotel. Make sure you book your tables and tickets in advance and that you will have enough time to eat and get to the show on time.
Conceived and directed by Channing Tatum, the Magic Mike Live show is another hot favorite among bachelorette parties. And you can get in the mood for the show with some delicious Italian food at the Balla Italian Soul restaurant.
For the ultimate Magic Mike experience, though, grab the Magic Pass tickets, which also include a meet and greet after the show.
If you chose to stay at Caesar’s Palace, you could also give the sexy circus Absinthe a try after dinner at Stanton Social Prime. The menu takes inspiration from the original Stanton Social restaurant in New York’s Lower East Side, and there are also table-side theatrics to get you in the mood for ‘dessert’ when you head over to the show.
Day 3: Relaxing Day and Grand Finale
After all that excitement and raised pulse rates of the night before, we recommend a chilled final morning, filled with some retail therapy, lazing by the pool, or, if you partied a little too hard, a trip to Hangover Heaven for some rehydration therapy.
Depending on how well the morning recovery goes, you can then also enjoy your final night out in Sin City before heading home to reality.
Morning Recovery
For those who have overindulged, Hangover Heaven is a good choice. They are a medical clinic dedicated to curing hangovers with IV hydration. The quick cures mean you can spend your final day exploring more of Las Vegas instead of fighting hangover symptoms in a darkened hotel room.
Lay by the Pool or Go to the Spa
If that sounds like a little too much movement on a delicate morning, you could be a little less ambitious and just plan to go as far as the hotel’s pool. A quick dip and maybe a cheeky wine spritzer may revive you enough to enjoy your final afternoon and evening. Or you could book a revitalizing spa treatment to help you begin to feel a million dollars again.
Alternatively, there’s also the shopping option to take your mind off the hangover. If you do plan on some retail therapy to ease the hangovers, you’ll find the best shops at the Bellagio, where many of the top fashion houses have boutiques.
Pub Crawl Downtown
Once everyone starts to feel human again, it’s time to head out for your final night in Sin City. We always like to try at least to have a slightly quieter night on the last day, especially if early flights are involved the next morning.
Still, you don’t have to dial it back completely, and you can still head out for a good final night in Sin City. And a pub crawl is a great way to see a little more of Vegas while not going too crazy.
Before there was the Strip, there was Fremont Street. The area to the north of the Strip was once the center of Vegas and where the first casinos opened up. Fast forward a few years, and the mega casinos are now clustered along the Strip. After a few years of neglect, Fremont Street sprang back into life.
The area is now a pedestrianized zone with live music, bizarre street performers, and bartenders serving drinks with added flair and panache. The street also sits under a giant screen canopy, which is the largest video screen in the world, and you can enjoy overhead music and light shows as you move from bar to bar.
While you could fashion your own pub crawl around Fremont Street, joining an organized one will ensure you hit the best bars and have added fun along the way.
For something a little different, you can book onto the Pedal Pub Crawl, where you all help peddle the group-powered cycle to different bars.
If you prefer your own two feet to pedal power, there’s also the Turnt Up Tours Walking Bar Crawl, where you will be sure to stop at all the top bars along the way.
